Blarry - Blind Date

"This is so pointless you know."

"Just relax! Sit here and put this on."

"Pansy!"

She laughed. "Just trust me Blaise. Your face won't be identified and your voice will be altered. If at any point you wish to reveal who you are then just take it off."

I sighed. "Fine. But I hate this you know. Being set up on a date."

She winked and walked away. I was surprised by how clearly I could see through this veil thing she had given me. I didn't wait long before someone sat down across from me. I couldn't tell who it was but they clearly weren't alone.

"I'm sorry. My friends are forcing me into this."

"Yeah mine too." I sighed. "Just because they're dating..."

"... Doesn't mean I need to be dating someone." The person finished my sentence.

We both laughed and it seemed that the awkward tension broke. I hated to admit that I was actually having fun. I learnt that the person was a guy at the very least. It was honestly a relief since I would have left if they were a girl. I hadn't exactly come out but I wasn't hiding who I was interested in either.

"I hate to admit it but I'm having fun." He chuckled.

"Agreed." I smiled. "Do you want to ditch those people watching us? It's still a little awkward knowing that they're around."

"Yeah. What did you have in mind?"

I smirked. "Dine and dash in a sense. You can go to the bathroom and climb out of the window. I'll go to the counter and stick my friends with the bill. Then I'll just walk out the door."

He laughed. "So they can't follow you and my friends think you ditched me. They'll definitely stay behind waiting to comfort me."

I nodded my head and he did too. We gave it a few minutes before executing the plan. I realised afterward that I hadn't given him a location to meet up at. I sighed as I walked away from the building and ducked into an alley. What was I going to do now?

"Sorry I'm late."

I jumped and turned. "How did you find me?"

He shrugged. "I was going to meet you out front but there was just too much glass. So I waited until you came out and tried my best to follow you without being seen."

"Wow that was smart. I was beginning to worry cause I forgot to tell you a meeting point." I chuckled.

"Shall we carry on then?" He held his hand out towards me.

I took his hand and he lead me further away from the restaurant. Before I knew it we were standing in front of a building that looked more than just abandoned. I raised an eyebrow as I watched him pull out a key. When he opened the door I realised that the outside was concealed by magic. This place was a hidden gem.

"So this is my place. Please come in." He gestured for me to follow.

"Thanks for having me. It's cool that the inside is so different from the outside." I smiled. "Honestly, I thought that you were taking me somewhere that was way bad."

"Yeah, I wanted some peace after the war. What better way to get it than to make people believe your house is completely abandoned." He laughed and his voice changed. "If you don't have a special key I designed you can't cross through the barrier. It'll just look empty, rundown and abandoned."

I swallowed the lump forming in my throat as I watched him. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was staring at none other than Harry Potter. My heart was racing as I followed him into the lounge. Did he know it was me? No he couldn't know. Did Pansy know he was going to be there? That had to be impossible.

"Amm. I have a question." I said weakly.

"Sure." He sighed.

"Why would your friends take you to that place for a blind date?"

He shrugged. "I was bored and asked them if we could hang out. Teddy is at Hogwarts now so I have a lot of spare time. Anyway they're planning their wedding so they said that they knew a place that sets up blind dates. They wanted me to at least try it."

I nodded slowly. "I see. Can I ask you something else?"

"I was afraid this would happen." He sighed again. "You can take the veil off Blaise I'm not going to bite. If you want to leave it's okay. I won't stop you."

"How did you know?" I sighed and took off the veil.

"When I was making my escape. Part of the reason I was late catching up was because I saw Malfoy. It was kinda funny seeing him turn red because you stuck him with the bill." Harry shrugged. "If you want to leave it's okay."

I sighed. "I was scared you'd hate me. You knew it was me and still brought me here? I'm a little speechless."

He smiled a little and shrugged. "Times change. More importantly people change. I honestly enjoyed spending time with you today. Since the war sneaking out of the restaurant was probably the most fun I've had."

"Last question." I mumbled.

"Yes?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

"I want to kiss you so can I kiss you?"

He smiled and walked towards me. His arms wrapped around my waist and he closed his eyes. I couldn't help the smile forming on my face. I caressed his cheek and pulled him closer. My lips gently brushed over his before I drew him into a deeper kiss. My heart skipped a beat when he started kissing me back.

I had so many more questions for him but at the moment I just wanted this. I just wanted him kissing me and maybe I wanted his body too. He pulled away and dragged me to the couch. Once I was sitting he straddled me and grinned. My mind was a mess of fantasies and desire for him.

"Ask your question." Harry said as if reading my mind.

"Why aren't you resisting me more?" I sighed. "Why do you seem almost as eager as I'm feeling?"

"I had a lot of fun with you. I was also a bit more excited about everything when I realised it was you. I mean more than I care to fully admit. But if you're uncomfortable..."

I pulled him into another kiss before he could finish. There's no way I was giving him the opportunity to get out of this. All my silly and impossible fantasies were about to come true. I finally had Harry exactly where I wanted him and he was cooperating with me rather than resisting me.

That last thought made me even more excited. I pushed Harry's waist down a bit and grinded my crotch against his. He let out a soft moan and broke the kiss. Both of us were breathing heavily. I lifted his shirt and kissed his chest. He squirmed in my arms a little as I made my way from one nipple to the other.

We were briefly interrupted by a phone ringing. Harry tried to escape my arms as he picked up hi phone and answered it. I smirked at him and his cheeks went red. He was absolutely adorable and I wanted to endlessly tease him. He could probably guess what I was planning just from the smirk on my face.

"Hello?"

"..."

"Hmm... Ye-yeah."

I smirked a little more and pulled him into a kiss. I could vaguely hear the voice on the other end of the line. I could also feel Harry's growing arousal. He was embarrassed but even more than thay he was definitely excited. I pulled away from the kiss to get some much needed air.

"Harry? Are you okay? Ron and I are coming over."

"Hmmgh... No." Harry said breathlessly. "I'm... Ngh... I'm fine. Don't come over! Mmh seriously."

"Do you have a fever or something?"

I smirked as I pressed a finger into his ass. He bit the back of his hand to keep his voice in check. I wanted to embarrass him more and more. His friend didn't seem to understand and he wasn't focused enough to hang up. He didn't even realise that I put the call on speaker after I kissed him.

"No! Stop!" Harry moaned. "Not now."

"Harry? Are you being attacked?"

I couldn't hold back my laughter as I pulled Harry into a kiss again. I pushed a second finger into him and he moaned again. His friend seemed to still not understand the situation and it was no longer amusing. Harry wasn't even listening to her anymore.

"We're outside. Open the door." Granger yelled.

"Tell her go away Harry." I whispered. "Or I'll leave right now."

"Hmmgh... I'm... Ngh." Harry groaned. "I'm fine. Go away Hermione."

"He's currently occupied." I said before hanging up the phone.

I directed my full attention back to Harry. I stopped teasing him and touchinh him. I waited to see what he was going to do in response. He sighed, hugged me and nuzzled my neck.

"That was kind of mean." Harry whispered. "I thought I was going to lose my mind just now. If not from embarrassment then from pleasure. Couldn't you have waited?"

"Did you really want me to stop?" I asked.

"No. I'm upset we were even interrupted." Harry sighed.

"Do you want to continue? Do you want more?" I slowly moved my fingers over his body.

"Yes, I want more. I want you to fuck me." Harry kissed my neck.

I chuckled and pulled Harry into a kiss. I decided that I was going to tease every single part of his body. I was going to take my time working him intoa frenzy of desire. I wanted to see every delicious expression I could get him to make. I wanted him to be desperate for me the way I was for him, maybe even more.

"Which way to your bedroom?" I whispered.

Harry pointed in the direction and I carried him to the room. I laid him on the bed and gently caressed his body.

"How much longer are you going to toy with me?" Harry groaned.

"Until you're a mess begging me for more." I whispered and nibbled on his neck.

He moaned and gave me more access. I slowly worked my way down his body until I was between his legs. I had just barely sucked on his dick and he came in my mouth. A few minutes earlier I would stop touching him everytime I thought he was close to cumming. I guess it built up to an unbearable level because he was like clay in my hands now.

"S-sorry." Harry mumbled.

I chuckled and kissed him. I started my slow exploration of his body with just my fingers this time. Harry pulled away from the kiss when I pushed a finger into him. He was breathing heavily and trying to push his hips against my hand. I pulled my finger out and he groaned in disappointment.

"You have to beg me if you want anything more." I whispered and nibbled his ear this time.

He was moaning too much to form a proper sentence. I pushed two fingers into him this time and he immediately pushed against my hand. I was barely holding myself together as I watched him. His flushed face and desperate expression was so sexy. I wanted to take him but I couldn't because I also wanted him to beg.

"B... Blaise." Harry moaned.

I shook and pushed a third finger into him. Hearing him moan my name like that did something unthinkable to my body, mind and heart. I wished that I hadn't set that restriction. I wished that I wasn't so desperate for Harry right now. I wished he'd beg me and plead for me to claim him.

"Blaise!" Harry moaned again. "Ngh... More. Hmmgh... Please, I want more. Hmm... I'm begging you."

I groaned and removed my fingers. I pushed my dick into him and he immediately tensed up. I stopped and caressed his cheek. He looked like he was in pain.

"Are you okay? Take a deep breath and relax." I said.

He gave me a goofy smile. "It's bigger than I thought."

"I can stop."

He shook his head and kissed me. I slowly pushed into him some more. I didn't want to hurt him but I also wanted to claim him completely. Harry groaned and flinched. I broke away from the kiss and pulled out of him.

"I'm sorry." Harry mumbled.

"Don't worry." I whispered. "We can just do this."

I put both of Harry's legs to one side and slid my dick between his thighs. It wasn't nearly as satisfying as I wanted it to be but it was enough for now. I didn't want Harry to hate me for forcing him. At least this way we could probably build up to properly doing it.

I moaned as I felt Harry's hands wrap around both of our dicks. The added pressure felt so good. I watched as Harry grinned at me and then moved his one hand. He pointed at his stomach just below his belly button.

"I wonder if you'll reach all the way up here."

I lost control and came. Harry's face was so sexy and just thinking about what he said drove me over the edge. That was such a dirty trick he played. I wasn't upset though. I was kind of happy.

"That wasn't fair." I mumbled and laid next to him.

He turned to face me. "That wasn't supposed to be fair. It was payback for making my friends listen to me moaning."

I chuckled. "Really?"

"And for making me beg." Harry smirked.

"Okay fine. I won't do it again." I sighed and pulled him into a kiss.

We snuggled for the rest of the night. My mind started playing tricks on me. I couldn't help but wonder why. Why was Harry so comfortable with me? Why didn't he hate me? Why did he want to have sex with me? Why did it hurt my heart so much thinking I'm just something to fix his boredom?

"What's wrong?" Harry looked up at me. "Your heart started racing out of nowhere."

"It's nothing." I lied.

"You're wondering if I would have done this with someone else right?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

I swallowed the lump in my throat. "If you knew, why'd you ask?"

Harry sighed and sat up. "Because ever since I told you why I went on that bind date it's been bugging me."

"What do you mean?" I frowned.

"It's obvious isn't it? I went on a blind date because I was bored. I brought you here and we pretty much had sex." Harry shrugged. "The understandable conclusion would be that as long as it's because I had fun the person didn't matter."

I sighed. "Yeah that's more or less what I was thinking. Why me?"

Harry turned away from me. "It's because it's you. Sure I wanted to get out of the restaurant. Honestly I was planning on ditching you as well. Then I saw Malfoy and Parkinson. I connected the dots and decided to run after you. Like I said I was excited when I realised that it was you I was with."

I sat up and shifted closer to him. "Why me?"

"Because I wanted to know what this feeling was." Harry sighed. "The excitement I felt. It was the first thing I felt in years. Then I thought that I'd lost my opportunity and it hurt. My heart felt like it was getting crushed and I couldn't understand why."

"What does that mean?" I took Harry's chin and made him look at me. "You're not making much sense."

"I've been numb for years. Even raising Teddy hasn't filled this void that I feel in the depths of my heart. Sure I love him because he's the kid I raised. I'm not his real father and he'll never know what an awesome person his father was. I can never fill that role. So sometimes it leaves me feeling empty." Harry moved away.

I waited for him to continue talking. He eventually sighed and turned to face me properly. I could see pain in his eyes.

"Since before the war I always felt like something was missing. Like something was wrong with me. After everything was over there was nothing left. I joined the ministry of magic to hunt down the remaining Death Eaters. Then I decided that I wanted to live peacefully with Teddy and ended up here. But something was always missing. That void inside of me wasn't going away."

"What does that have to do with me?" I asked.

He gave me a small smile. "When I realised it was you a small piece of that void disappeared. You didn't run away from me when I took off the veil and my heart skipped a beat. Even after I told you that I knew it was you. You asked if you could kiss me. That made me so happy. I didn't feel like I was missing something anymore. It was like I had found what was missing."

I sighed and shook my head. "But why me?"

Harry moved closer. "The day I saved you from that fire in the room of requirement. I didn't realise it then, but something finally made sense to me. It wasn't Malfoy I was annoyed by. It was you. I was irritated that you spent time with him. Annoyed that you called him your friend. I was jealous because the moment you smiled at me and said thanks. The moment you acknowledged me, my heart, mind and time itself froze. I have been longing for your attention ever since then."

"So that's all it is?" I frowned.

"Blaise, I'm trying to explain to you that I'm in love with you. I'm hopeless when it comes to anything regarding romance. I don't really understand much of it. I know that no one else in the entire world makes me feel like I'm finally complete except for you. When we were having dinner I was only wondering if I'd be able to ever talk to you like that." Harry shrugged and I waited for him to continue what he was saying.

"When I realised it was you I wondered if you'd hate me. When you asked to kiss me that feeling, that brief moment when you first smiled at me. It all came back to me and my frozen heart, mind and time started to move again. I finally understood what I had been missing because I didn't have you before. So the person does matter, because if it's not you I don't really care." Harry wrapped his arms around me.

"You're in love with me?" I raised an eyebrow.

Harry nodded his head. "Yes, and I have been for years. So, Blaise Zabini, can I kiss you?"

I chuckled a little and pulled him on top of me. "Yes you can. Only if you let me kiss you back."

He didn't hesitate to connect our lips. Honestly I never thought that I'd hear those words from him. I thought my feelings were one sided and unrequited. I was surprised by how wrong I was. This whole time Harry had feelings for me too. I regretted not acting sooner, but I was also glad that I hadn't. If I had tried anything before I doubt he would have accepted it.

I woke up to the smell of cooking the next morning. A small smile spread across my face. Even though we didn't really do much more than kiss I felt completely refreshed and happy. I hadn't opened my eyes yet because I was still relishing in my memories. I felt something soft press against my lips followed by a tongue.

I smiled as I kissed Harry back and pulled him back into the bed. He pushed away from me and grinned that lovable dumb grin. My heart had never felt so complete in all of my life. I finally got what I had wanted for so long. He was smiling back at me for once. That goofy and happy grin I used to be so jealous of.

"Good morning. Do you really think it was a good idea to wake me up with a kiss?" I smirked.

"Don't play coy. You were already up. I was jealous of whatever was making you smile." Harry huffed.

"Oh? How can you be jealous of yourself? I didn't know such a thing was possible." I chuckled.

Harry's cheeks turned red and he squirmed out of my arms. "Breakfast is ready. I should go and turn off the stove."

I laughed. "Okay I'm coming darling."

Harry gave me a funny look and walked away. I looked around his house properly for the first time. It was a rather cozy place and I could tell it wasn't exactly layed out the same as that abandoned building. I might not have thought about it before but there was no mistaking it now. I wondered what would happen if I used the front door without the key.

"It's a gateway spell." Harry suddenly said.

"Huh?" I frowned and looked at him.

"You were wondering about the abandoned house, weren't you?" Harry shrugged. "I used a gateway spell disguised as a barrier. If you leave this building without the key you'll just be outside my actual house on the seashore. The key acts as an activator for the teleportation spell. Kind of like a Port Key."

I nodded my head. "I see. That's actually really clever."

Harry smiled and shrugged. "Teddy's coming home today. I'm pretty sure Hermione and Ron will be with him."

I checked my phone and sighed. 15 missed calls from Draco and 20 from Pansy. My mother even called me 10 times, while my father just tried 5 times. Draco also left me 25 messages, while Pansy left a surprising 50 messages. I didn't need to read them to know what they wanted. Draco was probably pissed I left him with the bill.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked.

I showed him my phone and he started to giggle. Merlin save me, he is so freaking adorable. We sat at the table and ate. Harry then wrote the address of the abandoned house for me. That was the only entry point to access this place after all. Any door inside the house could be used to return to the abandoned building though.

"It's quite secure." I frowned slightly.

"I may be a bit paranoid after everything. Teddy and I are the only two with keys. I mean I love my friends but you know..." Harry shrugged. "I would rather not have them drop by whenever they want. Yesterday would have been a disaster."

I nodded my head. "Well in that case do you think you can give me a key? I'd love to be able to fill your lonely days."

I watched as Harry licked his lips in anticipation. I had to admit that I was purposely toying with him again. His reactions were always so cute. I leaned a little closer and he closed his eyes. I to spend wanted every day of my life with him.

"If you don't give me a key how can I visit you?" I whispered and started to walk away from him.

"You're so mean." Harry mumbled and pouted.

I couldn't help it. I walked back to him and kissed him a little desperately. My heart was racing in my chest. Just seeing him like that had made me so excited. I lifted Harry against the wall and he wrapped his legs around me. We had both forgotten where exactly we were. That's why we were surprised when someone cleared their throat to get our attention.

"Teddy! You're back early." Harry quickly said.

"Yeah I'm not though." Teddy glared at me. "It's dinner time."

Harry and I both looked at the clock. I had woken up around 11 so technically my breakfast was lunch. I saw Harry's cheeks turn red again as he looked around. There wasn't anything ready to eat. Harry and I had gotten lost in our own world.

"Borrow me your key for now." I said and held out my hand. "I'll go get something for dinner."

Harry's blush deepened as he handed me the key. "Thanks."

I kissed his cheek and walked towards the door. "I won't be long."

Honestly, I was running away. Not from Harry but from the situation. I was worked up and irritated. I was irritated because we were interrupted. I needed to clear my head and calm myself down. If I had stayed I might have done something unforgivable. It took a while for the food order to be ready anyway.

"I made it back." I called out.

Harry's head poked out from behind the wall and he smiled. I couldn't help but smile back. He took the bags from me and put them in the kitchen. Obviously the food was going to come after the conversation that had been waiting for me.

"Here's your key."

"Keep it." Harry chewed his lip. "You wanted one, right? I've got another spare in my room."

I grinned. "I was only toying with you. But now you can't change your mind. This is mine forever now."

I tossed the key, grabbed it mid air and shoved it into my pocket. Harry was avoiding looking at me but it was obvious he was blushing. The awkward silence went on for a bit longer than I would have liked. Even worse Harry couldn't seem to look me in the eye. It gave me a weird feeling.

"So you and my dad are dating now?" Teddy asked.

"Hmmm. Harry, are we dating?" I asked and smirked.

"Only if you want to." Harry whispered.

I smiled and turned back to Teddy. "Yes. We're dating now."

Draco raised an eyebrow. "You stuck me with the bill so you could have a booty call with Potter?"

I frowned. "No. I stuck you with the bill because when you force someone to go on a blind date you're not supposed to stick around. But I suppose I do owe you some thanks."

"Oh My Merlin!" Hermione gaged. "I feel so... Eww!"

I started laughing and Harry hid his face. I realised why he couldn't look at me now. He was embarrassed about what had happened yesterday. Hermione realised it because of what Draco had said. Harry couldn't even look at his friends.

"Why did you answer?" Hermione cringed.

"Because nothing had happened!" Harry yelled unexpectedly.

"He's not lying." I shrugged.

Hermione stared at me in horror. "But why didn't he..."

I smirked. "I took the phone from him and put it on speaker."

"Ewww! Oh my word." Hermione pulled her face.

"I'm really sorry 'Mione." Harry mumbled.

I laughed and shook my head. That went as expected. Draco was looking at me in horror as well. Pansy was sympathetic towards Hermione. Ron and Teddy shared a confused look and frowned at us. Harry was still avoiding looking at me.

"I'm afraid to ask... But if you answered because nothing had happened yet. Then why..."

"That was partly both of your fault." I shrugged. "He ignored me to pick up his phone and talk to you."

"That makes sense. You were always so childish." Draco sighed.

Harry frowned at Draco. "What do you mean?"

Pansy shook her head. "When it comes to you he's like a spoilt little brat. Draco stopped annoying you so much because Blaise always got jealous and hexed him."

"Well... I mean. Well..." I stammered. "I mean he was being mean."

"No you were jealous." Draco deadpanned.

Harry finally looked at me with the cutest grin ever. "Is that why you were so hmmmph..."

I covered Harry's mouth. "Not the time or the place."

Harry laughed and I removed my hand. He grinned at me and I just had to look away from him. I knew what he was going to say. He was going to ask about the reason I was worried. Before he had actually confessed the truth to me.

"So let me get this straight. You and Blaise Zabini are dating and something happened last night?" Ron frowned at me. "What happened to that blind date?"

I physically face palmed and Harry giggled next to me. A small smile spread across my face. He seriously was the cutest ever. I wanted to sweep him off his feet and away from here. I was getting excited again just thinking about everything. I just wished everyone would leave us alone.

"Blaise was my blind date. We made a plan to ditch the restaurant because we wanted to be alone." Harry explained. "One thing lead to another and I confessed to him. I guess I'm still waiting for a response from him now that I think about it."

"You really are hopeless with romance." I sighed and faced Harry. "Well... I think that's enough talking for now."

I got up and quickly made my exit. Any longer and my heart wouldn't be able to take it. The atmosphere wasn't as awkward but that didn't change much. I was helpless when it came to Harry. My body reacted without permission. Any longer hearing him laugh and seeing him smiling I would have died.

A hand touched my back and I jumped. I glared at Pansy and she held up her hands. I hadn't realised how tense I was. We didn't say much as she helped me with the food. At first it was a silent task. As we got closer to the last box she broke the silence.

"I've never seen you like this with anyone before."

"What do you mean?" I sighed.

"Draco and I have always known your softer side. You don't usually show people that you care. But it's different with him." Pansy shrugged. "Way different than it is with us."

I sighed and shrugged. "How is it different?"

She smiled. "Everything is out in the open even when others are around. You're not even trying to hide your true nature. The way you tease him and your smile is genuine. Not to mention that you're almost always watching him. I noticed just now when he laughed. You instantly smiled. Normally you wouldn't even react."

"He said something yesterday." I looked back over my shoulder. "It broke my heart listening to it but I completely understood him."

"Huh?" Pansy frowned.

I scratched my neck. "It's hard to explain. Even before, while we were still in Hogwarts. I hated that smile of his because it was never directed at me. It's like he stole everything from me without even knowing. Yesterday when he was talking I thought 'that is exactly like me. I've been missing something.' Then he smiled at me and it was like I had found that missing piece."

Pansy sighed and shook her head. "You're helplessly in love with him. You havebeen for years."

I laughed a little. "I'm completely and utterly smitten by him. There's no one else I could love besides him. No one who can match the feelings I get when he smiles at me. Hell, I'm desperate for his attention all the time yet I can't face him. My heart feels like it'll explode every single time he giggles or smiles at me."

Pansy took out her phone and showed me the screen. My heart sunk just a little. I felt frustrated and betrayed. I couldn't understand why she would have done that, yet I knew exactly what she had done. I felt like I was starting to suffocate. If I turned around I would die. I'm pretty sure my face looked horrified.

"Why?" My voice cracked.

"Because!" Pansy yelled. "The man you have been pining after since our 5th year in Hogwarts is right there. He confessed to you and you said nothing in response. You couldn't simply tell him that you loved him back? When you got up just now his mood instantly changed. He was upset and you are to caught up in your own thoughts to even realise."

"I..." My voice was betraying me. "I... just couldn't."

Pansy sighed and started to walk away. She was carrying some of the plates with her. I felt like I had been beaten to a pulp. I couldn't move my body. I couldn't breathe. I hadn't realised what my silence was doing. Still I wasn't strong enough to face him.

"Blaise?" I slowly turned to face Harry. "I didn't know that they were going to do that until it was too late."

"It's... It's okay." I lied and forced a smile. "The food is getting cold."

We ate in silence for the most part. Teddy asked Hermione and Ron if he could stay with them for a while. I felt even more guilty because Harry was his dad. After some arguing it was agreed that Teddy would stay at home. I was still shaken up by everything. Sharing my feelings wasn't one of my strong suits.

Before long everyone was gone. Harry, Teddy and I were silently sitting in the lounge. Teddy wanted to leave but Harry stopped him. Of course this was going to affect Teddy whether he was here or not. I didn't know why I was so frozen.

"Blaise, if you don't feel like..."

"Do you hate me?" The question was directed at Teddy. "I mean I hurt your dad without even realising it and I'm a coward. I didn't even realise the truth after I claimed that I loved him."

Teddy shrugged. "Yeah, you are a coward. But not for the reasons you think. People can change their minds. Even after confessing a truth. I don't hate you for that. I do hate you for being selfish."

I frowned. "What?"

"You think it's enough? You both admit your feelings and everything else is okay? I'm sure dad told you a lot about himself. So why don't you explain why you can't trust what he says?" Teddy huffed and crossed his arms.

"Teddy, that was rude!" Harry scolded him.

"He's right." I sighed. "You're a pretty smart kid."

Harry frowned at me. "What do you mean?"

I smiled a little. "I panicked when Pansy showed me her phone. The first thing that went through my mind was that you would hate me now. That whatever we had was completely over."

"Why would it be?" Harry sighed.

"I grew up with the belief that showing emotion or expressing any feelings was bad. I did my best to be the perfect son. One day my father praised me and I got excited. I was overjoyed that my father loved me and thought I was good. I broke my prefectly scalped expression and showed everything I was feeling. Since then my father has done nothing but ridicule me." I shrugged.

"You thought that telling me the truth would turn out the same." Harry took my hand. "I was okay waiting for a response. It wouldn't have changed anything."

Teddy stood up. "Okay. I don't hate you anymore. If you hurt my dad I'll hurt you. I'm going to bed now."

I couldn't help but laugh. Here I was with the man I loved. He came packaged with a feisty teenager. As far as family went they were a perfect match for me. Harry who was true to everything he said. Teddy who didn't take any shit from anyone.

"I love you more than words can express." I sighed.

"You really love me?" Harry grinned.
