2023 Opinion
Well, I believe we have arrived on one of the most hated canon ships in the history of the Harry Potter fandom.

And no, I don't ship it. I don't agree that it should be hated as much as it is (because a lot of anti-remadora people are hypocritical), but I do dislike it. What was actually so great about their relationship? I do agree that they are both as fierce, brave, and stubborn as each other, but I don't actually believe that this would make them a good pair. Remus was very cowardly, that much is clear. He was willing to leave his wife and baby to join another person's son on a dangerous mission that probably would've left Teddy fatherless (even earlier). Not to mention that he didn't want to marry her! It was understandable, of course, with his lycanthropy, but whenever I read it, I can imagine Tonk's frustration. I feel as though they would've argued too much. I kind of feel like they were shoved together just so fans couldn't ship Remus and Sirius as much. I don't hate this ship, but I don't particularly like it, either. It's very odd and would probably have become toxic. Besides, I really didn't see any chemistry between them. It just sort of...happened?
