2023 opinion
I do not, in any way, ship this. Ron is way too tactless and insensitive. I mean, he has the emotional range of a teaspoon, remember! I don't think we know Cho's personality very well considering the events that took place when she was most involved, but I doubt she would like him very much. I just really can't see it working out. I don't even see them as friends let alone partners — I seriously think Ron would only put up with for the sake of his friends!
