Draco watched you prepare your guitar. He was going to watch yet another amazing performance by you. He had been into you for awhile. You had been talking a lot recently. When he found out a few students had made a band at Hogwarts, he went to all your performances.

You looked up and made eye contact with Draco. You smiled at him. The way Draco supported you always made you happy. He was an amazing person. His smile always made you feel so alive.

'There she is.' Draco heard the whispers behind him.

He turned around and saw Cedric. He was with some friends. What you both didn't know was that Cedric had a crush on you too. Recently he had been showing up to a lot of your shows.

'That one?' His friend asked.

'No the one with the guitar.'

They all looked at you. Draco frowned. What were they up to. Right at that point you gave your Electric guitar and test. The sound echoed through the room. Your band members laughed and started talking to you. They were all preparing for the show.

'She isn't your usual type.. but she seems cool.'

Type? What did they mean by that. Draco crossed his arms. He probably looked very creepy staring at them like that. No way Diggory was into you.

'That's the thing. She's different. I think I'm going to ask her out.'

Draco laughed. He didn't mean to laugh but it just happened. It slipped out. The two pair of eyes were on him.

'What?' He asked.

'Dont think that we can't see you staring.' Cedric said. 'What are you laughing at?'

Draco walked over to them. He was about to tell him what he was laughing at.

'I hate to break it to you, but I've known Y/N for awhile now and I'm going to have to tell you to beat it because I'm asking her out.' Draco said.

Cedric snorted and rolled his eyes.

'Come on man. You're a 5th year. I'm in my last-'

'Which you failed last year.' Draco added.

Cedrics face shot into a nasty look. Draco gave him a cocky smile.

'You're no match to me. Your entire grade and all the younglings might te petrified of you.. but all I see is a spoiled brat.. and I'm sure Y/N sees that too. So no way you're asking her out before me.'

Cedric wanted to push him aside but Draco just grabbed his arm arm and pulled him back.

'Listen here you dumb cockroach.' Draco hissed. 'Me and Y/N have been talking a lot, I've been building up a connection and some bimbo like you isn't going to ruin that.'

Cedric laughed and pulled his arm back. He stood over him with a threatening posture and narrowed his eyes.

'What are you going to do? Call you daddy?' He grinned.

'If I do I'll make sure he calls someone on your arse, you piece of crap.' Draco hissed.

'Who? He-who-must-not-be-named? You think you and your dark family scare me?'

Draco looked passed him and saw you setting up on the stage. The performance was about to start. This was a very stupid timing.

'You better take your bloody seat and calm your old heart down. You look like a peadophile hitting on her.' Draco hissed. 'The performance is about to start.'

'After the show she's mine. You watch.' Cedric threatened before walking towards his friends.

Draco really had to act now. He watched you walk off the stage to grab some final things while more and more people walked in. He ran towards you and grabbed your arm before you could walk back onto stage.

'Oh, Draco.' You smiled. 'What a surprise. I saw you talking to Cedric. Didn't know you two were friendly.'

'We aren't. I just wanted to wish you luck.'

You felt yourself smile and blush. That was really sweet. You practised a lot for this show and it was always nice if people showed support. Especially Draco.

'You're the sweetest. Thank you.' You smiled before giving him a hug.

You felt his arms wrap around you. This was a great feeling. Life was really good right now. After awhile you pulled back.

'We are about to go on. I'm glad you're here.' You smiled

'Wait. I just.. I wanted to ask you something.'

'Well, quickly then.'

Draco swallowed. He really had to go for it or he'd miss his chance.

'Do you want to go out with me some time?'

You were in shock. You honestly had no idea that he liked you. You looked at him but then finally smiled. This made you incredibly happy.

'Yes. I do. Wow.. I never thought you'd feel the same.' You grinned. 'Yes. I'd love to. I'll discuss it with you after the show.'

You kissed his cheek before running onto the stage. Draco smiled and sat down.

After the show you walked off the stage. Cedric was the first to walk up to you.. and Draco just let him. He was going to enjoy this.

'Hey.' You smiled at him.

'Hi. That was a great show.' He said.

'Ahw thanks.' You smiled.

Draco leaned against the wall and grinned. This was going to be great.

'I was just wondering if you'd wanted to go out some time.'

This was awkward for you. You didn't want to upset him but you didn't want to go out with him either. You just had to be honest and hope that he'd still be your friend.

'I'm sorry but I'm already going out with Draco. He asked me before the show. It's unfair to him if I say yes and i also kinda see you as a friend. I'm sorry.'

'Yeah bye.' Draco laughed at him.
