Narcissa Black- Muggleborn (c)
Being a muggleborn in Hogwarts wasn't the easiest thing to cope with but it was something you had to come to terms with. Many people didn't care of your blood status but there was always the few who made life hellish for those whom were different. That in itself was hard enough but when you were dating a pureblood witch whom was from a family of witches and wizards whom despised muggles and saw muggleborns as lesser, it meant that your relationship always had to fight that.
Narcissa Black was your girlfriend and the love of your life. She didn't care if you were muggleborn, as all she wanted was for you to be happy. However, her eldest sister despised anyone whom wasn't pureblood and had led to Narcissa to spend most of her time with people with similar views. Even if your relationship was happy and love filled, it was only present in the shadows, her being too fearful of people's reactions if they knew of your connection.
It did hurt a little for your girlfriend to not want anyone to know about your relationship but she reassured you that at the beginning of the new school year, she wouldn't hide anymore, that she would be willing to shout her love from the top of the Astronomy Tower, if that was what you truly wanted from her. Sadly, that wasn't what happened. She still hid her love for you and tried to keep any connection between the two of you to a minimum.
You approached her in a corridor when she was waiting for one of her classes.
"Morning Cissa," you smiled, leaning in to press your lips to her cheek.
She jumped back, swatting you, to stop you from touching her, her eyes wide and fear filled. Narcissa looked around, quickly grabbing your hand, pulling you into an empty classroom.
"What are you doing?" She hissed.
"I was kissing my girlfriend. I don't see what is wrong with that," you frowned.
She let out a sigh. "I'm not ready for people to know."
You offered her a gentle, reassuring smile. "Let them see. It's not like we're doing anything wrong."
Narcissa looked to you with an apologetic stare. "I'm not read for people to know about us."
"Why?" You said. "Because I'm not a pureblood? I know it certainly isn't because we're lesbians because the whole school knows you're out and proud."
"Y/N," she whispered, realising how much her decisions to hide your relationship were hurting you.
"No, I get it. Your bigoted friends are more important to you than me. It makes sense now."
You tried to keep your emotions in as you left the classroom, ignoring Narcissa who was trying to call you back to her.
