If Hermione Granger considered your studying an issue, then you truly knew it was a problematic behaviour. Hermione was known for her intense studying habits and rarely looking up from a book especially if exams were coming up, putting her knowledge seeking ahead of anything else. You didn't think she could believe there was such thing as too much studying, but she proved you wrong, seeing such a thing in you.

Your O.W.L.S. were in a couple of weeks and for the last few months you had been increasing how much time you spent in the library and working towards your exams until you got to the current point. For the last week, you had barely slept, hadn't really eaten and had even started taking your books to the toilet with you. All the books had been enchanted to be waterproof so you could shower with them but that had become too time consuming and you were unable to focus on studying as much as you should have.

No matter what you did, it didn't feel as though you had studied enough, and it left you feeling rather hopeless. Hermione and anyone else who spoke to you, tried to assure you that you were bright and were likely to get one of the highest grades in the year but if you didn't feel as though you were ready, then you likely weren't. She tried to stop you studying, asking you to take a break as you were likely overworking yourself, but you didn't see any sense in your girlfriend. Constantly she was there trying to take your attention away from studying but it had been a couple of hours since you had seen her when she walked through the door.

At first you didn't look up, not until you smelt baked goods. Hermione entered the room with a plate of cupcakes and a smile upon her face when she noticed you look away from your book.

"Where did you get those?" You asked.

"Well you've not eaten in a couple of days, so I got one of the house elves to help me make these as I had no idea where to start. They may not be the healthiest, but they are better than you not eating anything. And if you want these you've got to come over to my bed and leave the studying over there," she said smugly, knowing you couldn't say no to cupcakes.

Your stomach growled and you couldn't deny it the sweet treat. Reluctantly you left the work on your bed before scurrying over to Hermione on her bed, grabbing a cupcake.

"Thank you 'Mione."

"You're welcome Y/N."
