Ginny Weasley- Study (c)

"What does that even say?" Ginny sighed.

She handed you her Transfiguration parchment, where she had her notes from earlier in the year. Her handwriting wasn't the best on a good day however with her quickly scrawling during a class, it was illegible.

"I have no idea," you said, leaning in to try and see if you could make out any letters that were in the word she couldn't read. You read the rest of the sentence and even then, you couldn't figure out what the word was with context.

Ginny took the parchment back, read the passage again before it was launched across the common room.

"What's the point in this shit anyway?" She huffed. "I don't need to know the history and development of the field of transfiguration. I know how to turn an orange into a cupcake, that's all I need."

You couldn't help but laugh at her. You wrapped an arm around her, pulling her into a hug so that you could kiss the top of her head.

"It could come in handy one day," you shrugged.

It was false hope for her, you didn't really know why it was necessary to learn but if it meant you were going to pass the exam, you'd learn anything.

"What? When a wizard has a wand to my head and asks who the first witch or wizard was to become an animagi?" She frowned, slouching into your hug, clearly annoyed by her studying.

Your OWLS were quickly approaching and the two of you were trying to get as much revised as you could however it felt impossible. It felt as though nothing was going to go right when it came to revising. Once you'd put the parchment away, your mind had gone completely blank about what you'd read.

"It's going to be okay," you sighed, scanning the page you had been reading but most of it seemed useless and complicated.

You held onto Ginny as she flipped through her parchment, however she didn't stay on a page long enough to read through anything.

"This sucks," she frowned putting it all back on the table, running a hand through her red hair.

"It does," you sighed. "But hey, in a few weeks they'll be over, and we have all of summer to burn this parchment."

A sly grin curled onto her lips at the thought of it.

"Maybe it isn't too bad."
