Ginny Weasley- Dress Shopping (a)

The twists and turns of Diagon Alley were very hard to navigate, especially as a new wizard/witch, you were lucky to have somebody at your side who had an entire ancestry of wondrous magic wielders. You held onto Ginny's arm as she darted through the huge crowds of people, stopping occasionally to dive into a store for a quick second of refuge. She may have seemed eager to be there but really, she was hating every second of it.

"Why are you so against wearing a dress?" You asked as she hastily dragged you into Ollivander's wand shop for some cover against the stampede of people, back to school shopping was always a rough time for everybody.

"I just don't want to, it's not quite my style..." She managed to speak through her desperate breaths as she perched down on the step just outside the store, crouching down you managed to find a spot between her and a wizard wearing a very brightly coloured set of robes bellowing loudly and cheerfully.

"But you would look so good in a dress! You would suit one so well and I am sure we can find one that isn't too girly if that is the issue. Madame Malkin's has got loads of stuff in it of all different colours and styles!"

Ginny's furrowed her eyes under her delicate brows.

"I can be girly!"

"RIght... And Draco can get five minutes without being an entitled prick?" Ginny laughed and lay her head on your shoulders. "If you can be girly then come on, let me pick a dress out for you? Doesn't have to be anything fancy and if you like it, I'll even pay for it as a congratulations for winning the quidditch match against Slytherin." She smiled and blushed very faintly.

"Fine, you can pick out a dress for me, but I can't promise that I will wear it for our date... And don't even THINK about trying to coax me into getting my nails done!" She eyed up the row of dresses that sat on the mannequins in the window of Madame Malkin's shop, her eyes stopped about halfway along the window, you followed where her eyes were leading to see a dress that stood out from the rest of them. It was long and elegant, it's jaw-dropping cherry red reflected like burning fire in her already passionate eyes.

"Well... That is not what I thought you would choose!"
