Sirius Black- Toddler (c)
Having spent the day in Diagon Alley getting a couple of bits for the upcoming birthday of your daughter Andromeda whom was named after your husband's cousin. Seen as your husband couldn't leave the house even if his name had been cleared, you were the one that had to go do the shopping, not that you minded today seen as you had somewhere else to go as well. You knew that Sirius hated the fact that he couldn't go out as much as he would like to, but there were many people who still saw him as a villain even if he was completely innocent. Though this may bother him, he enjoyed being able to spend the day with Andromeda.
When you got home, you could hear the far-off giggling of your toddler, so you followed it up to the brightly coloured room that your child occupied.
On the edge of the small pink covered bed was your husband whilst the little girl was stood on the bed behind him adding another butterfly clip to his long hair. His once black hair was now filled with a variety of types of glitter and sequins, along with bows and clips that you usually put into your daughter's hair.
Meanwhile his shirt was no longer on his body. Although you had become used to the black lines covering his torso, you were surprised to see bright colours filling all of the gaps, making his skin seem like a page from a colouring book.
You enjoyed watching them, but you couldn't help but laugh at such a sight, gaining the attention of the two people you loved the most in the world. Andromeda squealed as she saw you.
Making your way across the room, you kissed your daughter's forehead before pressing a gentle kiss to your husband's cheek.
"Have you been making Daddy beautiful?" You grinned sitting down on the bed next to him.
"Yes," She nodded vigorously.
Sirius let out a rumbling chuckle, pulling Andromeda into his lap so that he could whisper in her ear. The little girl's eyes lit up, turning to you with a toothy grin.
Andromeda jumped onto you, wiggling her fingers, attempting to tickle you.
"Tickles," she squealed, moving her podgy fingers around attempting to make you laugh.
Seeing that her attempt was slightly futile, Sirius quickly joined in making you cry out in laughter, attempting to fight him off without hurting your daughter. The tickling soon seized leading to a slobbery kiss being placed onto your cheek by the young girl.
"I love you mummy," she smiled cuddling up to you.
"I love you too honey," you smiled in response. "Now I think there are some kitten stickers in your craft kit downstairs, I think they'd really go well with your colouring."
Her eyes lit up once more as she scrambled off of the bed, running off to her craft kit allowing you and Sirius to have a moment to yourselves.
"You do look lovely," you smirked, still finding his appearance from amusing.
Sirius' eyes rolled at your comment.
"Did you get Andy's present?" He asked wrapping an arm around you to pull you back onto the mattress that you were sat on.
"Of course. But I had to go somewhere else first. And I have something to tell you," you whispered.
His impression became uncertain, worried by what you were going to tell him. You had no idea what was running through his head but you doubted any of it was good.
"Are you okay?" He asked in a pained tone.
"Yes, I... err... I had to go to the healer," you smiled reassuringly.
Sirius' face paled at the prospect of you having gone to a healer and something having not been okay with you.
"Why didn't you tell me? Are you okay?" He asked desperately.
You couldn't help but smile, even though he was concerned at least he cared and you would be able to settle his worries.
"Of course. I'm not sure Andy will be though," you laughed softly.
"What do you mean? Is she okay?" He questioned, looking panicked.
"Probably not. I doubt she'll enjoy having to be a big sister," you shrugged.
It took Sirius a moment to allow to information to sink in for him. You were terribly excited to be a mum again and you knew that Sirius had always wanted to have a big family so you hoped he would be excited too.
Without a moment of notice his hands cupped your cheeks, pulling your lips to press to his. It was a kiss filled with passion and love, one you wouldn't wish to change for the world.
"I love you so bloody much," he murmured against your lips.
"I love you too."
