The winter weather was harsh on your skin, making your cheeks red in the icy breeze. You had done your best to tackle the bitterness of the snow falling around you and keep some form of stable footing over the ice covered cobbles.

Although you along with all the other students didn't have a tendency of wearing your robes on the weekends especially when you were at Hogsmeade, but it may have been smart if you had as they may have kept you warmer. You'd done your best to be comforted by the large jumper you wore along with the coat that was over the top, but ever the yellow and black hat and scarf you'd worn to show your support for your house weren't helping you much.

You had technically came to Hogsmeade on your own as you were going to meet your boyfriend at The Three Broomsticks which was where you were headed currently. Normally you would have gone to Hogsmeade together but he had already planned to meet up with his friends in the morning, and you were fine with instead meeting him at midday to spend the afternoon together, knowing he needed to have time with his friends as well.

When you had finally reached the pub, the three males were just leaving the building, entering the snowy street.

Sirius' eyes lit up as soon as he saw you, a small smile crossing his face as you approached them. You stopped in front of them, smiling at them.

"Hello Prongs, Moony," you said cheerfully as Sirius took a step towards you.

"What about me?" He smiled.

You rolled your eyes as he leant forward to cup your cheeks with his hands and press his lips firmly to yours.

"Well hello to you too," you smiled in return.

Sirius wrapped his arms around you to pull you into a tight and firm embrace, partially to show how much he cared for you, but also due to the freezing weather surrounding you.

The moment was hastily ruined by the harsh and abrupt laughter coming from Sirius' bespectacled best friend. The two of you paused, not wishing to have to acknowledge that James was there but knowing that you had no real choice.

"Aw... aren't you so sweet Pads," James grinned.

Sirius gritted his teeth as he wrapped an arm around your middle so that he could face his two smiling friends.

"You're just jealous mate. Evans won't even look your way, and I've got the perfect girlfriend, must be hard for you," Sirius smirked.

For the second time since you'd seen your boyfriend today, your eyes rolled.

James went to say something in return but Remus clasped a firm hand onto his shoulder to stop his friend from saying something stupid once again.

"Leave it James," Remus stated. "It's nice that Y/N is rubbing off on Padfoot and making him a remotely tolerable human being even if it is slightly sickly to be around."

You couldn't help but smile at the bickering between the friends, even though you had only ever spoken to James and Remus due to your relationship with Sirius, you considered them some of your closest friends.

"Well it is a tough task to find Sirius Black's heart and soft side, but if anyone were to find it, of course it'd be a Hufflepuff," you smiled.
