Sirius Black- Hair (c)

You were sat in the Gryffindor common room with your friends, waiting for your boyfriend to come down from his dorm. Although Sirius Black was your boyfriend, no one knew of that. You had mutually agreed to not tell anyone about your relationship. It was just easier to not tell anyone. People would make speculations and get involved, and it was just nice to be together without other interfering with anything.

Although Remus and James did seem to think that they knew the ins and outs of the two of your life's- granted it was mainly James but Remus could equally have his know-it-all moments.

The four of you had been sat on the settee's talking about your previous class, but Sirius excused himself to go grab the book he had borrowed from you three weeks ago and hadn't returned, and with it coming up in conversation he did as he should, going to return it to you.

When he returned he plopped down onto the settee next to you, dropping the book onto your lap.

"Took me a while. It was under Prongs' bed for some reason. He does have a tendency to take my stuff," Sirius shrugged.

"I don't steal your stuff mate," James stated. "Your stuff just ends up everywhere, so it's not surprising it was under the bed. I found your shoe under my pillow last week."

Sirius rolled his eyes at his friend kicking his legs out on the sofa so that they ended up laying over your lap.

"Don't blame me for your lack of organisation," he frowned.

"How is it my lack of organisation that results in your stuff everywhere in our dorm?" James said in annoyance.

"Children," Remus stated in a firm and warning tone as his roommates.

Although Remus had his moments at being an immature prat like the other two were most of the time, he was definitely the one that could keep them in control if someone needed to be. However if he joined in with their tomfoolery then it was nearly impossible to get any of them to see sense- it wasn't fun.

You turned away from the two opposite you, looked at your boyfriend, whom was sprawled out on the settee as well as laying across you also. In his hair was what looked like a clump of dust that you could only imagine he'd gathered from crawling under James' bed.

"Sirius you've got something..." you trailed off gesturing to your own hair.

He ran a hand through his hair. It didn't dislodge the dust, if anything it knitted into his dark locks further.

"No... you..." You muttered before giving up in trying to talk to him.

With a sigh you shuffled so that you knelt on the cushions of the sofa so that you could reach his hair. You hesitantly reached your hand out, knowing sudden movements around Sirius' hair could end up with someone lying dead on the floor. You unwound the dust from his hair, dropping it onto the coffee table, for him to throw in the bin later.

You fell back into your place, noticing the shocked expressions on James and Remus' faces.

"You alright guys?" You questioned.

"What is wrong with you two?" Sirius asked.

They turned to each other before back to the two of you.

"I touched your hair once, because you had a leaf in it, and you punched me," James hissed.

"I attempted to get something off of a shelf above his head and accidentally touched his hair and he bit me," Remus frowned.

"So why did you not even react to Y/N, touching your hair?" James said with an accusatory glare.

You looked to Sirius out of the corned of your eye. You could see that his expression was hesitant and unsure.

"Oh..." He mumbled.

Turning to look him in the eyes, he raised an eyebrow. Although to most it was a simple gesture, you knew what question was lying behind it. Letting out a sigh you nodded.

"We've not been completely honest with you," Sirius stated, sitting up so that you were practically rubbing shoulders.

"We... um... we're dating," you said softly as one of Sirius' arms wrapped around your shoulders.

The two boys opposite you, seemed confused and unsure of the sincerity of what you'd told them.

"You've got to be joking," James laughed. "Y/N, would never date you."

Sirius feigned shock and pain from his friend's statement.

"Why wouldn't she want to date me? I'm a handsome and intelligent young man, whom has exceptional charm and magnificent grace," he grinned, rather full of himself.

You rolled your eyes. "You act as though you're a sought after commodity."

"I am love," he smiled leaning in to kiss you. "You said yes to a date with me, so clearly you want to be with me."

"Not to mention all of the girls that are in love with you."

"You're the only one for me."

"Stop being cheesy for their sakes. I think they got the message that we're dating. We're a couple but we are not cliché," you stated firmly. "Not once have you brought me flowers or chocolates. Even Remus has bought me chocolates."

Sirius chuckled turning to the werewolf on the other settee.

"You've been buying my girlfriend chocolates Moony? Something I need to know?" Sirius joked.

Remus' cheeks instantly flushed looking in your direction.

"She asked me to buy her chocolate when I went home for summer. No romantic connotations to it. Just doing a friend a favour," he stated firmly.

"I'm only joking Moony."
