Sometimes you wondered how Remus could be so oblivious. As far as you knew your affections towards the werewolf, were insanely clear and not hidden at all, however as far as you knew Remus was none the wiser that you liked him.

James knew that you liked Remus, he had since the day he caught you when you tripped down the stairs when attempting to look at him. He found it amusing, but promised not to say anything to anyone, and from then was too busy attempting to win over Lily Evans to be able to do anything.

Although he promised not to tell anyone, surprisingly Sirius was aware of your crush the next day. Sirius made it his mission to set you up with his friend with the furry problem, but so fair neither of you had done too well. After three years of liking him, you'd gave up hiding it really. You weren't willing to tell him yet, but your interests in him was still clear.

Sadly Remus had only ever treated you as a friend.

Currently you were in Hogsmeade with Sirius, Remus, Peter, James and Lily. You were at the front of the group with Sirius by your side. There was a fair gap between the two of you and the rest of the group seen as your discussion did involve Remus and you'd rather not let him know.

Behind the two of you was Remus and Peter. They weren't talking just walking aimlessly between the rest of the group. At the back was James and Lily. He was continuously flirting with Lily, but she still wasn't taking any of it.

"Going to tell him Y/N/N?" Sirius asked nudging you with his elbow.

"He doesn't see me as anything but a friend," you sighed. "I should probably give up. I don't really want to ruin it."

"He likes you Y/N. He's just too stubborn to say anything. He doesn't think you like him, so he won't do anything to threaten your friendship," he shrugged. "He's an oblivious bloke. You'd think he'd have noticed by now. Even James knows about it and he spends all his time staring at Evans."

"You're mad Sirius. He doesn't like me."

Sirius laughed at you. You continued on in silence, until you noticed a terrifying grin on the face of the dark haired boy next to you out of the corner of your eye.

"I know a way to prove that he likes you and for him to admit it," he stated still grinning like a mad man.

"You do?" You said dubiously.

He paused for a second. "Promise not to hit me?"

"Promise."

What he did next you would have never expected. Sirius stopped walking, lacing an arm around your waist pulling you to him. He stooped down, winding a hand into your hair, to push your face towards him. Firmly his lips pressed to yours. You weren't quite sure what was going on at first, not until he was pulled away from you.

As soon as your brain started working again, and one of your hands trailed to your lips to see if it was real, you could see Remus' fist colliding with Sirius' face, knocking him to the floor.

Your head turned to the other three. Even James was paying attention, which he never did if Lily was around.

"Remus," You said firmly, tugging on his shoulder to pulling him away from the dark haired boy now on the floor. "Why the hell would you hit him?"

A growl fell from Remus' mouth as he turned to you, but as soon as your eyes connected his expression softened.

"Don't worry Y/N, you promised not to hit me. Moony didn't," Sirius stated, wiping the blood away from his mouth.

"You didn't answer my question," you said to Remus.

Remus looked down at Sirius seeming angry still.

"I... I couldn't see him kiss you," he muttered.

"Why?"

"I like you Y/N," he said softly.

Your grin was comparable to that of Sirius' moments ago. The following moments were similar too. You pushed yourself onto your tiptoes, kissing him. This kiss wasn't as firm, but it was sweeter, nicer and it felt a lot more special. As you pulled away you bit your lower lip to see Remus' blushing cheeks.

"Is this kiss Y/N day? Can I retrieve my kiss from Lily instead?" James smirked, retrieving a punch from the redhead next to him.

"That was my first kiss," Remus whispered.

"Don't worry. You witnessed mine just before," you stated.

"Same," Sirius piped up.

Everyone's attention went back to the boy on the floor. He raised an eyebrow at his newfound attention.

"What?" He exclaimed. "Girls may show me a lot of attention, but I didn't find one that was worth it. Not until Y/N. If it doesn't work out for you two, you know where to find me. Best first kiss a guy could ask for, am I right Moony?"

Sirius winked at you.

"You are correct Pads but don't push it, or I'll push you from the astronomy tower," Remus said stoically.

You took a step towards him, reaching out a hand to help him up from his place on the floor.

"Be nice Sirius. Thank you for getting us to admit our feelings but if you get involved, I will kill you Black, long before Remus gets a chance," you frowned at your friend.

Sirius feigned pain from your statement as Remus reached out to take your hand in his.
