Nymphadora Tonks- Meowy Christmas (c)
Tonks didn't want to overstep and destroy the comfort you had within your home on such a magical day. You did try your best to reassure her that you didn't mind, but she insisted that the two of you spent Christmas morning together alone in your home, and her family would join you around lunch to spend the rest of the day as a large family unit.
You had met her mum and dad before and you absolutely loved Andy and Ted as though they were your own parents. Along with them Andromeda's cousin Sirius and his husband Remus were going to join you also. You weren't a huge fan of spending time with people but they were lovely and it was Christmas so you were fine with it.
Rather than having a girlfriend it had felt like you had a toddler instead as she jumped on your shared bed to wake you up bright and early for the best day of the year.
The both of you were excited for the day so rushed down to the Christmas tree still in your pyjamas, ready for the fun filled day ahead of you.
It took you a couple of seconds of discussion to see whether you should wait for her family to arrive before you opened your presents but she insisted that the two of you should exchange your presents and the others could wait until her family arrived.
Surprisingly she handed you a box first that had holes in which you assumed was due to her not great wrapping skills.
"Quick open it," she beamed practically bouncing in her seat on the floor.
You weren't sure what the rush was but you certainly weren't one to argue with Tonks.
Raising the lid, you were shocked by what was before you. You couldn't believe what she had gotten you and you have never been so happy with a gift.
Picking up the small creature you could help but grin at the tiny bundle of fur in your hands.
"A kitten?" You squealed placing it down onto your lap, running a hand softly against its back causing it to purr loudly at the contact.
"What can I say?" She grinned. "Meowy Christmas."
You laughed at the woman you loved as you cuddled the adorable cat you had been gifted. Her puns were terrible but you loved them as much as you loved her.
"Thank you love. It means so much to me. She is so purr-fect," you grinned.
"Ah our puns, how I love them," she smiled pecking your cheek.
