Fred Weasley- Best Friends (c)

You didn't know how you had coped for so long on your own without your best friends. At school, you had become so accustomed to just having Fred and George around you all the time, taking for granted that you never had to try or plan to see each other as it just happened as you spent every day in the same building as each other. However now that they had left the school and moved on with their lives you hadn't seen them. It wasn't as though you hadn't tried but between you still being in school and them working, it meant there was little time for you to spend time together no matter how much you wished to.

When one of the regular holidays came around you had headed home, knowing that you were going to take a trip to Diagon Alley to see the people whom you missed the most in the world.

You didn't contact them to warn them that you were going to visit, as you hoped that your surprise arrival at their shop would be a pleasant concept for them.

Happily, you entered the brightly decorated shop, seeing may people around minding their own businesses, trying to find whatever peculiar product they wanted to buy from the crazy twins.

You looked around for a moment before you found the red head you were here for.

"Fred Weasley being an adult with his own business, I think I need to sit down," you smirked, taking his attention away from the shelf he had been looking at.

A smile instantly spread across his face as he looked at you completely unbelieving that your presence was actually there in his shop.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?" He exclaimed, enveloping you in a tight hug.

"I missed you, you goof. I want my best friend back," you said softly being happily held in your best friend's arms.

He rubbed a hand against your back as he held you close to him, just content for the two of you to be together again, you had months' worth of hugs and bickering to make up for.

"What about your actual best friend?" A familiar voice called from behind you.

You turned around to see George stood there with a judgemental smile.

"Hi George, it's nice to see you," you smiled.

Since you had met you had gotten along with George, but by no means as much as you got along with Fred.

"Yeah of course it is nice to see me," he said rolling his eyes, "Too busy hugging my brother to even bother to come and find me to say a simple hello."

"We always knew I was the better brother," Fred grinned at his brother triumphantly as though your friendship was a competition between the two which it had never been.

"In your dreams."
