Bellatrix Black- Graight (c)
You were sat in the Slytherin common room reading a book when your silence was disturbed by gaining company on the sofa. You looked up over the book to see Bellatrix Black. The two of you were kind of friends, not overly close, but really that was more your fault than hers. You had liked her since you had first met, but seen as her family were one of the most noble families in the wizarding world you knew you had no chance and as far as you knew she was straight.
"What are you reading?" She questioned.
Looking away from the book, you went to close it to read the title from the front, but before you were able to say a word Bellatrix continued to speak.
"Actually, I honestly don't care. That wasn't why I came over to talk to you," she stated firmly. "All I wanted to say was I like you."
With that she went to leave the room but you couldn't allow her to do that. Had you heard her correctly?
Quickly you jumped to your feet and ran after her, grabbing her wrist desperately to get her to stop walking and look back to you.
"You like me? Like we're friends or like more than friends?" You smiled hopefully, but were trying your best to not seem too desperate- not that it was working too well.
"More than friends," she stated.
"But you went on a date with Rodolphus last week, I thought you were straight," you said softly hoping that you weren't offending her in any way.
She shrugged her shoulders with a smirk. "Well, I'm not gay, I'm not straight, I'm just graight."
Before you could say anything in response to what she had said, she moved a hand to rest on your shoulder as she leaned in to press her lips to yours. The action took you by surprise, and you could only wrap your head around it once she had pulled away and your fingers trailed across where she had just kissed.
"Rodolphus is old news. Honestly one date was more than enough, I think if I spent any more time with him I would be driven insane. If you don't feel the same about me, that's fine. Just tell me. It won't hurt me believe me. Rodolphus' breath was by far more offensive," she stated.
"Of course, I feel the same Bellatrix. I just never thought that you could feel the same way about me. But if you are sure about us, I don't see why we shouldn't give it a shot," you smiled softly.
She nodded her head. "Alright. I'll see you on Saturday."
