Since y/n was no longer a marauder, she stuck around her other friend, Lily. Y/n decided it best that she let Lily find out about the situation from James. She didn't need any more trouble than she already had. Lily knew about y/n's falling out with the boys but she didn't want to push y/n into answering her questions.

Lily and y/n were walking to the courtyard together. Lily tried her best to make time for y/n considering her relationship with James was getting stronger everyday. Y/n and Lily giggled about something their professor said when James approached the two. "Hey." He smiled, wrapping an arm around Lily. Y/n looked down at the ground, missing the intimate moments she used to have with Sirius. "Hey, y/n." James smiled, trying his best to include the girl. "Hi, James." Y/n sighed. "Oh, I forgot something in my last class. Y/n, I'll meet you there! James, accompany y/n while I'm gone!" Lily exclaimed before running off. James and y/n continued to walk to their study spot. "Has he talked about me?" Y/n was the first to break the silence. "All the time. He misses you a lot. And he regrets what he said, but he's stubborn, you know that." James replies. "I miss him, too. But i'm not the one that needs to apologize. And if he won't do it first, then we're out of luck." Y/n frowned. And that's when James formed a plan.

Later on in the day, James told Moony and Wormtail about his plan to trick Sirius and y/n into apologizing to each other.

Y/n was studying in the library when Remus approached her. "Hi, Moony. Long time no see." Y/n smiled, slightly confused as to what he was doing there. "Y/n, we need to talk." Remus replied. "Is everything okay?" Y/n asked. "Come with me." Remus demanded. Y/n got up, leaving her books behind as she followed Moony. Little did she know, James had just told the same thing to Sirius.

Y/n followed Moony out to the shrieking shack. "I'm not allowed to be here, remember? That rotter Sirius said it himself." Y/n spat. "Just... Just go inside." Remus sighed. Y/n shot him a confused glance but went in anyways. Remus walked her up to the rundown bedroom. And once she was all the way in, he closed the door and locked her in. "Hey, Moony! Let me out!" Y/n exclaimed, banging on the door. "Oh, Merlin's beard!" Someone groaned from behind her. With a roll of her eyes, y/n turned around to see Sirius. "What the hell. What are you doing here?" Y/n seethed. "I could ask you the same thing." Sirius replied, sitting down on one of the chairs. "Moony, he..." Y/n began. "We were tricked, love. So, apologize to me and then we can leave." Sirius shrugged. "Me? Apologize to you?! Are you daft?" Y/n scoffed. "No. You said you hated me first, I believe." Padfoot hissed. "Obviously I didn't mean it, Sirius. I love you. But what you did was terrible." Y/n exclaimed. "I know. I already apologized to Snivellus." Sirius smirked. "Severus. His name is Severus." Y/n corrected. "Right. Anyways, I'm glad to hear that you still love me. Because, I suppose I still love you, too." Sirius mumbled. "Can I be back in the marauders?" Y/n asked, a smile forming on her face. "Yes. And one more thing, I'm sorry. I do need you. I'm absolutely nothing without you." Sirius blurt. "That's music to my ears." Y/n sent him a cheeky grin as she fiddled with his hands.
