When Draco first had Scorpius, his first hope is that Scorpius won't be a jerk like himself. Being a bigot doesn't get you far. Draco and Astoria tossed the traditional pure blood beliefs and made sure that Scorpius thought of all humans as equal, no matter their race, magical stature, and all those other things Draco was prejudiced on.
