James Potter and Lily Evans arguably the best couple in the entire Harry Potter series. And in my opinion they really do love each other. But you get some people who say that James never really loved Lily? Now I know that it's just their opinion and we are all entitled to our own opinions but how can you say that James never loved Lily? When Voldemort was coming to kill them James said  "Lily, take Harry and go! It's him! Go! Run! I'll hold him off!" He was prepared to take on Voldemort the darkest wizard of all time by himself so he could protect his wife son. How can you read those words and say that James never loved Lily. James spent most of his time at Hogwarts wanting Lily to go out with him and in that whole time his love for her never waned. His patronus is a stag and a female deer is a doe. Lily's patronus is a doe so they were literally soul mates! How can you say that James never loved Lily when he so clearly did.
