Your godparents, in this your dad will pick someone to be your godparents

Harry

Remus was sat with Harry at his cottage, you were playing Remus looked at Harry and said "harry" he looked Remus said "have you thought about godparents? I mean should anything happen to you like your parents you need someone to take (name) in, I mean I can't for legal reasons and Sirius cant for similar reasons, but you need one or two people you trust to take her in should the worse happen, or you get badly hurt" harry nodded understanding, but who could he ask? he could ask Ron and Hermione, he'd finally told them and they were shocked at this, and a little angry they where the last to find out but when he explained how he didn't know how to tell them they understood, but he couldn't expect them to take you in

Remus gave harry some paper and a quill and said "make a list of people you think would make good godparents, then do pros and cons and after that ask them that's what your parents did, well your mother your father said right away Sirius is to be Harry's godfather, but your mother took a more logical approach and in the end decided on Nevils mother who she was good friends with at school" harry nodded and did the same as that, and in the end had some people harry looked at Remus and asked "so I just talk to the person and ask there thoughts on it, and if they'd be ok with being godparents?" Remus nodded saying "exactly, that way they can refuse if they don't feel they will be up to it and you can find someone else, so I take it Ron and Hermione are going to be one?" harry rubbed the back of his neck and said "not really, they only just found out and I don't think it would be right, but they'd still be someone id say if the people I ask cant take (name) in, there someone id let" Remus nodded and said "a good compromise there"

A few days later harry went to see Luna, he knocked on her door you were with him she answered and said "hello harry and (name)" you squealed loving Luna, you even had the toy she gave you for your birthday she let you and harry in, harry said "sorry for just dropping over" Luna smiled at him and said "oh not at all harry, it must be important" she was soon holding you, harry said "yeah um I've got a question to ask you, and your free to think it over and even say no" Luna nodded he continued "well I was talking to Remus, professor lupin and he said I should pick some godparents for (name), and I was wondering if you'd consider being her godmother? you don't have to"

Without missing a beat Luna said "of course I will harry!" she smiled, Luna adored you and she loved how you'd listen to her talk about the different magical creatures, he said "really?!" he was shocked at this, Luna nodded and said "of course I will harry, I know it's only if something were to happen where you couldn't take care of her" he nodded and smiled, a few days later he went to the burrow with you, he knocked molly answered and said "ah harry good to see you! are you here for Ron?" harry said "no its Fred and George actually, are they in?" molly said "yes in there room go up" she went to make lunch, which now included you and harry he went up and knocked Fred opened and said "ah if it isn't harry kins and wittle (name)!" you squealed loving the twins, who were as fun as Sirius when they watched you

Harry went in George said "and what do we owe the pleasure of your visit harry?" he said "I've got something to ask you two" George took you and sat on the bed with you on his lap, Fred next to him who said "and what is it you want to ask me a forge?" harry said "well, I was with Remus the other day and he mentioned about how if something happened to me who would be (names) guardian, and well he said to think about godparents so" George said "so, you want me and Gred to be (names) godfathers so if something happens to you we take her in if the other person you've picked cant?" harry nodded, the twins looked at each other Fred said "well what do you think?" George said "I don't know, should we?" harry said "its not something you have to say yes or no to right now, you can think it over"

They looked at him and said "well do it!" Fred said "of course we will, I mean where her favourite uncles" George nodded and said "of course! we can add godfather to the official title, and also pass on the pranking secrets to her to do when at Hogwarts" Harry smiled Fred said "let's tell mum!" George said "yeah!" harry smiled, glad both people he asked agreed and he knew you'd be in safe hands if something did happen to him

Draco

Draco was sat in the living room you were playing on the floor, Narcissa said "Draco" he looked up from his book she said "have you thought about godparents for her?" he thought for a moment and said "no, do I need to pick some?" she said "yes, its in case something happens to you and you have a guardian for her, pick someone you can trust like we did with you when we asked Severus to be your godfather" he said "I will mother" he thought 'so someone I trust huh?' he looked at you while thinking of who to trust you with

Over the next few weeks he really thought it over, some of his friends were over at the manor he heard his name being called it was pansy, she said "you're in your own world?" he said "and if I was, I have something important to think over" "and that is?" Balise asked Draco said "picking godparents for (name), I need two people I trust to be her guardian if I can't for some reason" the group nodded, Balise said "that is a serious decision, you can't just pick someone at random you need it to be someone you trust, and you know will look after (name) properly" he nodded you were sat playing with a peacock stuffed animal and a doll

Draco nodded and said "exactly Balise, so ill take my time but I have the list down to a few it's now picking two" pansy said "why not just make me her godmother? you know I'm the best choice" Draco rolled his eyes and said "ill think about it, and it's down to me but even if I don't make you godmother ill at least add you to the list of people I want to be her guardian if the people who are her godparents cant take her" the group talked a few days later Draco decided and sent a letter to the two he decided to be your godparents who where Balise and Daphne, he knew they were the right choices because one was from a powerful family like his, who could make sure you were safe and protected and the other would raise you right, it took a few days to a week or so to get a reply but both agreed to be your godparents which Draco was happy about

Tom

Tom watched you play with your small snake, which was called Solomon you adored him he went everywhere with you, he'd even caught you hissing a few words but it was mostly baby babble or the few words you could say now, he leaned back in his chair and said "I need a guardian for her, should Dumbledore try something with me so godparents but who? I know any of my followers would, but I need a loyal one but also someone, not anything to do with me so that idiot wouldn't suspect I know black and Malfoy will do if I can't think of someone else, then it's both of them I know they will treat her right"

He watched you giggle as Solomon went around your wrist, he smiled at you a month or so later he called a meeting with the most loyal followers his inner circle and said "I am glad you could all make it, I know you have work and exams like myself, but this is regarding my daughter (name)" Orion said "is she alright?" tom nodded and said "she is fine, what I mean is with each day we grow stronger and closer to our goal, Dumbledore also plans his plot, so I want to assign guardians to her should something happen, I need people I trust to go take her in I will asign two of you as her godparents who will be the first two contacted if something should happen, if those two can not take her I will then make it so she goes to others it will be people here in my inner circle who have shown they are the most loyal to me, and will not betray me, know I have thought long and hard on who her godparents will be"

Everyone there was eager, tom let them talk some even made a bet on who your godparent be tom let this happen after he said "the two I have picked are Malfoy and black, they have stood by me since I came up with the idea and have supported me and backed me, and at times told me what I was doing was wrong, they've helped alot since as you know I came from the muggle world, and didn't know about my family and wizarding customs outside my research, so it's away to also thank them for there help" the people there clapped, tom then listed who would be put as a guardian one said "can I ask why McGonagall, she's light?" tom said "she is, but I have been talking to her recently about my plans and she understands what I am talking about, and my end goal so I believe I can trust her, but that is only if the ones I listed before are unable to take (name) if I find she is a supporter of Dumbledore, I will remove her" they all nodded understanding now why he picked her

Remus

Remus had been thinking over who to take you if the ministry decided he couldn't keep you, he wanted you with someone close Lilly saw him deep in thought and went over and said "Remus is everything ok?" he looked and said "yeah, just thinking about what if the ministry decided that because of what I am, they take (name) away but I still don't know if she's like me, since Moony found her around the full moon just before transforming back" Lilly said "they can't take her from you unless you're a neglectful parent which you are not, you do everything for her and she's happy with you"

Remus smiled at her and said "thank you, Lilly, actually can you be her godmother? if that should happen I know you'd take good care of her, and wouldn't treat her like a monster if she's like me" she smiled and said "of course I will! and who would ever think she's a monster? She's too adorable to be one" she looked at you, as you where napping hugging a wolf plushie Remus said "thanks Lilly, I know you wouldn't" she nodded soon James and Sirius came over James said "so what are you two talking about?"

Lilly said "well Remus was saying about godparents, he asked me to be (names) godmother" Sirius said "so am I the godfather?" James said "dogfather more like, but of course, it's me right? I'm the godfather" Remus said "it's Sirius since you're with Lilly James you kind of automatically became godfather, when I named her godmother" both James and Sirius were happy, Remus and Lilly looked at each other Remus said "do you think I made a mistake?" Lilly said "maybe, but I know they'd keep (name) safe" he nodded

Sirius

Sirius was around James and Lilly's with you, Lilly said "Sirius have you decided on godparents yet?" he thought for a moment then paled, he forgot he said "uh I forgot?" she shook her head, Remus came in and said "he forgot what?" Lilly said "to name godparents" Remus said "really? that's one of the first things you think of" Sirius said "ill just name you and Lilly her godparents" both Remus and Lilly said "what!?" Sirius said "what?" Remus sighed and said "you didn't even think it over carefully did you? as nice as you naming me her godfather, I wouldn't be able to because of the law" Sirius said "forget the law, I'm saying who I want and it's you two"

Lilly shook her head at this, Sirius just smiled James of course by default was godfather, since he was with Lilly James was happy to be godfather you had no idea what happened since you'd been to busy playing to know

Severus

(In this Regulus lives)

Severus was with Narcissa since you had a play date with Draco, Narcissa said "Severus is everything alright?" he looked and said "yes, my mother mentioned about godparents the other day, and how I need to pick some for (name)" Narcissa said "oh yes, that's right with me and Lucius we decided while I was pregnant on who would take that role, but you didn't know did you" he said "no, not until I learned she even existed, but how did you both pick me and whoever else?" she put her cup down and said "well, we talked about who we felt the most comfortable and confident to leave Draco with and raise him right if we couldn't there where a lot of people to pick from, we named everyone we knew and then went down the list"

He said "I see, so its best to pick the people I know I can trust the most with her upbringing, but also feel comfortable with them raising her as well" Narcissa said "yes exactly, it needs to feel right to you" he said "I see, well would you be her godmother?" she was taken back and said "why?" Severus said "from what you said, about it feeling right and someone I'm comfortable with raising her, I know you and Lucius would raise her right if something happened to me, and I'm comfortable with you and him" she said "I see and alright then, ill let Lucius know later but I don't think he'll say no, he adores (name) and spoils her to he even treats her like his own daughter, so do you know who the other one will be?" he shook his head and said "no, I don't know yet who he or she will be, but ill take time to think it over"

Narcissa said "that's for the best, there is no rush for who but I would still name a few others who would be her guardian if for some reason me and Lucius cant take her or the other person you named" he said "yeah ill have to do that too, and thank you" she smiled it was then Regulus walked in he said "oh sorry didn't know you had a guest" Narcissa said "oh it's ok Regulus, really Severus is just here to visit since (name) and Draco have a play date" he nodded

Regulus sat down and said "I didn't know you had a child?" Severus said "I like to keep that the people who know to a bare minimum, such as Narcissa and Lucius and my mother and now you, so id appreciate it if you didn't say" Regulus nodded and said "sure I won't say, so how old is she?" Narcissa said "about Draco's age, but a few months younger" he nodded and said "ah right" it was then you and Draco came over, you were soon on Severus lap, Regulus said "she's a cutie" you looked wondering who this new person was, you had a bat plushie with you Sev couldn't get it from you no matter what he tried, he didn't know where you got it from either

The adults caught up chatting and while Narcissa went to change Draco Sev said "Regulus, can I ask you a question" he looked and said "what is it?" Severus said "well earlier just before you arrived, me and Narcissa were discussing godparents since unlike her and Lucius, I couldn't decide while (names) mother was pregnant" Regulus caught on and said "so are you asking me to be her godfather?" Severus said "yes, Narcissa did make a good point on what I need to consider the two main points, which is do I feel comfortable leaving the task of (name) being raised by them, and also do I trust them to do that too, with Narcissa and Lucius I can say I do, and with you as well but I won't make you be her godfather if you don't want to, it's only if you do wish to"

Regulus said "I didn't expect you to ask, I mean you were a year above me in school and we didn't talk much outside the common room, and when you were with cissy, and also what my brother and his friends did so I'm surprised you asked" Severus nodded and said "they are valid reasons, but I am not an idiot Regulus, I know while by blood you are blacks brother you are your own person, you are not a bully and not someone who's ego dictates his life, you have a level head and would do what is right for my daughter, and also if you did feel out of you'd depth you'd seek the right help out" Regulus said "thanks for seeing me as not my brother and I appreciate it, and sure I guess I could be her godfather but I doubt anything will happen to you" Sev nodded and said "hopefully yet hopefully Lucius or Narcissa could take (name), then it would be you" Regulus nodded
