This is a suggestion by phoenixflare07, so thanks Luna for the wonderful idea!!

1-Okay, so for starters if Hermione Jean Granger was sorted into Ravenclaw I don't think she would have been best friends with Ron or Harry. Yes, they still would have met her in the Hogwarts Express but they would've remembered Hermione as a bossy know-it-all (not that she is one) and wouldn't have liked to be friends with her.

2. Number 2, I think she would have been really good friends with Padma Patil (twin of Parvati Patil). Btw in the books Padma is sorted into Ravenclaw but in the movies she's in Gryffindor. They would most likely be in the same dormitory and probably be best friends.
I also think she would be good friends with Luna Lovegood despite her being a year lower then them.

3. Number 3, Harry and Ron wouldn't have survived their first year at all. In philosophers Stone when they are trying to stop "Snape from stealing" the stone their first obstacle is fluffy the three headed dog which Hagrid tells them how to pass. The second one is a game of life size wizard chess which Ron helps them win. The third one is a obstacle set by Snape who was a potion master at the time. For this obstacle the "passer" has to drink the right potion. This is the obstacle that Hermione helped Harry get through by identifying the right potion to drink. Therefore without Hermione, Harry would have drank the wrong potion (because he couldn't identify them) and most likely die. There is only a little chance that Harry would've drank the right potion soooo.

4- Because of Hermione being not so good friends with Ron and Harry she wouldn't have gone looking for horcruxs with them. She would continue her seventh year of Hogwarts and I don't think Harry and Ron would've lasted without her.

5- there is much littler chance of Hermione and Ron getting together, I think she might've gone with Terry boot (idk why) or remained single. I also think she wouldn't be as close to Ginny as she is now and they would barely know each other.

In conclusion without Hermione being in Gryffindor Harry and Ron would have technically died in the first year and things would DEFINITELY not be the same!
