Dumbeldore: also we will also be welcoming other visitors as well! We will be welcoming Madam Maxime and the school of the Beaubotons, and Igor Karkaroff's Durmstrang Academy!

Dumbeldore: the ministry of magic is also proud to present a new task, The Triwizard Tournament!

Mr. Crouch: this year, we decided instead of picking a few students, we would make it more engaging! This year the goblet of fire will pick 17ish  students this year to participate. The winner, receives eternal glory.

Hermione: wait didn't someone die in the previous ones?

Mr. Crouch: yes, but the rewards far outweigh the risks.

Hermione: I don't think you heard-

Mr. Crouch: omg shush child. We're doing it. After all, what's the worst that could happen?

Dumbeldore: so basically, it's like hunger games. If you don't get a good score you will be eliminated, not killed.
