In this AU young Tom riddle is studying at Hogwarts with the golden trio and everything!

And everyone is friends with each other and there are TVs and stuff.

Tom, Draco, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Luna, George, Fred and Blaise were standing in front of your room. You had your own room. You couldn't be sorted so you had your own place.

You had been in there for weeks. All you did out of your room was grab a plate with food and disappear again. Luna knocked on your door.

'Y/N?' She said.

After Dumbledore told you that your parents were killed by death eater your world just ended. You had no where to go.. you fell into a deep, black hole.

'Y/N, please just say something.' Hermione tried. 'We're all here for you.'

Tom watched everyone outside. Maybe it was just too busy for you. There was so many people out here. You and Tom had been the best of friends. You liked him more than anyone else.

'I don't think she'll come out.' You heard him say.

He was right. You weren't going to. You couldn't deal with the amount of people out there.

'Let's just go.' Fred sighed. 'Maybe we can catch a glimpse of her tomorrow.'

They slowly started walking off. Tom couldn't. He couldn't stand it that you were in there, feeling miserable. He watched the rest walk away. He walked towards your door. He knocked softly and was quiet for a moment.

'Y/N? The rest isn't here anymore.. I just want you to know that I feel horrible knowing you're all alone in there. If you ever need me, you know where to find me.'

You listened to him. You needed comfort. You knew you did. It was just always the case that if you opened the door that a thousand people would attack you. You got up and opened the door. Tom turned back to you. As soon as you looked at him you felt your tears come back up.

Tom walked over to you. He gently laid a hand on your arm. He saw how sad you were. He pulled you into a hug. You held onto him tightly while some tears escaped from your eyes.

Tom heard you sniff. He let you go for a moment. He wiped your tears away.

'Its good to see you.' He just said.

'I'm sorry.' You said.

'Don't be.'

Tom grabbed your hand and took you back inside. He closed the door. He watched you head towards your bed right away. You sat down on it and looked at Tom. You did miss him.

'I thought you might need some company.' He said.

You shrugged and looked at the sheets of the bed. Tom sat down besides you.

'I'm here to help.' Tom said. 'Let's do something fun. I brought a DVD of your favourite show.'

You looked at him.

'You.. what?' You asked.

'I thought maybe we should binge watch it.. you know, just for fun.'

You looked at him and gave him a tiny smile. Tom was happy to see that..

You allowed Tom to come to your room more often. You'd binge watch shows, talk a lot.. just spending time together. He gave you his hoody.. that was nice. You really appreciate what he did for you. You became even closer. Every time you saw him you just felt even more amazing.

You looked at the door. It was time to go out. For weeks Tom had been trying to cheer you up. It was time to return it to him.

You opened the door. As soon as you did you saw your friends who were ready to try and talk to you.. Tom wasn't there.

'Y/N!' Hermione exclaimed.

They all ran over to you and hugged you. You smiled and tried to hug them back.

'We missed you.' Draco smiled.

'I missed you too.' You smiled.

They slowly let you go. You looked around. You spend some time with them but wanted to look for Tom.

You found him near the lake. He looked at you. He smiled when he saw your wearing his hoody and some jeans.

'You're outside.' He smiled.

'I thought it was time to come out.'

Tom got up.

'Wanna go for a walk?' He asked.

You nodded. You two started walking past the black lake. You looked up at the sky and smiled.

'Its good to be outside. Thank you for helping me.' You smiled.

'Of course.' He smiled. 'I wouldn't be your friend if I wouldn't help you.'

'Well I just.. i should've let you in. I'm sorry it took me so long.'

'I didnt expect you to be dancing around after you hear news like that. Its okay.'

'Its okay, because of you.' You smiled.

Tom stopped for a moment. You turned to him.

'I had a question.' He then said.

You turned to Tom. He seemed a little nervous. You past him a short smile, hoping it would reassure him that he could ask you anything.

'What's up?'

You saw how his face turned red.

'I-I was wondering if you.. I don't know.. If you wanted to go to the yule ball with me?'

You didnt know what to say. You were such good friends and you could lose it all. It was scary.. you saw his face change a little while you didnt say anything.

'Yes.' You then said.

Tom looked a little surprised.

'What?' He asked.

'I'll go with you.'

Tom smiled. You smiled back at him.

'Stop it Hermione, you're going to poke my eye out.'

'Stay still then, this eyeshadow is important. It'll finish your look.'

'She's right.' Luna said while zipping up your dress.

'Luna dont! You're going to make me ruin it!' Hermione hissed.

'Well if her dress isnt zipped up enough it'll fall off.' Luna hissed.

'Guys!' You sighed. 'Thank you for helping but I'm sure we're all done here.'

Hermione grabbed a tiny mirror and showed you your makeup look. It was exactly the way you wanted it. You smiled.

'Thank you guys.'

You got up and put on your shoes before you three headed towards the great hall. You were a little nervous. Your friends headed in first. You took a deep breath. Your heart was beating loud.

You walked towards the stairs. You saw Tom downstairs talking to Harry and Ron. He looked up. He slowly turned red. You smiled. He walked towards the stairs and offered you his hand to take you down the final steps.

'You look amazing.' He blushed.

'So do you.' You smiled.

You walked towards into the festive room and decided to take a drink first while the champions entered the room. You heard a loud applause while some music started.

'Do you want to dance?' Tom asked.

You looked at him and nodded. He grabbed your hand and took you to the dance floor. A playlist was playing. Everyone got to put a song on it. While you joined the group of people you suddenly heard a song you recognised. Ghost of you by 5 seconds of summer.

You smiled when you heard it. Tom offered you his hand when he saw your smile. You looked at him. He took you to the dancefloor.

He laid his hand on your hips while you wrapped your hands around his neck. He held you close to him. This actually felt very good. You smiled and laid your head against him. Tom leaned down.

'I love you.' He then said in your ear.

You blushed and looked up at him. You the gently pressed your lips against him.
