You were sitting in the forbidden forest again. You weren't even scared to be there anymore. It was a peaceful place for you. A place where you could escape Hogwarts for awhile.

Because you were in ravenclaw your parents expected so much from you. Perfect scores in everything. But you couldn't achieve that. You weren't perfect.. you'd never be perfect. But they didn't understand that.

No one bothered you here. You could read, study and do what ever you liked. There weren't many people around. Because of your parents you had a low self esteem and you hated being around all those other smart kids.

'What are you doing here?'

You looked up and saw Draco Malfoy. You two weren't really enemies but you weren't friends either. You never actually spoke that much.

'I could ask you the same.'

Draco was also there to just be alone for a moment. He was struggling with the pressure of his family too and it helped him to think sometimes.

'I actually always come here to think, if you really want to know.'

'Me too.' You reacted. 'What do you possibly have to worry about?' You asked him.

'More then you know.' He sighed.

'Well, if you want you can sit with me and think. Unless you don't want to sit with a ravenclaw.'

'No one is around.' He said while sitting down besides you.

You both stared into the forest for a second.

'It's weird. We're supposed to be totally different yet we're both here, sitting in the forest to think.' Draco said.

'Do you think we think about the same things?' You asked.

Draco snorted.

'You're probably worrying about your next potions exam. Something I don't care about.'

You were kind off offended by that. Such a steriotype.

'Are you thinking about what mean thing you're going to say to Potter right now?'

'What? No.'

'Then why would you think I'd be thinking about our next potions exam? That's stereotypical.'

'Well I'm sorry but what else could you possibly be worried about? You get almost perfect scores on everything, You have enough friends, No one really hates you.'

'My life isn't perfect.' You just said. 'You're here too think and you have enough friends, No one hates you because they don't want to get into trouble with you and you're not dumb either.'

Draco didn't say anything. He laid his head back against a tree.

'Anything I can help you with?' You asked.

He turned his head towards you.

'What?'

'Anything on your mind that I can help you with?'

'I don't know. Just parents stuff.'

You looked at him. Seriously? He had parent problems too?

'Seriously?' You asked.

He nodded.

'Same.' You grinned.

'Seriously?' Draco then asked.

Now you were the one who nodded.

'Maybe we're not so different after all.' Draco mumbled.

'Maybe I can help you.' You said. 'We seem to have simular issues.'

'They just force me to do things at Hogwarts and at home which I don't want to do. I can't really get into more detail but that's basically going on.' He said. 'My father has immense power over my life, our house, our family.'

Lucius Malfoy. He always seemed like an idiot to you. He hated everyone and everything.

'Can't you do anything about it? It's still your life. He can't decided everything. I mean you're at Hogwarts.'

'He doesn't decide what I do each second of the day but he decides big things in my life. Things I can't control. Things that get laid upon me.'

'That must be horrible.. I'm sorry I-I really wish I could help you.'

He smiled a little at you. He thought you were really nice.

'It's fine. You're the only person I told this actually.. talking helps. It's also my fault you can't help. I just can't tell you what exactly is happening.'

'It's okay. I get it. We're not friends or something like that.'

It was quiet for a moment.

'What's on your mind? Maybe I can help you too.'

'You know I'm a ravenclaw. My parents know that too. They expect me to get a perfect score on everything. When I don't they get angry at me and they say that I'm not good enough. That I'm stupid.'

Draco looked at you in a bit of shock. You weren't stupid at all. You were incredibly smart. He couldn't believe your parents said that to you.

'And they're right. All my friends get higher scores then I get. I study my arse off.. I'm just stupid.'

Draco saw that you were scarred by it.

'Stop talking like that right now!'

'What?'

'You're not stupid! Do you have any idea how smart you are? Your parents shouldn't be like that to you! Your incredibly smart, an amazing witch! Your parents should be proud.'

You smiled at him and even blushed a little. You were flattered.

'Really?' You asked him.

'Definitely! Keep doing what you're doing. Nobody is perfect. You can't be perfect, I can't be perfect. So your parents shouldn't expect that. Your marks are through the roof! You're smart Y/N.'

You smiled at him.

'Thank you.. I really needed that.'

'No problem. It's true.' He smiled.

Draco looked up at the sky.

'It's getting late. We should head back.' He said.

He got up and offered you his hand. You grabbed it and he helped you up. You two started heading back to the castle..
