Draco looked around amazed while the adults talked about the plan for the day. Bellatrix said, "ok how about the bank and then Rabastan can go and get things like the books, potion kits and things, while me and Hagrid take him for his wand and robes?" Rabastan nodded "that sounds good, well meet up for lunch then we do presents?" they all nodded. "Aunt Bella?" Draco called out to her knowing she'd finished her conversation. "Are you sure I won't stand out in muggle clothes under my robe?" she shook her head. "You won't Draco, alot of witches and wizards do that especially if raised in the muggle world or live there, now we're going to the bank first then well go get you somethings" he nodded, taking her hand it was a sort of comfort he was so nervous about this.

The group of four made their way to the bank, a few people whispered and such but no one realised it was Draco. he had put a baseball hat on to hide his scar he didn't want attention yet. all he wanted was a day with his aunt and uncle soon the bank was in sight. "Remember Draco use your manners when talking to a goblin," Rabastan told him. Draco looked and said, "how come?" "Well, they are trusted with keeping our money and other valuables safe, so they deserve respect for that but they do not like stealing at all" "what happens if someone steals from them, uncle Rab?" Rabastan had to think for a moment and said "well from what I've heard they collect the money back with interest, then the person has to work for them for a period of time, but the more serious the theft well it can at times result in death, luckily in all the history of the wizarding world since the goblins became the official money keepers of the wizarding world, no one has died they've had to work for them but never died" Draco nodded.

They were soon inside it was like a muggle bank almost, but with hints of the magical world. Bellatrix went to a counter "yes?" a goblin asked Bellatrix said "good morning, I would like to visit some vaults please for myself and my nephew, Hagrid do you have any business here?" he said "I do, headmaster said I need to get this" he handed a piece of paper over the goblin read it and said "follow me" Draco had watched closely what Bellatrix did when talking to the goblin. he noticed she hadn't talked down to them and said please, he then noticed how some around them talked down to the goblins. Rabastan pushed him to walk Draco snapped out of his thoughts, once in the back, he took his hat off "where are we going?" he looked at his uncle "where going to the vaults, there kept under the bank the further down you go the older and more important the vaults, the rumour is the vaults of the founders, Merlin, Arthur and Morgana are at the bottom but we don't know" Rabastan told him Draco nodded.

Soon they were shown to a kart, Draco sat down next to Bellatrix the goblin got in and it started, it went slow at first then went fast Draco loved it this reminded him of a friend's birthday when they'd invited him to go to Alton towers Theme Park and the oblivion ride. soon the kart stopped Hagrid got out and said "I ate these things" Draco said, "I love them! aunt Bella it was like that muggle ride oblivion" she nodded and handed Hagrid the potion to settle his stomach. he went to get the item he'd been asked to get, once back in they went a bit deeper since the Malfoy, Black and Lestrange were old families, part of the sacred 28 their vaults were a little deeper. they stopped at one Bellatrix helped Draco out, the goblin got out and opened the vault door Draco looked in and saw alot of money "Woah! is this mine?" he asked Bellatrix said "yes, this is your school vault anything you need school wise well get from here, only me, you and your two uncles have access to this until you're in at least 4th year, one of us will come with you to withdraw" he nodded.

Bellatrix gave him a pouch to put money in, she didn't tell him how much to take since she knew he needed to work it out. Rabastan said "next time I'm waiting upstairs, I hate this" Bellatrix laughed at her brother-in-law. soon Draco came over "will this be enough?" he asked his aunt showing her, Bellatrix looked and said "well, do you?" he thought for a moment then went back adding another handful or two into the bag and came back over. "Ok, I think I have enough now" Bellatrix nodded the next stop was her vault, and after that, it was back up, she gave Rabastan and Hagrid another potion to settle their stomachs. both men sat down to let the potion take effect "so that's why uncle Rab never went on any fast rides?" Bellatrix said "yes"

It took about 5-10 minutes for their stomachs to calm down and the group split off, Rabastan went to get things like Draco's books and potion kit and things. Bellatrix and Hagrid went to get the robes with Draco "so what shop first?" Draco asked, Bellatrix said "well I think robes are best, to get first we can have them owled to us when ready, you just really need your measurements, oh Hagrid can you take him while I go and see to something?" he nodded and said "no problem" he took Draco to madam Minkins. they opened the door "welcome to madam Minkins robes for all occasions!" the worker greeted "hello, um I need some robes" Draco said he was a bit unsure. "School robes, Hogwarts?" they asked him. Draco nodded he took his hat off "your!" the worker gasped madam Minkin came out and said "Hogwarts robes, first year?" she asked Draco he nodded and said "yes mam" she nodded. "Go through to the back, another boy is getting fitted," Draco said "ok, oh my aunt said can we have my order owled to us?" madam Minkin said "that is fine, we will sort that out when we have finished your order" Draco nodded his fringe now covering his scar.

He went through to the back and saw a boy his age messy black hair green eyes and glasses, when Draco looked at the boy's eyes, they reminded him of the bright green light he'd see in his nightmares sometimes, and the boy's hair made him wonder had he just woke up or was it naturally gravity defying. Draco stood on the other stand "Hogwarts?" the boy asked Draco nodded and said "yeah, my first year" the boy nodded and said "what house do you want to be in? I'm gonna be Gryffindor like my parents, no potter has ever not been a Gryffindor I'm harry potter" 'wow he's so full of himself, and arrogant maybe if aunt Bella, uncle Rodo and uncle Rab didn't raise me like they had would I have been like him?' "it's nice to meet you," Draco said. he remembered what he'd been told to be polite to anyone he met in the wizarding world, as they might be a pureblood and it was clear to Draco that the boy next to him might be a pureblood.

"Why Gryffindor?" Draco asked Harry said "it's the best house, the best witches and wizards come from there, they are all brave" harry went on and on about how great Gryffindor was. "I wouldn't be caught in Slytherin, there a bunch of cowards they use others to fight their battles, there just a bunch of snakes, Ravenclaw isn't too bad I guess, but Hufflepuff the leftovers go there not smart, there not brave and not a slimy snake" Draco didn't like how Harry was describing the other houses, especially Slytherin his family house at Hogwarts. harry saw Hagrid and said "who's that?" Draco said, "oh that's Hagrid, he works at Hogwarts he's a half-giant" harry scoffed "a half-giant at Hogwarts! he's a danger to students, like anyone who isn't fully human like a vampire or werewolf they can hurt others" this made Draco angry. Hagrid wouldn't harm anyone, the headmaster wouldn't hire someone who'd hurt students, and Hagrid was nice to him telling him about the different magical creatures.

Draco kept his mouth shut not saying anything, not because he wanted to, but because he didn't want to cause a scene in the shop and cause trouble, no he was a Malfoy, and Malfoy's do not start conflicts but they sure as hell finish them. soon Draco had his measurements the worker said "you're done, go to the till and well sort the price out there" Draco nodded "ok and thank you" he went over and soon he had his robes owled to him. he left with Hagrid "Hagrid" he looked at Draco "who are the potters? the boy in the shop said that's his family" Hagrid's face turned a little pale. "Well, they're what's called a dark family, but I'll explain later to ya better when not many about" Draco understood that some things are best said when alone, and this was such an occasion. soon Bellatrix came over and said, "now did you get your robes?" Draco said "I did, I met a very arrogant and full of himself boy in there who will be going Hogwarts, I think I'll avoid him, he said some not nice things," Bellatrix said "alright, remember judge on actions, not appearance" he nodded.
