It had been 10 years since Draco lost his parents and raised by his aunt and two uncles, and any day now Draco would get his Hogwarts letter. over the years they told Draco about the wizarding world, and what happened. which was that a very bad witch wanted to do bad things to the wizarding world, and those who had magical creatures in them, because of that she attacked alot of people, and the people who followed her, and one of the people she attacked was his parents but they protected him, and so that the people who followed the bad witch couldn't find them its why they were living in the muggle world. he accepted that Bellatrix did get him into a muggle primary school so he could make friends and such which he did.

At the moment a now 11-year-old Draco Malfoy was asleep in his bed, while downstairs his aunt had the house elf's prepare a birthday breakfast of all of his favourites. today would be the day Draco got his letter and they return to the wizarding world, "are you nervous?" Bellatrix looked to see her husband there. she nodded and said "slightly, we've been away for so long you only went when you had to vote and such, we got house elf's to get things there" he nodded and sat saying "I know but he has to go and remember what headmaster Grindelwald said he will be safe and he's going to send someone to come shopping with you and Draco, I'll send my brother to will that make you feel better" she nodded. "Yeah, I just don't want him to be taken advantage of at least we haven't said nothing told him, nothing about his parents magic or what happened" he nodded. "Yes, he has a right to know and if we didn't, he might hate us, at least he won't he can understand why when he goes to the magical world why people will swarm him, at least this way he knows and also, he's a pureblood and knows how to act and not a bratty one like some"

Bellatrix chuckled and said "that is true, have you got your gift for him?" he nodded and said "yeah, it's something the Lestrange's give all 11-year-olds when they get their letter, and you?" she nodded and said "I'm going to get it later when we get school supplies, I know he wants a broom so maybe for Christmas, since he can't take it this year but he loved going to the quidditch match last year" he laughed and said "he did, luckily I made sure that glamour was strong" she nodded. soon a tapping was at the window "I'll get it!" Rabastan said as he went to the large kitchen window. he opened it the owl flew to the table, Rodolphus took the letter and gave the owl some water and food, Bellatrix said "put it at his seat so he sees it" he nodded doing just that.

Once breakfast was ready the sound of feet could be heard, and soon a fresh out of bed Draco appeared in the entrance of the kitchen. "Morning!" he told them, the three adults looked and smiled "has my letter come?" Draco asked. he looked to see if the Hogwarts owl had come, he seemed down when he didn't see them. he sat and hugged his knees "something wrong?" Rodolphus asked Draco looked at his uncle "my letter didn't come uncle Rodo" Bellatrix chuckled "Draco, try looking again, sometimes what we're looking for is right in front of us at the end of our nose" he looked again and saw the letter Infront of him. "My letter!" he picked it up "so go on open it and read it so we can start breakfast the elf's made," Rabastan said. Draco nodded opening the letter and reading it aloud "dear Mr Malfoy, we are pleased to offer you a place at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, please find enclosed a full list of school supplies and other information you or your family will need to know, please reply to let us know if you wish to attend put your response in the envelope provided and wait for an owl to collect no later than July 31st, yours sincerely Thomas riddle Deputy headmaster and head of Slytherin"

"So, Draco will you go?" Bellatrix asked Draco said "of course aunt Bella! I want to go, maybe I can learn some more about mother and father besides what you said, and maybe professor riddle will know since he was their head of house" Bellatrix smiled and said "you know what, I'm sure he will like to talk about them and other teachers, now you'd best reply so they can add you to the list" he nodded and ran to get a quill. Rodolphus said, "he's happy and excited, Rab you handle his gift?" Rabastan nodded "yeah just got to let him pick the one he wants, keeping in tradition" Bellatrix looked at the list and said "it's not changed much since we went, I'm sure I have some old books in storage Draco can use, but ill contact Severus for potions ones," Rodolphus said "that's best, the man is the best with potions and sometimes the old books have the best information in, Draco can always make notes, I mean he loves potions and things," Bellatrix said "defiantly" soon Draco came in and wrote the reply "aunt Bella does this sound ok for a reply?" he asked "well let's hear what you put," she said. he nodded and read it aloud "dear deputy headmaster riddle, thank you for your letter to say I have been accepted to Hogwarts, I would like to attend so could you please add my name to the accepted list yours sincerely Draconis Lucius Malfoy" Bellatrix nodded. "Yes, that's good, you've got your point across and were polite now, put it into the envelope and leave it on the windowsill for the owl to collect now let's eat breakfast" he nodded.

Soon the family of four were eating breakfast, the topic of conversation was of course Hogwarts. "Can I take a broom?" Draco asked the adults shook their head "unfortunately first years are not allowed their own broom, it's to make it fair as not every wizarding family can afford a broom, and those raised or born in the muggle world won't know how to get one, and I don't mean how we've lived here since we still go to the magic world, but those who have a muggle parent who knows nothing" Bellatrix told Draco. who nodded "oh I get it, so are all the school brooms the same" Rabastan said "yeah, the headmaster makes it that way he believes in being fair for first years as its the start for everyone"

After breakfast, Draco went to get ready, when he got to his room which had magical wallpaper of dragons flying around. he also had a bookshelf of magical and none magical books his desk full of paper and lesson books a potion kit too. a house elf had set his clothes out for him along with a robe, Draco thanked them they left he changed into them. he did have to admit some muggle clothing was comfy, once ready he went down to see Bellatrix talking to someone. he didn't interrupt he knew it was rude "ready to go?" Draco jumped seeing his uncle Rabastan. Draco said, "yeah, who's that aunt Bella talking to?" Rabastan looked "oh that's Hagrid, he works at Hogwarts he's a half-giant friendly and loves animals" Draco nodded. soon they left for diagonally when there they entered the leaky cauldron pub, Draco was hidden behind Bella and Rabastan once out they went into the ally Draco was amazed he'd been once or twice when it was very quiet.
