At break, the group of 3 were talking about how the lessons had been so far "what is Potters problem? I know I didn't offend his family by rejecting his offer, since what my aunt said my family is more powerful, and I could cause a blood feud but I won't" Draco said. Blaise nodded "you are right on that, I mean the Malfoy's are a powerful light family and have a lot of allies with other families on all sides" "so the Malfoy's made allies with dark families?" Sumire asked Blaise nodded. "From what my grandfather told me, they know when a family can be trusted I mean over the years a family might be seen as dark but the change of head of the family can mean they aren't dark, like Ibex family for generations they were seen as dark but in recent years they've gone neutral, so when the last lord Malfoy Draco's father saw he made them an alias since they had been neutral for a generation or 2" Sumire and Draco nodded.

'i know about the magic world, but Blaise knows more maybe it's because I was told the basics and raised in the muggle world, but I'm glad he's on my side and helping me' "hey guys what class do we have next?" Theo came over "oh it's charms" Sumire said while looking at her timetable "thanks, I forgot want to head there?" Theo said. The group nodded making their way to charms, on the way the group talked about everyday things. Once there a few others were already there and when let in they found some seats near each other, some Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs sat near them. Once everyone was in professor Flitwick went to the front of the class though he had to stand on a stack of books, some giggled since it looked funny "he's half-goblin" Blaise whispered to them.

"Better not let Potter know, he said some mean things about Hagrid" Draco whispered back. Blaise nodded after the register Flitwick said "now today we will start with a simple charm that anyone no matter their core colour can do, as its Gray but it can be used for both good and bad it's the levitation charm, first we will read about it before we do any magic in my class, we will study the charm first to understand it now please read the chapter on the levitation charm, then once everyone has read it we will then move onto doing the charm do not worry if you can't get it first time like with any new spell, it is hard to grasp right away" students nodded and started to read the chapter.

A few students were having trouble reading so Draco helped them, he figured they might be dyslexic he'd bring it up to professor riddle since he'd noticed the wizarding world didn't understand things like that, and maybe some students needed extra help but there might be a spell. "Is everything OK?" Sumire asked Draco looked "yeah, I think some students are dyslexic" she nodded "maybe there's a spell to help them, but maybe talk to professor riddle" Draco nodded "I plan on later on" after 15 minutes Flitwick had them practice the wand movement of the charm. Once happy he said "now you'll each find a feather in front of you, has everyone got one?" the group saw Hermione show hers to say yes. Which luckily everyone had, Flitwick said "now remember it's a swish and flick" he did the motion with his wand and some copied.

"Right now, when you perform the spell, you say wingardriun leviosa" he did the movements and said the spell, and the feather floated the muggle-born and raised were amazed. "You'd think they'd never seen magic before?" Draco heard Ron say to Harry who replied with "yeah oh wait they haven't until they came here talk about easily amused" Draco glared "everything OK?" Theo asked "yeah, apart from Potter making fun of the ones who are muggle-born or muggle raised," Draco said still glaring. "Ignore him it's wrong what he said, but we need to focus on the lesson," Blaise said Draco nodded. Sumire was able to do it right away "well-done miss Snape! well done! 10 points to Slytherin for a flawless spell" Flitwick said with excitement, he could see Sumire was in running for the brightest witch of her year. This made Hermione glare she said "professor?" he looked at her. She smugly made the feather float and even got it to do tricks he said "well-done miss Granger, 5 points to Gryffindor for completing the charm" 'what the hell! 5 points she gets 10 ugh, Sumire Snape you'll rule the day you crossed me' she thought glaring at Sumire who was now helping a Hufflepuff.

Draco got it Flitwick awarded points to students who got it, "now when performing spells, you have to pronounce it right, like this one if you say leviosar it won't work, but say it and say the o in it, it'll work so try saying it like this leviOsa go on" the Hufflepuff nodded and said "wingardriun leviosa" the feather floated. "See you did it, you just have to be careful on how you say it if you're not sure ask an older student or professor" "thanks for the help, I wondered why it wouldn't work" Sumire smiled at them they smiled back. "5 points to Slytherin for helping a fellow student," Flitwick said smiling at Sumire. The class was soon over "homework is just to read the next chapter" he saw no reason to assign any essays for homework, he knew they were new to this and reading would be good enough homework for them.

The students left Harry and his group walked in the courtyard, Ron and Hermione were with him as well as Dudley and some other Gryffindor boys. "Did you hear the snake in class" "I know, oh it's leviosa not leviosar" Ron was trying to do an impression of her. "She's annoying why help someone when you should focus on your own work in class, it isn't your fault if they can't do it" Hermione joined in "I know, she thinks she knows everything and becoming a teacher's pet" the group laughed making fun. Sumire happened to hear the comments holding her tears in and hugging her school bag close to her chest, she went a different way to avoid them "Sumire!" Draco called out seeing her but she walked past head down. "OK, that is strange?" Blaise said Draco nodded he looked from where she'd come from and saw and heard the Gryffindor's laughing.

"They made her upset," Draco said glaring, Blaise put his hand on Draco's shoulder "don't do anything rash, don't be a Gryffindor OK where Slytherin we are cunning so we do something that won't get us caught, and have them be in trouble but we should find Sumire on the way to potions" Draco nodded knowing he was right. While the boys went to find her Sumire had found what she thought was an empty corridor and cried. "what's wrong?" she heard two voices say she jumped seeing Fred and George. She wiped her eyes with her sleeve and said "nothing" they sat by her, George said "now it's not nothing, wouldn't you say oh twin of mine" "your right oh twin of mine, someone's made her cry so who?" Fred said Sumire sniffled.

They offered her a handkerchief she took it and wiped her eyes, they waited for her to calm down and tell them "It's some Gryffindor's, they were making fun of me for helping someone in charms" "what did you do to help?" "I was helping them pronounce it since my dad says that it's important for casting spells they got part wrong, so I pointed it out and helped them how to say it so it would work, which the Hufflepuff appreciated and thanked me" "so the group of Gryffindor's made fun of that?" Sumire nodded "how did they make fun of you?" Fred asked. Sumire sniffled again "well they were saying I'm a teacher's pet, I'm not trying to be and then about how to pronounce the spell, and also saying how I shouldn't help another in class and focus on my work, but I wanted to help id done the spell and it shows that I can remember what I've learnt"

The twins nodded and hugged her "so know any of the idiots who did that?" Fred asked Sumire nodded "yes, I don't know some names but one was Potter another a girl who's with him, I heard her names Hermione another was I think his names Dudley, and one your brother the others I don't know" "oh little Ronnie kins has been bullying, eh? mum won't like that, but well handle it" George said. "What! you don't have to" Sumire said "ah but we do," the twins said together. "And with that Hermione person maybe she feels intimidated, that she was seen as the best in her old school and wants to be that here, but you're beating her so she sees you as an enemy," Fred said. Sumire hadn't thought of that "maybe?" they let Sumire wash her face and took her to potions class. Glad they were able to help her calm down, but oh Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Dudley Dursley were going to be their new test subjects for pranks.
