Everyone was shocked. No one expected a Potter to be a Ravenclaw. Everyone thought she was a destined Gryffindor. Rosie nervously stood up and took a seat at the Ravenclaw table.

"Welcome to Ravenclaw." A familiar voice said. Rosie turned around to inspect the source.

"Darren! You're Ravenclaw?" Rosie said excitedly.

"Yeah, so is Will! He's sitting over there." Will waved to Rosie and Darren.

"That's amazing! At least I'm not alone in this house." Rosie smiled. Maybe being a Ravenclaw wouldn't be so bad, even though she'd be in a separate house than her brother.

One of the prefects, Rosie didn't catch her name, led the first years to a tall tower. After being told how to get in, they were given a tour of the common room. There was a studying area, with couches, desks, chairs, and a roaring fire. In the resting area was several couches, and another fire. Windows circling the tower showed an almost 360 degree view of the castle below them.

"Boys dormitories are down those stairs, girls are up those." The prefect said.

"Well," Rosie said to Darren and Will. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"So you tomorrow!" Will said happily.

"Goodnight." Darren said, obviously very tried.

Rosie found her dormitory, she was sharing with three other girls who hadn't gotten there yet. So Rosie just quietly began unpacking. She placed a picture of her mum and dad on her night table. She smiled, wondering what advice they would have given her if they were still alive. Would they have been angry that she wasn't a Gryffindor? Or would they be proud to have a Ravenclaw? As she was thinking this, a girl came into the room.

"Hello!" She said. "My name Sarah. I'll be living in here."

"Oh hello, my name is Rose, but you can call me Rosie."

"Oh! You're the Potter girl! You should introduce me to your brother, I have so many questions for him. I read about him the entire ride down here! I heard our first paper in History of Magic has to be about a famous witch or wizard, and I've already starting drafting one about Harry. Do you think you could help me meet him so I can discuss some topics with him?"

"I might not be the best person to reach him at the moment."

"What? Why?"

"He and I aren't on very good terms right now."

"Oh. Sorry." Sarah awkwardly walked to her bed, and began unpacking. Since the other two girls hasn't come in yet, and there wasn't much conversation to be made with Sarah, Rosie decided to go to sleep. She heard the other two girls come in one by one later that night, but didn't get up to talk to them.

The next morning was the first day of classes. Rosie met up with Darren and Will to walk to the Great Hall together for breakfast.

"So who are your dorm-mates?" Will asked.

"I haven't met two of them yet." Rosie explained. "But one girl is named Sarah. She seems nice, but I have a feeling she'll only be my friend because of my brother."

"That's a shame." Darren said. "We didn't talk much to the other two boys in our dormitory either."

"I think one is named Roman." Will pointed out. He turned to walk backwards so he could face Darren and Rosie. "I have a feeling we'll be spending most of our time in the common room tho-"

Will's speech was cut short, because he and another boy had bumped into each other. He had platinum blonde hair, and was wearing Slytherin robes.

"Sorry!" Will said.

"Watch where you're going, stupid first year." The boy said. He then noticed Rosie. "Oh great. The other Potter."

"You must me Draco Malfoy." Rosie looked irritated. "I heard all about you from my brother."

"Ah, I'm flattered. Potter cares enough to tell his pathetic little sister about me." Draco said sarcastically.

"Back off Malfoy." Darren said.

"What are you gonna do about it?" Draco taunted the three.

"Leave them alone Malfoy." Harry came up behind Draco, who turned around to face Harry.

"Oh how sweet. Baby Potter being saved by big boy Potter." Draco laughed. "You're not worth my time." He stormed away, into the Great Hall.

"Thanks Harry. You weren't kidding, he is a jerk." Rosie smiled at her brother. "Do you want to grab breakfast with Darren, Will, and me?"

"Honestly Rosie, I only came up to you because I didn't want Malfoy to think he has any control. He already thinks he has an advantage because I passed out o. The train here."

"You passed out on the train?"

"Yes, I was attacked by a dementor." Rosie remembered Professor Dumbledore telling the students last night that dementors were being added to the security level since the mass murderer Sirius Black was on the lose.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because it was none of your business. Now I'm going to go hang out with my friends. Please leave me alone." Harry walked into the Great Hall to join his friends.

"Rosie, are you ok?" Darren put his hand on her shoulder. Rosie turned to reveal tears swelling in her eyes.

"I'm fine. I just thought when I came here, Harry would care about me more. I was wrong though." Tears started dripping down Rosie's cheek.

The boys pulled her into a big group hug.
