Alright so, Fleur is probably the most underrated character of the whole Harry Potter Universe.

Why, you ask?

Well, simple. People have a very limited mindset on how Fleur's character goes.

Everyone, nearly everyone, believes that Fleur was one of those females who care only about beauty, comfort and are stereotypical gold diggers who depend on a man too much and can not fend for themselves in the outer world.

Trust me, that generation has long past and died out as well.

And Fleur is nothing like those woman from the 1800s. Accept this fact. 

The Goblet of Fire chose her from the whole population of Beuxbatons Academy to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, which logically means that she was more than just capable to participate in such a deadly tournament.

Remember, the Goblet makes no mistakes while choosing students on the basis of their potential.

And she was the only female candidate in the tournament.

She's not a damsel in distress, guys. 

She's just as badass as Hermione or Ginny but never really got the chance to show it due to circumstances.

And honestly, Bill Weasley is not the kind of person who would fall in love with a stereotypical delicate girl persona.

No way.

People stating that Bill deserves better than her can keep their opinions to themselves (not meaning to be rude and all) but he f*cking married a woman who participated and survived the Triwizard Tournament and who battled a dragon on her own.

Is this something gold-diggers / damsels in distress do everyday? Nope.

People saying that she was too full of herself and too conscious of her beauty are not entirely wrong, but seriously that doesn't make her a bitch.

Fleur was just not able to express herself clearly because English wasn't her native language. She was not proficient enough in it. That doesn't mean you're going to take whatever she says and scan it under a microscope then deem her guilty of being proud / bitchy / selfish etc.

And then I know you people take it to heart when she had stated that she was beautiful enough for both Bill and herself (after the Greyback incident). But come on, folks, she just has a blunt nature and she states things without thinking twice and it all comes out wrong at times. But consider this fact that she loved Bill such a lot that she didn't change her decision. If she had been too beauty loving than she would have left him to go find a more handsome man.

But she didn't.

She married Bill despite everything and fought alongside him against Voldemort till the very end.

She was awarded Medals of Bravery by both the French and the British Ministries of Magic for her participation in the Battle of Hogwarts.  

Fleur Delacour is a Queen, okay? And don't you dare disrespect her.
