Or rather read "Best Friends" as Partners In Crime.

After James and Sirius, in my opinion the best dying for friendship is the Scorpius and Albus friendship.

I mean you can totally see how perfect they are with each other. Albus being a lil smol bean who feels slightly out of place since he's a Slytherin Potter. And then there's Scorp who's a nerdy geek despite being a Malfoy.

And no I do not ship them in the way people ship Drarry. I think they're just as cute as can be in just staying friends.

Why is it that in fanfics every two people who get along well with each other and are close, end up as romantically involved? Nothing against the whole LGBTQ concept, but please writers why can't we have a good fanfic that centers on friendship or rather platonic relationships?

Anyhow, this is not what I was going to talk about. So yeah, getting along...

Imagine after all that time travel episode, the Trolley Witch at the Hogwarts Express still clearly remembers that these two boys tried to get off the Hogwarts Express and also succeeded. Imagine her coming to their cabin and being like:

"Sweets from the trolley, dears? Pumpkin Pasties, Chocolate Frogs? Or do you wish to escape from the train again? In that case let me tell you that I won't be taking the bait. Have been sharpening my claws quite well lately."

Imagine Albus standing up for Scorpius when people refer to him as Voldy's spawn.

Imagine them both staying up late at night pondering over all the books Scorp has and Albus pinpointing which one is his favorite.

Imagine them going over to Hagrid for tea and chatting up a bit with Firenze.

Imagine Scorpius having a pet ferret (IDK if they're allowed at Hogwarts but I'm pretty sure I saw it in the cage Scorp carried back in the Deathly Hallows epilogue) and Al relating the whole tale of Uncle Ron's pet Scabbers.

And I know I quite suck at the whole Imagining part tonight, since I don't know, guess I'm tired? So basically they are just the best of the best close friends or partners in crime.

Somehow, chapter reached the ending.
