Chapter 7: The Match Disaster

I do not own the underlined passages, it's from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. That being said, I do not own Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Underlined - Quotes from the book

After the troll disaster, sometimes Harry would travel to Madam Poppy's office just to learn from her and ask if he could possibly have a class period with her during his third year and forth. She was ecstatic and told him that until then, she'll make a lesson plan and talk to Headmistress McGonagall.

Also something else that came from the Troll incident, was the fact that the Weasley Twins joined their history study group after trying to apologize to Hermione on their brothers behave.

She told them no, that unless Ron himself tells her that they had nothing to be sorry about and that she didn't hold it against their family, but rather Ron who had no filter for his mouth.

And that was how Harry became friends with the Twins, they were a breath of fresh air for him actually. Their pranks, while can be sometimes a bit teetering on mean, were funny.

They didn't specifically prank one house either, they pranked all the houses and the teachers and Harry always laughed when he got pranked (his hair got dyed green for a week (it was suppose to last the day but Harry rather liked the green hair spiked look), then there was the time his hair turned into snakes, or that book tried to eat him once).

It was refreshing for Harry because some of his friends can be really studious and for a person where magic came naturally and he rarely had to study much, it was nice to just hang with people who were as relaxed as him.

In fact, if he felt that the twins might've gone too far with a prank, then he pranked them back. And it started a small prank war between them (Harry made sure it didn't get too drastic), mostly for Draco's sake who just looked at Harry like he was insane when he got pranked and was relaxed about it.

It was because he was friends with both Slytherin and the twins that he begrudgingly went to the Quidditch match, but after watching a few seconds of it. Starting to really enjoy it because it mixed a lot of the common Muggle sports together.

Harry saw some Rugby, Futbol, and Basketball mix of the game and loved it. They were hit favorite games that he loved to play with his dad for fun (he was actually on the Futbol team at his Muggle school before Hogwarts).

Slytherin was just in the league a bit as Harry watched the new Gryffindor seeker try to find the golden snitch and failing (Harry spotted it by the stands very easily after a few minutes of looking and was surprised neither Seeker saw it).

Harry had stood up with his friends cheering on Slytherin who made another goal when he felt the air change around him.

He and his friends had front row seats and Harry instantly felt his feet being pulled toward the railing.

"Draco!" Harry shouted in surprised as his legs dragged him toward the railings.

"Harry!" Draco looked confused but worried as he grabbed Harry's hand trying to stop him from being pulled under the two bar rails.

"I think I'm being cursed," Harry told the boy as his feet started to slip over the edge of the railings.

Another strong jerk and suddenly his feet weren't the only things dangling over the edge, but rather his entire body but his hands that grabbed the railings above him.

"Harry!" Neville shouted in surprised this time and ushered Daphne to get a teacher.

Harry started to feel the magic working stronger and clenched his teeth. The muscles in his arm arguing with how much work they were doing.

He did yelp when the magic started to clash with another one that was trying to help him get his footing along the side of the stadium.

It seemed they drew a crowd because without the whistle being blown, both teams paused and tried to go toward the first year but were stopped by some sort of barrier.

They started to pound it and Harry looked up to see Draco pounding on a barrier on his side too. Clenching his teeth and the constant pulling from his legs that jerked from either being pulled or not.

Harry tried to think about what he should do, he was about to attempt to grab his wand or just use wandless magic that would expose his ability.

When a shine glinted at him from underneath his robes. Seeing the Drachma that was resting against his chest against a string that his dad insisted on making a portkey in case of emergency.

Feeling happy with his dad's need for emergencies, Harry clenched his teeth and removed a hand from the railing.

He paused for a seconds as his arm screamed in pain before fumbling with the necklace around his neck and said the password to activate the Drachma portkey.

"There's no place like home!" Harry shouted through clenched teeth and let the magic wash over him to teleport him back home.

Letting the hook feeling take him, Harry collapsed as soon as his feet touched the floor. Instantly he heard someone running toward him and looked up to see his dad's worried face.

"What happened?" Percy demanded as he looked over his son for injuries, other than seeing exhaustion that was.

"Someone tried to kill me," Harry responded as he calculated the fall depth, it really should've killed him especially with how hard he was being tugged toward the ground.

Harry watched as his dad had a look of absolute fury on his face before it went back to being worried. "Come, rest while I Floo Lucius. Do you want to go back to Hogwarts?" Percy asked kindly and picked up his son.

His son who was too tired to argue about being picked up, all he really knew was that a hot relaxing bath also sounded really good for his overused muscles.

"Yeah, all my friends are there. I'd like to go back dad," Harry told his unhappy, worried father.

Percy looked like he wished his son hadn't said that, because he understood why his son wanted to go back but wished that he didn't want to.

"Alright, I'm going to get Lucius. You're not going to return until there's been an investigation through all the professors," Percy declared as he set his son on his Pegasus bed-set bed.

"How do you know it wasn't a student?" Harry questioned sleepily.

"I doubt any student would have enough magical power to do something that dark. I'll talk to Lucius about the possibilities of a seven year doing it. But I think it might've been one of the professors," Percy explained softly before kissing his son on his forehead. "Now rest, let me be a parents."

Harry smiled at his dad and let exhaustion overtake him.

Percy slowly stood up and walked out of his sons room (after closing the door so his son didn't accidentally eavesdrop) and made his way toward his fireplace.

After discovering that magical didn't know what cellphones were or how to use them, Percy reluctantly had Spitfire install a floo network for him in his living room.

Grabbing some of the floo powder, Percy told in a clear voice "Lucius Malfoy or Narcissa Malfoy in their Malfoy home."

Throwing the powder in and waiting for the green flames to connect to the other house, Percy slowly stuck his head through the fireplace.

"Percy? What can I help you with?" Lucius asked standing up from a chair behind a desk.

"Can I come through?" Percy asked and when he saw Lucius nod, stepped fully into the fireplace feeling awkward. "That is weird travel," he muttered to himself as he stepped out into Lucius home.

"What can I help you with?" Lucius asked looking slightly concerned because the two had no plans for the day and had something they were going to do this weekend concerning the aquarium.

"My son had just been attempted murder by someone in Hogwarts," Percy said bluntly and ran a hand through his messy hair.

Lucius instantly was paying attention and Percy noted the slight protective gleam in his eye like a family member would for a nephew.

"What happened?" Lucius asked, his voice slightly tight but he still looked relaxed and held together like he normally does.

"I didn't get much, Harry had to use his emergency Portkey I had made for him and he's resting in his bed right now. Dark magic was involved, Lucius! Someone wanted to kill my son inside Hogwarts. A school that is suppose to be safe for him!" Percy snarled at the end and started to pace the room.

He heard the Hogwarts was suppose to be safe, but how safe is it when his son was almost murdered!

"What do you need done?" Lucius asked quickly as he took in his friends angry red aura. Surprised at that, most of the time auras can be read if they had some sort of magic.

Last he checked, his friend was a Muggle that don't actually have any magic, even Squibs don't really have any sort of aura. Not as strong as his friend at least!

"Can you have all the professors investigated, their wands checked for any dark spell that fit the time of the Quidditch game. And if Seven Years can also be checked to make sure too. I will not send my son back to a school where someone has little trouble attempting to kill my son!" Percy was itching to yell at someone for being idiots and not checking professors background history!

Lucius' eyes sharpened and he nodded, understanding that if it could happen to Harry, it could also happen to Draco too. What would've happened if Draco had been hit with the dark spell and not Harry?

With that, Lucius called for his wife to attempt to calm their friend (thankful that someone else wasn't in their home for the day), before heading into the Floo Network to meet with the Board of Directors.

It took two days and Percy yelling at the Headmaster who had the gut to try and say that it was not necessary for such precautions.

Only, it made the Board want to do it even more and happily tested the Headmaster's wand and were shocked by the compulsion spells that were being used on it but seemed to have been failing.

While it wasn't enough to make an investigation with, it was noted down in his file and a mark was placed next to his name along with a warning of no more compulsion charms or he will be kicked from Hogwarts.

The teachers were all happy (but tense) to give their wands to the Aurors that came to test them. All but Professor Quarrel who Harry had also created another self-pace study group for the class.

All the while, Harry just sat back petting Spade while being very amused by his father's and his friends dads action.

After the two days and the Aurors confiscated Quarrel's wand for until after Christmas and gave him only one final warning (they couldn't fire the man unless Harry died which is ridiculous according to Percy).

So, reluctantly Percy let Harry return to Hogwarts through Flooing to Poppy's office before she gave him one final checkout before letting him return to his friends and classes.

What he was met with, was a disbelief Draco. "Harry, mate, your dad is scary when angry." Draco looked so scared.

"I know," Harry said proudly as he sat at the Slytherin table with his friends for lunch.

"He had that calm look but was yelling at the headmaster," Neville whispered to Harry. "In front of everyone during dinner!"

Blaise shivered beside him and suddenly shared the look with Draco. "I think everyone is terrified of him now mate. No one wants to be one your bad side," Blaise told Harry who was feeling prouder as the minutes passed.

"You think his angry-side is scary. Clearly you haven't seen my dad's over-protective mode. It outright kills the person he's trying to protect from the one who tries to hurt them," Harry told them happily and watched his friends shudder and return to their friends.

"My dad was terrified of him," Draco whispered out while looking at his hands like he didn't know what to do about that fact.

"Hell hath no wrath like a Hufflepuffs scorn," Harry chirped happily and watched his friends start to be terrified of his dad.

He loved ever second that they thought his kind, loving dad was this scary person. When in reality, he was actually a big worrywort baby that adored and spoiled Harry.
