Hera and Poseidon were in a fight that no one new of right before Sally met Paul. The reason Sally met Paul and fell in love is because as revenge, Hera made Poseidon's one true love marry someone else. She got Aphrodite in on it to make them fall in love by saying it will make percabeth sail faster. But the couple did end up falling in love they just got a little push from the gods.
