:: Chapter 40 :: Falling into Madness
Rivers, ponds, swamps-the ocean in its great magnitude. Each a body of water in varying stages of nature and mass. Percy thought of each one and had the idea for his lake to have an underwater house. Only he and Harry could get in. His lips twitched at the idea of Sirius floating in with a bubble head charm looking peeved that he wasn't invited, his hair wild and him trying to keep it from his face.
He chuckled a bit as he held his knees closer, ignoring how his body protested the position they've been in for hours-probably a couple days. Percy hadn't really been counting the days. He's either been indisposed to try-or focusing on an escape. If only the dam box didn't hurt him every time he tried to leave 5 feet from it.
He hadn't opened his eyes in what felt like forever, it was dark considering no light was causing him to see yellow-orange. He bit his lip as his body had finally healed-in a sense-apparently his body did need nutrients, Percy guessed his magic kept him from starving. It's not like he didn't ever stop eating to figure it out. He loved food to not stop. The only thing they feed him is a roll and water-on days he's good. He smirked with a chuffed laugh. Like ever. The only times he was good was when he was unable to move due to continuous torture.
If his ear could move, it would have when he heard the door open. He sighed when he turned his head-but his eyes widened as wide as the one staring at him was.

Poseidon looked over the child, the corporal form of a ghost sitting and glaring at him as he waited for his grandson to get back from his shopping for school. Recently inherited as well-boy was the wizarding world shocked to see a water Phoenix kin walking their streets and to be the boy-who-lived.
"So, you turned Percy into a god? By force?" Nico Di'Angelo spoke calmly even if his tone was frigid all at the same time.
"Yes..." The sea god was as awkward as a sea cucumber.
Nico smirked as he laughed coldly. "Oh how Annabeth will have field day with all of you when I tell her." His eyes flickering to the now green fire before going back to the gods.
"Gramps!" Harry said happily as he came out of the fireplace. Then stopped to stare at a kid ghost possibly younger then him.
"Whos he?" They both asked at the same time causing Poseidon to chuckle a little.
"This would be your Uncle-I'm sure Percy would have appointed all his close friends-especially his cousins as aunts and uncles. Harry, is Percy's son." He explains. "He will be helping find Percy."
"He's missing? Again?" Nico sighed as he rubbed his semi-see through nose. He hadn't let Poseidon get to his point, and was he laying for it now as his worry tripled.
Harry didn't like how he seemed to be mad at his dad for getting kidnapped so he glared. "My dad was sick when he was taken, he didn't do it on purpose."
His dark eyes-the only thing not see through stared up into the colored eyes of the boy Percy had adopted-no way did he have the boy at 16-or 17, maybe younger-but still. "Percy has always had a knack of getting right into the middle of things-I'm not mad Harry. I'm tired of having one of the best people in the world-always in danger or hurt. Honestly I'm pissed off at him." He pointed a finger to Poseidon who only shrugged when they looked at him. "Percy never wanted to be immortal. He didn't want to watch those he loved grow older as he stayed ageless. I'm even sure-considering all of us gave our life at the end of the second war-he would have to. But he was the one that ended it, he's the one who's had to live-and I'm sure he hoped to die peacefully one day and meet with us. But they took that chance away. Knowing him myself, I know-they should have known, Percy would get straight into another war with his uncanny luck."
He calmed-and really thought of what Nico had said. His eyes met his grandfathers-they had so much guilt in them he felt his throat tighten as his heart started to hurt in his chest. He sighed. "Well...he at least has all of us to get him back."
Nico smiled. "Optimism, did you get that from Percy?"
Blushing with embarrassment-he probably did. "Maybe. School starts tomorrow, so what's the plan?"
"He will be infiltrating Hogwarts with you on the train. And then he will follow Dumbldores every move. Secretly of course. As well as looking as to why some people haven't moved on in hundreds of years on his fathers behalf." Poseidon spoke up. It was simple but they hoped it would work.
Nico sighed. "Being put on quests even while dead."
"Right ghost boy, work never dies." Harry laughed.
The dark brown eyes looked at Harry as he wandered over to Poseidon. He watched the way Harry would rub his neck and blush appearing on his cheeks barely visible as he happily talked about something to the god. The way he stood, the way his hair was styled out of his face but still messy. How he held himself even while he grieved a missing father.
Nico knew for sure-that Harry was and will always be Percy's kid.
Sighing he leaned back, as he thought of what he should tell the others when he came back.

"I'm dying, that's it-final-I don't want to die, I have a kid I have to make sure stays alive to give me grandkids you know-I..." Percy was rambling as he layed there having seen the ghost of his past. Nico rolled his eyes and stepped forward at the state of Percy.
He didn't look good, dried gold laid around and on Percy, who was in all his naked glory-if he were in healthy standards. Wounds still trying to close seeping fresh gold ichor and trying to scab over. Others pink scars-and he could count out some ribs and see how skinny he was compared to the vision of seeing him on the battle field nearly 13 years ago.
"Dear gods Percy-we all die and you go crazy. Turning into a god-having a kid? Like what the hell? Then you go get yourself kidnapped." Nico finally spoke making Percy freeze as the ghost came around and looked at everything to see if he could do anything to get him out. "Why haven't you gotten out yet?"
"Your...not here to welcome me to Hades Realm?" Percy asked as he squinted his eyes.
"Hades would hate having you in his realm-though he would, possibly, enjoy having you as one of his citizens and have something over Poseidon. Even though you'd find something like a war there to huh?" Nico rolled his eyes and touched the glass, instead of going through it. He frowned. How was he supposed to get him out? Besides breaking what looked like a good 5inches of glass over his body.
Shaking his head to get his thoughts in order-Percy assumed the gods called him, and he was grateful. "You met Harry? Is he okay?" He asked as he uncurled flinching when his bones and muscles made protest.
"He's fine-his birth parents are making sure he's safe, while also looking for you-as well as the gods are looking. They didn't dare send a Demi-god. They know you'd get upset about it. Considering that's your domain. Which is good." Nico had never felt so chatty, he huffed as he tried again only to feel a zap through him that made him shake his dead ghostly hand.
"Right, the glass in enchanted by someone more powerful then Kronos." Percy spoke. "Magic gives me the crucio curse every time I try to break out, or pull this out."
Nicos eyes followed the tube and grimaces, what were they going to do with his godly blood? He hoped they drank it-as weird as that is-as they would die weeks after. Unable to handle a gods blood. "Then how do we get you out?"
He shrugs his thin shoulders. "I guess find out who's the person or entity who made the glass. Ask Chaos-he might know."
"I'm not leaving you here though....I'll go get that potion elf, he's been trying to stay in Dumbledores graces-make him believe they haven't remembered." Nico spoke as he floated to a wall. "I'll be right back."
"Okay, stay safe." Percy smiles. It was nice seeing Nico again-even if he was a ghost given a quest. He would need to speak to the gods about how Nico and the rest needed peace-not quests in the afterlife.
Percy wondered if Severus was angry at him at all still. They hadn't spoke since he gave that potion to him. Sighing, he leaned back against the glass and breathed in the metal smelling air. He wanted a bath...no a good swim in any water would be fine-clear water. Clean beautiful water...he stopped himself from day dreaming before he could drool.
Sooner then he expected someone walked in, Severus stood there with a shimmer to his looks-a glamour? Percy wasn't sure but he wasn't going to question it.
"Hey." He spoke and gave a wave inside his glass cell. What else was he supposed to do?

Harry sighed-he hadn't seen much of Nico-he hoped it was because he was doing something useful other then mess with the other ghosts in Hogwarts-Peeves was especially on good terms with him around. He wondered why-besides the whole he was the kid to Hades thing.
He wanted Draco-but they were acting as if they were enemies and he hated it. He just wanted to cozy up to the frost elf, he was always up to enjoy his cool touch as sometimes it got to hot for Harry now that he was a Phoenix kin. Oh how he loved knowing he could still be in water-and that he'd live forever. Draco as well. As Elves had longevity.
He bit his lip and looked over just in time to see Nicos head phase through a paintings stomach. Making it scream and run off into somewhere unseen.
Harry laughed when Nico gave him a smirk as he continued through the thick castle wall. "That was brilliant." He said as he put his book down from studying in the Hufflepuff dorms-Neville and Hermione had run off to get snacks just minutes ago.
"Good news Harry, we found Percy!" Nico said with a bright smile as he floated down to the now very frozen Harry Potter Jackson.
"Harry?"

"He's what? That-you guys did that to him?! Are you insane?!" The boy stood before the gods, his form barely corporal. Just having been roughly thrown into the throne room after his father called for him. He was beyond angry-he was furious as he glared down every single one. Enjoying when Artemis flinched even though he wasn't expecting her too.
It just showed how much guilt she had.
"Yes...." Zeus spoke before sighing.
And the Nico was blabbering away and giving them a talking-as what were they going to do? Kill him? He was already dead thank you very much.
The gods could do nothing as they were reprimanded. For all they knew-they deserved it.
