:: Chapter 11 :: Summer One
The moment school had ended, Harry was excited, he had invited all of his friends to come over when ever they wished. Giving out his address freely. To those he trusted, he though reluctantly let Snape have his address, for multiple reasons.
It was boring for the first week, or three. Because Harry wasn't allowed to use magic outside of school, except for when his dad was around to supervise. Otherwise he'd be practicing none stop. But considering his dad is swapped with paperwork as soon as they got home, nearly half his office was covered in magical and godly documents he had to sign or look over. Cause even he has a godly duty to do since he turned into one.
Mainly it was papers from camp, being the god that looks over it now. though Dionysus is still there to watch over the kids left or new. Though rare were there new kids into camp now a days. His other domains, remained even secret from Harry. Then there was the muggle, and wizardry ones. much less work considering he did most of it at school. He had some stores and aquariums in his name, so he had to look over those. Then the many lordships he himself had, and that Harry has. He would be passing all that paperwork to Harry when he was 17, magical majority and all.
Sighing Harry sat up from the couch he was laying on when he found himself getting the munchies from the boredom. Getting up he walked into the kitchen to look through the fridge, and inside was some soggy looking strawberries, probably unsuitable to eat from the looks of them. Lettuce, milk and juice along with condiments. So practically nothing he wanted to eat, he checked the pantry only finding cereal and dust. They hadn't gone shopping for the most part, and usually his Dad would make something appear or the ingredients.
Harry then decided to go see if he could bother his dad. He walked to his office and peaked in to see his father reading a letter, with an owl perched just behind his head, as if snooping at the letter but really just looking out at the window that was open. Obviously it needed a reply to take back. Walking in he smiled when his father didn't look up from reading and summoned a chair for him to sit on as usually he had them put away less for company, that never really came. Bronx was on his lap with Chester purring as it licked the tiny niffler clean.
"So you got a letter, from who?" he asked as he brought his knees to his chest.
"Hm? From Draco's father, Lucius, they want to meet us, as well as get to know who I am before they let Draco come over. Apparently he has been begging to come over ever since he got home." He chuckled as he summoned paper and a pen to write a reply. "I don't think he knows who we are considering the last time I saw Draco's parents, they seemed very taken back that I had you."
Harry's eyes lit up at the prospect of seeing Draco. "Really? When?" Totally ignoring the rest of what his Dad just said making the immortal roll his eyes.
"This weekend, if your room is clean." He peered over to see Harry already running out to clean his room making him chuckle and go back to the never ending paperwork it seemed. giving the letter to the owl along with a treat, and it was off.

Percy's eyes watched his son bounce in his steps slightly but he seemed to try to calm himself and stay 'unexcited' he smiled to himself as he patted his sons head and in turn a sleeping Angus nestled into his sons unruly hair. He was looking at his phone when someone said his name closly behind him making him jump. "Severus!" he yelped at the man with a glare as he fumbled for his phone nearly having dropped it from the scare.
The man only smirked as he helped righted his friend. "You seem particularly jumpy today." he drawled making Percy glower even more as he bushed and looked away.
"You snuck up on me, how is that jumpy?" he argued.
"Draco!" Harry waved happily at the silvenette that came out from behind Severus with a smirk on his face. "Its good to see you." Harry smiled brightly making the other boy slighly taken back at how happy he was.
"This is your friend Draco?" A sneering like voice said and Percy narrowed his eyes at the long haired man next to his shocked wife.
Draco turned to his father and nodded. "Yes, Harry and I have been in Slytherin together so we've grown close." that seemed to shock the man, he looked at Severus and the professor nodded back as if to say that what Draco said was true.
Percy ruffled Draco's hair making the boy shout indignantly at him. "Hm, not even saying hello to your favorite professor is rude." he fake pouted.
Blushing, he fixed his hair. "Good to see you to Professor Jackson." he looked away when Percy stared down at him for being so formal, before shrugging it off and turning to the boys parents.
"Hello, I'm Perseus Jackson, Harry's father as well as a teacher at school. We met once before in Gringotts. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He smiled charmingly at them and seemed to make Severus squint his eyes at him for a second. "What would we like to do today to get started?"
"Dad," Harry got his dads attention, "Can we get something to eat then go to that trinket store we saw last year?" He asks and it seemed Percy nodded in consent, and before heading for somewhere to eat-he asked if the rest were up for it.
It seemed they were and they were off to find themselves in a fancy wizard restaurant, eating and talking. Lucius even loosened up a bit with Percy's charm.
While the kids ran off to look around the charmed trinket shop, the adults stayed together.
"So Percy, if I may ask, how did you get custody of Harry?" Narcissa asked as she eyed a few pieces of jewelry, her husband taking note, but mainly listening in.
"Well, Harry found me to be honest, in a way, we both found each other when we needed to the most considering our past circumstances. He's the reason why I still-although briefly-talk to my father and his family. He was 7 when I found him at a 24/7 bakery that had some blue cookies." He picked up a form that seemed to twirl and dance for no other reason but for fun he presumed. "Harry had runaway, although also was kicked form his relatives home, muggles."
"But, wait the stories said he went to a pure blood family and was spoiled.." Narcissa spoke shocked as she stopped staring to look at Percy.
"Do you really think anyone of those writers knew what truly happened that night?" She shook her head. "Course not, only 4 people know, and three are dead and one was only a baby. Protected by the ones that loved him dearly enough to sacrifice their lives. I would have done the same for him...and many others that deserve to live." sighing he set the fork down to look her in the eyes. "Whatever prejudice you have against my son for being a savior, that even he doesnt want to be, needs to end. All he wants is his family, and his friends. He wants to be happy. Because for 6 years, he wasn't with any of that."
Severus looks over at Harry laughing happily when a nerf gun shot a bullet over at Draco scaring the boy, "What did the muggles do?" his gut twisted painfully and he wasn't sure the exact reason as there were several, and one nagging on him for some reason, at the back of his mind.
His bright eyes looked up at his before staring at Harry as well. "Lily's sister hates magic, so did her husband and son. He grew up in a cupboard, forced to cook, and clean and tend to a garden. They beat him for anything, even if it wasn't his fault. If I could, I would have killed the mortals that dared hurt my baby, but...im forbidden to do so..." He looked away as he remembered the letters from the fates telling him they'd get their due in time but they kept sending it to him to make sure he didn't mess with any more of their plans, though they already gave up on a lot of plans concerning him and whoever crossed his path.
The three adults behind Percy seemed to feel sick, for a lot of reasons, not only finding out about Harry's life before Percy-but for thinking such things about the 11 year old boy, they weren't sure what to do or say.
"But look at him...He's happy and I want to keep it that way for as long as I can." He smiled at them before walking off for them to stew in their thoughts, he stopped harry from touching a sword that had a dangerous charm to light on fire before either boy got hurt and started to scold them.
That day, Severus learned that Harry was much more like Lily, but also not, honestly he felt that Harry was a lot like Percy. For that he felt happy for some reason to know that. The Malfoy's seemed to start to like Percy, and their recent thoughts about Harry were that yes, he didn't need the dark lords gaze on his back, but to live freely with those he cared about.
