(MARY'S POV)

I was running as fast as I could. I needed to get to Peter and Paris before Harry could. I didn't know how fast and how far I had run before I needed to catch my breath. I was scared, confused and terrified. Harry Osborn was out and running free. This man was dangerous and he would kill again just like he killed Gwen. I now had tears streaming down my face. Once I had calmed down and caught my breath I took a moment to observe my surroundings. I noticed that I was close to Peter's and Paris apartment. I decided to continue walking the short distance to where Peter and Paris were.

I then heard screaming and shouting. When I turned around my breath got stuck in my mouth for a good long minute. I saw what was once Harry Osborn. No,what I saw was a monster. I turned and saw Green Goblin.

He looked angry. I was so shocked that I didn't see him lung at me. I managed to avoid his attack and scream as loud as I possibly could. "MARY!" I turned and saw Paris.

His attention then shifted from me to Paris. And judging by the look in his eyes he looked p:*+$d off. Paris didn't notice Harry was going after her until he grabbed her and flew off. Peter came out and saw Paris being taken by Harry. Harry turned to look at me and Peter. "If you want even the slight chance at seeing her alive again then meet me at the tower where it all started." He then flew off. "PARIS!!"

(PETER'S POV)

I screamed in pain as I watched Harry fly off with Paris in his arms. I then turned to Mary. "What happened." My voice was cracking and my tears were running down my face. Mary walked up to me and held my face in her hands.

"Peter look at me please. As much as we are both scared right now. We both have to go and save her." I was confused for a moment. "What do you mean we. Mary you don't have any powers." That is when she gave me a small smile. "Peter, there is something that I haven't told you or Paris about yet." She then leaned towards my ear and whispered something in my ear. When she was done I was shocked.

"Wow how long have you been keeping that a secret?" "A long time Peter." She looked a little embarrassed. "Peter we have to go save Paris before it is too late." I nodded and then went back inside to go and put my spider suit on. When I was finished I went back towards Mary. "Are you ready." I looked at Mary and nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be." We then looked at each other before going after Harry and to try and save Paris before it was too late.
