Go Karting

You were woken up by the sound of someone shouting "Sunday, Funday!" outside your bedroom door. It wasn't much of a mystery to you who was shouting and disturbing your precious sleep because with Tom being back for a week and you and Harry being off work for the next two days, your whole Squad was finally back together and ready to fuck shit up.

Moving in with Harrison had been one of your better decision in life because he would probably win an award for the best roommate that there is - or maybe not, but considering the little crush you had on him and the benefits of getting to spend a lot of time with him, definitely put him up on list of the greatest roommates on earth.

It had never been realistic for you that you would someday be able to call Spider-Man one of your mates, but you had been working on the Far From Home Set and got to spent some time with Harry and it turned out that you got along pretty well, which kind of was also the start of your friendship with his best mates and, obviously star of the movie and brother, Tom.

Harrison hadn't been on the set that often since he was travelling quite often because of his own career, but he still remembers the first time he had seen you. You were too busy working to notice him staring at you for probably five seconds too long.

Harrison was intrigued by you. Not because of anything you had done, but because of the little spark he had felt when Harry first introduced him to you. The boy was never one to "feel something" that easily and that quick, but something about you was different - something about you made him come back to set a lot more than he was supposed to.

Tom had noticed your mutual attraction to each other and he had way too much fun in playing matchmaker for his friends, so he made the two of you his new mission. The brunette thought it would be easy since the attraction and the little crushes were already there, but boy, was he wrong. Either of you were too scared to make your move and neither of you showed the other one signals that you wanted to be more than just friends.

Tom had his plan and much to his annoyance, it seemed to be doomed to fail because neither Harrison nor you had the balls to make their move, so the boy knew he needed a masterplan - and probably more than his one-man-team, so he brought in no other than the whole Squad, consisting of his brothers Harry and Sam, and one of his best mates, Tuwaine.

Two months after filming, the lease for your apartment ran out which made it a lot easier for Tom to play Cupid. Offering you a room in his house was his ultimate move to get you and Harrison together, because first of all, he'd be there to play Cupid 24/7 and maybe Harrison would finally grow a pair during a cozy Thursday Evening or maybe a sleepy Monday Morning.

Jokes were on Tom, because it turned out that you still hadn't gotten together four months later. Your crush on Harrison was only getting bigger and bigger and Harrison's crush on you had probably already reached its high point, but how awkward would it be for him to ask his roommate out? There would be no way to get back to where you were if you said no and one of you would have to move out, which was the last thing the blonde wanted.

"Sunday Funday, (Y/N)!" Another shout echoed through the house as you groaned and pulled your pillow over your head.

It was late when you went to bed last night, because Harry had insisted on finishing the game of Monopoly before any of you were allowed to go to bed. You came to a point were Harrison just dramatically threw his money at you and got up to go to bed, but not before telling Harry to go fuck himself after he had called him lame for being tired - at 3am.

"(Y/N)!" The person behind all that shouting was now knocking on your bedroom door in the hope of finally getting you to get up.

"Piss off, Harrison." You groaned, already knowing that he'd be dragging you out of bed within the next thirty seconds.

"(Y/N), how many times do I have to tell you that Sunday is Funday until you get out of bed?" You hear Harrison laugh, now from inside your room as you still had your head buried underneath your pillow.

Next thing you felt was another body launching himself on top of you, knocking the air out of your lungs.

"I'm going to fucking poison your food if you don't get off me."

"I'll take the chance." Harrison laughed, far too close for your liking.

You had the kind of friendship where everyone knew there was more than just friendship but no one knew if you were actually dating or not. It wasn't unusual for you to somewhere down the line end up cuddled up in Harrison's arms.

"What time is it?" You mumbled as your head appeared from underneath the pillow.

"Summertime." Harrison chuckled, making you feel incredibly proud that he had made it his own habit to finish that High School Musical 2 line after you made him watch it after he got confused why you answered 'Summertime' when it was clearly snowing outside, "It's 10am and everyone is up except for you, Love."

"Go have fun with yourselves, I need more sleep." You whined but Harrison ended up wrapping his arms around you and nestled his face in your hair, making this position so much more comfortable than it had felt before.

"Oi, Lovebirds, Sunday Funday!" You heard Harry shout, making you assume that Harrison had left the door to your bedroom wide open.

"Get your boyfriend off me and I might participate in your stupid Funday."

"Don't be jealous, he likes you more than me, promise." Harry chuckled before you could hear him walk away again.

"No I don't!" Harrison protested not realising how that sounded, "Wait, that came out wrong."

"Don't worry, I know I can't compete with Harry." You chuckled as you tried to wiggle your way out of Harrison's embrace to finally get ready for the day since there was no way you were getting back to sleep.

"I was just getting comfy." Harrison complained as his grip around your middle tightened.

"Get up or Sunday Funday is history, Sweetie." You said, making Harrison finally get off you.

"Fine, don't appreciate my affection then, got the message." The boy pouted as you rolled your eyes before getting up to grab some clothes for the day.

It took another hour for every who allegedly was already ready for the day to get ready and assembled in your living room which made you shoot Harrison two or three death glares. After that, it took you another thirty minutes to decide what you were going to do today.

With Tuwaine, Paddy and you voting for Go Karting and Tom, Harry and Sam voting for Topgolf, there was no other way than to give Harrison the deciding vote, which made Harry groan, because he knew they had already lost.

"I can't believe we gave Harrison the deciding vote. That's unfair. He would've chosen to get eaten by a shark if (Y/N) wanted to do it. That's stupid." Harry complained on the drive to the Go Kart track.

Sam and Paddy were driving with Tom while Tuwaine and Harry had decided to join you and Harrison, mostly because Harry had decided to harass Harrison for the whole twenty minute drive and Tuwaine enjoyed it way too much to watch it go down.

"If it meant that I would've chosen the opposite option than you did, then yes, I would've loved to see a shark bite off my lovely legs." Harrison fired back as you bit your lip, trying to hold back your laugh since you didn't want to give Harrison the satisfaction of making him think he's funny.

By the time you had reached the Go Kart Track, you and Tuwaine got out of the car with an eye roll as H Squared were still lovingly arguing with each other. The other three decided to not ask any questions as you just shook your head at them before making your way inside the Track.

It didn't take long for all of you to get changed into your overalls and you found yourselves waiting for the group in front of you to finish the last minute of their race

Ever since Harrison had walked out of the boys dressing room in his overall, you couldn't stop staring at him. He looked amazing and you would be lying if you said that you weren't even more attracted to him - but it wasn't any different to Harrison, because seeing you in your overall almost made his mouth drop.

You were talking to Paddy who was telling you about how he was going to definitely destroy Sam and Harry and how his goal was to finally beat Tom in a race when you felt a pair of arms wrap around you, pulling you into someone's chest.

"I think we all know who is going to win, Patrick." Harrison said as you felt yourself lean into his touch.

"Yeah, it's going to be (Y/N)." Paddy grinned as you raised your fist for a fistbump.

"Oi, Paddy! Don't betray your family like that." Tom shouted just as the safety instructor made their way over to the seven of you.

Harrison didn't let go of you while you listened to the safety instructions and if it wasn't for you kind of needing to put on your helmets, he wouldn't have let you go for another hour.

"Good Luck. You'll need it." He grinned at you as you made your way over to your karts.

"My only goal is to beat Harry to be honest." You chuckled as you heard Harry shout at you, telling you that he would definitely destroy you.

Your race consisted of a 10 minute Qualifying for positions and a 30 minute race. You were doing great after you had some trouble starting off right, but you could see that Tom was currently holding pole position with Harry coming in second and Paddy coming in third, which made you bring out your competitive side.

There was no way you were going to lose to Harry, which was probably the same thoughts that shot through Harrison head because the next time you saw the board, Tom was still getting the pole position but Harrison was now coming in second, which stayed this way until the Qualifying ended.

Tom managed to get pole position with Harrison coming in 2nd, followed by Harry in 3rd, you in 4th, Paddy in 5th, Tuwaine in 6th and Sam in 7th place.

Your only goal was to overtake Harry to somehow make it onto the podium but you knew that a lot could happen during a 30 minute race. Tom started off as you expected and managed to put some space between Harrison and him, but Harry was quick to catch up. The two of them were racing for the second place as if their life depended on it, which made it easy for you to catch up to them.

With only a minute left on the timer, there was no way that any of you were overtaking Tom, but you had somehow managed to overtake Harry who was still closing in from behind while you tried your best to get past Harrison in front of you who made it almost impossible by driving like a fucking asshole.

Harrison's constant swerving and braking and speeding and swerving and braking and speeding again drove you crazy which is why you almost punched him after getting out of the go kart after your last round.

"Oh, she is not happy with you, mate." You could hear Harry laugh as you approached Harrison, ready to throw fists.

Everyone knew you were competitive and everyone knew how much you hated losing, especially to Harrison when he was being an idiot.

"You little shit! You know I was faster than you! But your little bitchass was too proud to let me pass you!" You ranted as you came to an halt in front of the boy who had a grin plastered across his face which really did not help the situation.

"I'm sorry? I can't hear you from down there on third place." Harrison grinned as he got on the second place spot on the podium.

"He's got a death wish." Sam laughed as your friends were watching the scene unfold in front of them.

"I'll fucking rip your head off Osterfield." You said as you joined him on his place on the podium, "You know I was faster and that you were being a little shit and that you are just a sore loser becau-" You were far from done with you rant, but the fact that Harrison had pulled you in for a kiss kind of stopped you from continuing.

Harrison's lips were rough and at the same time soft against your own. It took you a while to understand what was happening, but once you did, your hands found their way into the soft curls on the back of his neck, pulling him even closer than physically possible.

"Just shut up, (Y/N)." Harrison mumbled as you parted ways for air.

"I'm not done with this rant, Harrison."

"I think you are, Love." The boy grinned before you felt him place another soft peck in your lips, "Also you kind of need to get on your spot all the way down there, loser."

"I'm going to murder you." You squinted your eyes at him before getting onto the spot for the third place as Tom took his place at the top.

"I can't believe you didn't let me play matchmaker, that is so fucking rude of you. I had this whole thing planned already, but no, this stupid kid goes and ruins everything with his clichee 'I'm going to kiss you to shut you up'-story. That is so lame." Tom pouted as he looked back and forth between the two of you after you had gotten your medals for the race.

"I'm sorry? I guess? But have you seen (Y/N) in that overall?" Harrison laughed as he sent you a quick wink, making your face heat up more than it was supposed to.

"Disgusting." Harry groaned before Harrison threw his silver medal in the boy's direction, "Twat."

"What do you say, Love? Are we going to ditch these losers and turn this Funday into a .. Date-Day?" Harrison smiled as you as he pulled you closer to him.

"Technically I don't count as a loser, because I beat both of you, y'know?" Tom chimed in, "But I get what you were trying to say and you have my blessing."

"You are so lame, Harrison." You smiled at the boy in front of you - the boy who had raced his way to first place in your heart a long time ago and the boy who was currently pulling you in for another kiss while your friends were making gagging sounds which you lovingly ignored.
