Drunken Jealousy
What do you do if the most annoying fuckboy you have ever crossed paths with asks you to go partying with him and his famous friend?
Obviously, you say yes,
- because he is also your best friend.
Harrison Osterfield was your cliché fuckboy. His life consisted of lots of alcohol, lots of sleeping around, but also of lots of spending time with you if he wasn't living his other life. You couldn't blame him for hooking up with all those girls, the blonde boy looked like he stepped straight out of a photoshoot, but you would be lying if you said it didn't annoy you that he was currently too busy chatting up a random girl rather than to be spending time with you.
The two of you hadn't seen each other for more than three weeks, but Harrison had finally gotten home from filming in Italy and his best friend, Tom, was on a break from filming Spider-Man, so the two of them were naturally drawn to London's nightlife. You were used to tagging along, but mostly Tom went home early because of his busy schedule and Harrison went home with someone else, leaving you to down a few shots by yourself before making your way home alone.
You sometimes wondered why you were keeping up with the boy's daily bullshit rather than to just ignore his lifestyle and the boy himself. It wasn't unusual for him to show up at your place in the middle of the night, drunk off his ass, asking if he could crash at your place or sometimes he even called you to pick him up from his last one night stand's place. Of course, it annoyed you, but that's what best friends do, right?
"You're too beautiful to be lost in such deep thoughts on a Saturday night." You were ripped out of your thoughts by a stranger approaching the empty space next to you. His black hair and dark brown eyes made him look like the complete opposite of your best friend.
"W-What?" You asked as you turned your body to face the man that so suddenly appeared next to you.
"Boy troubles?" He laughed as he sat down next to you. There was no point in denying that he was absolutely gorgeous.
"There has to be a boy in the first place for me to have boy troubles." You laughed.
"Looks like it is my lucky day, then. I'm James." He smiled as he held out his hand to introduce himself to you.
"(Y/N)."
Not seeing the looks Harrison sent you from across the room, you kept the conversation with James going. He was a nice guy, but being out with Harrison that much, you knew that it was all a game to him. He wasn't any different from your best friend, James was looking for a fun night and nothing more - but something told you to just roll with it for once in your life.
"Who's this guy? And why do you look like you're about to punch the shit out of him?" Tom laughed when he saw Harrison eyeing the guy next to you like he was going to regret the minute he started talking to you.
"Maybe, because I'm currently debating on whether or not to rip his head off or not." Harrison growled when he saw the guy brush a strand of hair behind your ear.
"Don't fuck this up for (Y/N), mate. She deserves some fun once in a while." Tom laughed, patting his friends shoulder.
"Yeah, but not with him."
"Is there something you need to tell me?" Tom grinned, realizing that Harrison wasn't that pissed solely because he was looking out for his best friend. This was jealousy, something Tom had never seen coming from Harrison before.
"Why can't she just go after the decent guys?"
"Define decent guys?"
"Guys that don't make me want to rip their heads of." Harrison groaned as he downed another shot, the girl next to him long gone.
Somehow, you had managed to ruin his game for the night without even trying. The boy couldn't concentrate on chatting up this girl whilst you were talking to that guy. He had never seen you show any interest in someone before, so this was new. Seeing you flirt and seeing you laugh along to someone else than him made the blue eyed boy want to hit something - or someone
"I swear, if you go over there and ruin this, I'll punch the shit out of you." Tom said, sitting Harrison back down on his seat next to him.
"He doesn't deserve her."
"You don't even fucking know that guy, Haz."
"He still doesn't deserve her." Harrison shrugged, his hand forming a fist when he saw James lean in. To his surprise, you didn't look like you were bothered about the fact that this guy was seconds away from kissing you.
"And who deserves her?" Tom laughed, already knowing Harrison's answer.
"No one." Harrison said, making Tom burst out in laughter.
"Mate, you're so jealous, this is ridiculous coming from someone who never even tried to make a move on her."
"What do you mean?" He didn't think about you like that, right? There was no way he was jealous? Harrison Osterfield wasn't the guy to get jealous - was he?
"How do I break it to you, man. I can't believe I haven't noticed how whipped she has you. All those cheap girls and one night stands and yet, she somehow managed to tie you down without even trying." Tom grinned at his best friend who's eyes went wide.
He wasn't whipped, right? Harrison Osterfield didn't do feelings and he definitely didn't want to be tied down, right?
"Fuck off." The blonde boy shook his head as he downed his drink. The goal for the night was now to get drunk off his mind to the point where he wouldn't be bothered by you having another man's tongue down your throat.
James was a great kisser and he seemed to be a great guy, but something or more like someone in the back of your mind kept you from accepting the boy's offer to take this back to his place. Hiding his disappointment pretty well, he asked you if you were going to stay in the club or if you were down to at least share a taxi to both of your places.
Excusing yourself to tell Harrison and Tom that you were leaving for the night, you found the two of them drunk off their asses at the spot you saw them last hours ago. To your surprise there were no girls surrounding them. Harrison seemed off when you approached them. Maybe it was just really unusual for you to see him without some random girl in his lap.
"I'm going to leave for the night, are you staying?" You asked when you reached them.
"(Y/N)!" Harrison grinned at you as his hands reached out for you to pull you into his lap.
"How drunk are you?" You laughed as the boy wrapped his arms around you, leaving soft kisses on your shoulder.
"Just a tiny bit." He giggled.
"He's absolutely smashed." Tom laughed as he watched the scene in front of him. He had never seen Harrison that soft around a girl before and he was still surprised about how he had never seen it before.
"Figured that." You laughed as you hand went to Harrison's hair, "Can I leave now?"
"No." The blonde boy tightened his arms around you, not wanting to let you go. He assumed you were leaving with James, and he didn't want to let that happen, "Stay."
"James is waiting, I really have to go now." You laughed, not realizing that for Harrison, this meant something completely different than it meant for you. You felt the boy's grip loosen, making you get out of his lap before placing a kiss on his hair and telling Tom to take care of him.
You managed to get home safely and to your surprised James gave you his number, telling you to call him if you were down to get to know him better. Maybe he wasn't at all like Harrison? Harrison never gave anyone his number and he sure as hell never got to know any girl better except for you, but that was a different story.
You were woken up by the sound of your front door unlocking. Although you assumed that it was Harrison who wanted to crash at your place, you still got out of bed and walked to the front door where you saw your best friend struggle to get out of his shoes as he mumbled incoherent things to himself.
"Need some help?" You laughed as Harrison's head shot up.
"You're here." The boy sent you a smile before it faltered again, "Are you alone?"
"Of course I'm alone."
"And that guy?" Harrison asked. He assumed you went home with James, so he decided to crash on your couch. Ever since Tom told him that this was jealousy, it seemed to be eating the boy alive. He couldn't get you out of his mind and he sure as hell couldn't get the pictures of you with James out of his head.
"Is at this own place." You saw Harrison's mouth form a smile again before you were pulled into a bone crushing hug.
"Are you okay?" You laughed when he still didn't let you go after a while. Feeling him nod against your shoulder, you let your hand roam through his hair, "Need some sleep?"
"I-I thought you went home with him." Harrison mumbled as the two of you settled down in your bed, the boy's arms around you as your head rested on his chest.
"I clearly didn't." You chuckled.
"Good. I didn't want you to go home with him."
"Why?" You almost whispered. What was going on with him?
"You deserve better than him. You're not a girl for one night, you're the girl for a lifetime." Harrison mumbled as his grip around you tightened. You heart picked up its pace. What the fuck?
"Since when do you care enough to decide who deserves to be more than just a girl for the night?"
"I only care about you." He said, making your heart almost burst out of your chest.
"W-What?"
"Tom says I'm jealous. He - he thinks you have me ... whipped." The boy next to you let out a laugh, "I-I think he's right." He added in a whisper as your mind went blank.
"W-What?" Before he could answer you, you heard soft snores coming from your best friend, leaving you wide awake in your bed, thinking about what he just told you. Was this the alcohol speaking? Or was he telling the truth? And why the hell did you want for it to be nothing but the truth?
You struggled to fall asleep for the next hour, thinking about the possible outcomes of this situation. Harrison Osterfield didn't do feelings and relationships, right?
You were woken up by the sound of someone dropping something in your kitchen. Somehow you had managed to fall back asleep after the thoughts of you having feelings for Harrison were flying around in your head for an hour.
As you walked over to your kitchen, you were greeted by the sight of a topless Harrison. He had just gotten out of the shower and seemed to have only had time to put on his underwear as his hair was still wet.
"Good morning." You smiled as you hopped on the kitchen counter to observe what the blonde boy was doing.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." He said, sending you a quick smile. You watched him make breakfast for the two of you as the memories from last night replayed in your head. You had to talk to him about what happened, but you weren't so sure if he still remembered.
"H.." You said as he stopped doing what he was doing to turn around to face you, "C-Can we talk about last night?"
"W-What happened last night? I was pretty drunk." Harrison lied, fully knowing that he admitted that he was jealous and that you had him whipped.
"Harrison..." You said, grabbing his hand and pulling him in front of you, "I can tell when you're lying."
"Damn you for knowing me too well." Harrison groaned.
"Just admit that you have a thing for me." A small giggle escaped your lips as Harrison was still to busy looking everywhere except for your eyes.
"I-I, what, no, I don't." Harrison stuttered when your hands grabbed his face to make him look at you.
"That's a shame." You smiled, "I may or may not have a thing for you as well, but I guess you'll never know then." You grinned as you hopped off the kitchen counter before making your way towards the bathroom.
"W-What?" You heard Harrison stutter as you closed the door behind you.
"Wait! (Y/N), I do. I do have a thing for you!" Harrison seemed to be standing outside the bathroom door, "Open that damn door now! (Y/N)!" The boy was now knocking on the door, waiting for you to open it.
"I'm about to take a shower and I'm naked, go away." You giggled as you wrapped your towel around your body.
"Then that's even a better reason for you to open that fucking door. I swear on my life, Baby, open that door now or I will break it." You heard Harrison groan.
"What do you want?" You grinned as you opened the door, making Harrison's mouth drop wide open as his eyes went to the towel that was wrapped around your naked body.
"You have got to be kidding me." He groaned as he pulled you closer to him.
"So?" You smiled, as your fingers traced the outline of his jawline, "What do you want?"
"You - I want you." He grinned as he finally connected his lips with yours. He was right, you definitely weren't just a girl for the night but for a lifetime.
