Harper Lillian James Potter - the daughter of James and Lily Potter (nee Evans) was laying on the floor of the shack in the middle of the ocean where her "family" had dragged her to get away from the owls from that mysterious place. 

As her cousin Dudley's watched beeped - signally that it was midnight and the beginning of July 31st, her birthday - she finished drawing a cake in the dirt. 

"Make a wish," she muttered, before blowing the cake away. 

Suddenly there was a loud banging on the door and not two minutes later the door flew off the hinges to reveal a huge person standing outside. With a squeak both Harry and Dudley tried to hide as Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon came down the stairs with a gun.

"Sorry about that."

Harry stared at the giant man from her spot behind the fireplace. She barely registered what he was saying til he stated, "I've brought your Hogwarts letter!"

"What's Hogwarts?"

"Well haven't you ever been curious about where your parents learned everything?"

"Learned what sir?"

"SHE DOESN'T KNOW?!" The giant man, whose name was apparently Hagrid roared.

"Know what?"

"You're a witch Harry!"

In a daze Harper was taken away from the Dursleys by Hagrid and was emerged into the magical world.
