**Ok so from now on just assume that Lily and James are alive: if they aren't I will specify that at the beginning of the chapter**

Harper Lillian James Potter was walking from Dumbledore's office to head to the Forbidden Forest where Voldemort was waiting with his death eaters. She heard someone walking behind her and then heard Ron Weasley say, "We thought you had gone to the forest."

"I'm heading there now."

"Harry...what about your parents?" Hermione asked, concerned. 

"I can't go to them...not now...they'll try to stop me but I have to do this..."

"Harry..."

"There's a reason I can hear them...the horcruxes... I think I've known for a while...and I think you have as well..."

Hermione was now crying and stated, "I'll go with you."

"No. You have to stay here and kill the snake...that's the only way we'll be able to defeat him."

Hermione and Ron both ran to her and hugged her tight before she went on her way.

"Harry Potter...the girl who lived...come to die..."

"Harry? No! What are you doing here?!" Hagrid exclaimed from where he was bound by death eaters.

"Quiet." The one death eater hissed at the half giant before turning back to look at Harry.

There was silence as Harry closed her eyes, before Voldemort yelled, "AVADA KEDAVRA!"

Harper Potter fell to the ground - dead as Voldemort also collapsed.

"Harper Potter...you brave girl..."

"Professor? What...what is that?"

"A piece of Voldemort's soul come to die."

"What is this place?"

Dumbledore looked around and stated, "I don't know...what do you think?"

"It...It looks like king cross station...only cleaner...and without all the trains..."

They continued to talk for awhile before Dumbledore got up to leave. 

"Professor?" 

"Yes?"

"He has the elder wand...And the snake...I've no means to kill it..."

"Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who need it Harry. They simply need to ask."

"MASTER!" Bellatrix exclaimed going over to Voldemort.

"Get away...is she dead?"

Narcissia Malfoy went over to Harry's body and checked for a pulse. Upon finding one she whispered, "Draco - Is Draco alive?"

With the tiniest nod Narcissia stood and looked back at Voldemort and the death eaters. She declared, "Dead."

Hagrid carried Harry's "dead" body back to Hogwarts as the death eaters paraded behind Voldemort and Nagini. People came cautiously out of the castle and Voldemort stopped and exclaimed, "HARRY POTTER IS DEAD!"

"NO!" Lily screamed, tears now streaming down her face as she tried to run to her daughter's body. James held her back as he looked at the body Hagrid was carrying, his own tears streaming down his face.

"SILENCE! You stupid girl...Harry Potter is dead! Anyone who decides to join us now will be spared of a horrid death."

Nobody moved and all was silent until everyone heard Lucius Malfoy hiss, "Draco...Draco..."

Draco looked at his parents and then his mother who spoke, "Draco...come."

Looking down he went over to his parents as he was stared at in shock and sorrow. Suddenly Neville Longbottom began to walk forward after Voldemort hugged Draco who nearly ran to his mother.

"Neville? What are you doing?" Matt Potter whispered as he held onto his younger siblings 14 year old Liana and 12 year old Albert Fleamont Potter.

"Who might you be young man?"

"Neville Longbottom."

The death eaters laughed as Bellatrix cackled because she had been the one to torture his parents to insanity. 

"Well Neville I'm sure we could find a place for you in our ranks."

"I'd like to say something! Even though Harry died doesn't mean that she died in vain..."

"Stand down Neville," Seamus said aloud.

"We lost a lot of people...Remus, Tonks, Fred... But they didn't die in vain. But you will! Cause you're wrong! Harry's heart did beat for us - for all of us!" With that declaration Neville pulled the sword of Gryffindor out of the sorting hat.

Harry quickly pushed herself out of Hagrid's arms and she fell. Draco ran back towards the others still inside Hogwarts. Throwing a wand, he yelled "POTTAH!" 

Grabbing it she called, "Confringo!"

The spell bounced off Nagini and Harry ran away and towards the castle as Voldemort sent spell after spell at her. 

"We need to kill the snake."

What seemed like an eternity later, Voldemort was defeated.

Yeah wasn't 100% sure where to end this one...

There will be a chapter called 'After the Battle' that is a follow up to this chapter that I will probably write and post tomorrow if I'm not to busy with homework.
