**Note: James and Lily survived and raised Harper with the help of her "uncles" Sirius and Remus** 
*Set in 3rd year

"HARRY POTTER HAS A HOWLER!" Some random student in the great hall yelled as Hedwig dropped a red, smoking envelope into her eggs.

"You better open it Harry..." Hermione advised, "It's already smoking."

"Mum's probably mad..." Harper mumbled before carefully opening the howler. 

"HARPER LILLIAN JAMES POTTER! HOW DARE YOU!" Lily Potter nee Evans' voice sounded in the great hall. "HOW DARE YOU NOT WRITE TO US ABOUT THE DEMENTORS! WE HAD TO GET A LETTER FROM REMUS ABOUT IT!"

Harper paled and looked at Ron and Hermione. The dementors had tried to go after her during the quidditch match against Hufflepuff and Harper had fallen over 100 feet off of her broom.

"IF ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS AGAIN AND I DON'T HEAR ABOUT IT FROM YOU I WILL PERSONALLY COME AND DRAG YOU OUT OF THERE BY THAT MESS OF BLACK MOP ON YOUR HEAD YOU CALL HAIR!" "Lils are you sending Harry a howler?" "HI HARPER YOUR FAVORITE DOGFATHER MISSES YOU!" "JAMES! SIRIUS! SHUT UP I'M SCOLDING HER!" "For what? Not telling us about the dementors?" "YES!" "Oh...uh...Sorry Harper...I'm selling you out to your mother..."

"Nooooooooo dad why?" Harper groaned, hitting her head. Now for sure her mother would come and drag her out of Hogwarts.

"WHAT ELSE DID SHE DO THAT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT?!" "Well there was that troll in first year...and then the spiders last year..." "HARPER LILLIAN JAMES YOU ARE SO GROUNDED WHEN YOU COME HOME!" The letter then flew over to Snape and Lily yelled, "SEV YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER! DOES OUR FRIENDSHIP MEAN SO LITTLE TO YOU THAT YOU BULLY MY DAUGHTER CAUSE OF WHAT JAMES DID IN HOGWARTS?! YOU ARE THE GODFATHER OF MY SON AND HE APOLOGIZED FOR WHAT HAPPENED! PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ARSE AND ACTUALLY BE A TEACHER!" The letter then flew over to Remus, "AND REMUS IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HARPER YOU BETTER TELL ME! I HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR HER!" "BYE HARPER LOVE YOU!" "YOUR FAVORITE UNCLE LOVES YOU MORE!" "SHUT UP YOU TWO!"

The letter than tore itself up and Harper stared at Remus who was both pale from Lily's threats but also trying not to laugh at James and Sirius. 

"Don't worry Uncle Moony, you're my favorite uncle!" Harper called to him with a laugh. 

"Why thank you Harper," Remus laughed thinking what Sirius' reaction would be when he told him that.

"Your mother is scary mate," Ron mumbled as they got up to head to class.

"Oh that's not even her being 100% upset...just wait we'll probably do something that will get her there though..."
