CHAPTER 79
"Iss liye pedo mei fal ugte hai aur hum unme se kuch ko hi grahan kar sakte hai." Hanuman concluded after answering the question.
"Dhanyawad Gurudev." Rameshwari bowed her head.
"Aur prashn toh hai na tumhare paas ?" Hanuman asked raising his brow.
"Ji Gurudev." Rameshwari chuckled, "Prashn Raj-niti se sambandhit hai." She said.
"Oh. Toh fir uttar lamba hoga." Hanuman said with a smile.
"Sab kehte hai ki Pita-Maharaj ka Kosal Rajya, Bharatvarsh mei sabse samridh, sukhi aur dharmsheel hai. Humara Rajya kin karano se aisa hai ?" Rameshwari asked.
"सुखस्य मूलं धर्मः | धर्मस्य मूलम् अर्थः । अर्थस्य मूलं राज्यम् ॥" Hanuman said. (A happy society rests on Dharma. Upholding Dharma rests on wealth. Wealth creation depends on good governance.)
And so he went on to give a discourse about why Kosal was an incredibly wealthy state.
He told her how the state has governance systems tuned to the needs and aspirations of its people.
He told her how the state provides enough wealth creation opportunities to everyone. And taught her the way to maintain a correct balance between rights and responsibilities, regulations and individual freedom, that allows everyone to not just survive but grow and thrive while maintaining order in the society.
Hanuman told her about the effective and timely justice dispensation mechanisms and the administration of Kosal which is focused on the welfare of every part of the society equally, without exploiting any segment.
He taught her the way the state preserves its natural resources and respects the laws of nature. And how in such a state nature, too, remains bountiful.
"Accha Gurudev, yadi ek acche Rajya ke yeh gun hai toh ek acche Raja ke kaunse gun hai ?" Rameshwari said.
"Woh sabhi gun tumhare Pitashree mei hai." Hanuman said.
"Jaise ?" Rameshwari asked.
"Apne Pitashree ka dincharya batao." Hanuman said.
And so Rameshwari began pondering over the topic, mentally listing all the things she has seen her father do in a day.
"Woh sadev Suryodaye se pehle uthte hai." Rameshwari said.
"Ek Raja ko sadev nidra mei bhi anushashan ka palan karna chahiye. Use sadev Suryodaye se pehle uthna chahiye, aur adhik nidra ya anuchit samaye par nidra nahi leni chahiye." Hanuman said.
"Oh." Rameshwari nodded, "Fir maine kabhi kabhi dekha tha ki Pitashree uthne ke baad kisi vishaye mei chintan kar rahe hote hai." She said.
"Raatri ke antim prahar, arthat Suryodhaye se poorv, Raja ko Raj-vyavastha, shaashan aur dincharya ke karyo ke baare mei sochna chahiye. Shri Ram iss hi baare mei chintan karte hai." Hanuman said.
"Oh. Fir woh sadev ke bhaati praja se milne jaate hai." Rameshwari said recalling the times when he'd too take her on the royal pathway.
"Raja ko sadev praja ke liye sugam rehna chahiye, unhe sadev Rajochit maarg par swayam ko prastut karna chahiye, din ke pehle bhaag mei, ek niyukt samaye par." Hanuman said.
"Ha. Pitashree sugam toh hai, praja unke paas kabhi bhi aa sakti. Kintu, yadi koi vyakti sabke liye sugam hai, toh kya uska sammaan nahi ghat jaayega ?" Rameshwari asked.
"Uchit kaha tumne. Iss liye bhale Raja praja ke liye sugam ho, lekin use saavdhaan rehna chahiye ki uske karmchari uske adhik nikat na ajaye aur unhe halke mei lene lage. Raja ki upaadhi ka samaan aur uski mariyada bani rehna chahiye." Hanuman said.
"Oh. Iss liye Pitashree mantriyo aur amatyo se adhik, praja se jude hai." Rameshwari concluded.
"Shri Ram Dharm, Arth aur Kaam ki bhi purti karte hai. Bata sakti ho kaise ?" Hanuman asked.
"Um... Pitashree sadev bhinn bhinn prakar ke yagya karwate hai aur daan dete hai. Kehte hai ki yeh unka dharm hai. Aur arth toh shaashan karna aur dhan ekagrat karna huya. Aur kaam ki purti woh Nat Nati ke manoranjan se karte hai." Rameshwari said.
"Uchit kaha. Ek Raja ko Dharm, Arth aur Kaam ke madhya santulan banana chahiye aur teeno ki purti karni chahiye, jisse woh aur praja, dono sukhi rahe." Hanuman said.
"Accha. Pitashree toh bahut acche yoddha bhi hai. Lakshman chacha ne Lanka mei dikhayi unki veerta ki kahaniya sunai thi. Gurudev, kya mai bhi Pitashree ke bhaati ek sashakt yoddha ban sakti hu ?" Rameshwari asked.
"Kyu nahi ? Tum unki hi aatmaja ho. Tum Rameshwari, Ram ki ishwari shakti ka pratik ho. Tum bhi ek kushal yoddha banne ka samarthya rakhti ho." Hanuman said.
Rameshwari smiled at the assurance, her father had already taught her the significance of what a Kshatriya is, the one born from the arms of Brahma, the one destined to be the protectors of the varna and Dharma.
A mere thought about being a warrior, riding on a horse carrying a weapon in one hand while holding the reins from the other, gave her immense pleasure.
That righteous rage in the eyes but still compassion for all in the heart, thinking thrice before picking a weapon but not thinking twice before beheading the enemy.
The Kshatriya prowess, the power which protects the world, the power which protects the mankind. The power that everyone has in them, but only few invoke it. Because the great ones have always been the one who fought against the unrighteous.
Seeing her eyes glimmering, just at the thought of being a true Kshatriya warrior, Hanuman smiled.
"Ek karya karna Rama, kal khadag leke aana." Hanuman said.
