You've decided to visit your family for the weekend since you haven't seen them since the holidays and it was now mid June, your visit was long overdue.

Being in your childhood home felt refreshing, but after walking into your old bedroom and seeing it be replaced with gym equipment and a 50 inch flat screen, you realized how much of a difference a year could make. You became flatmates with Louise, you quit your gruesome job, you joined YouTube, you met some of your best friends, and most importantly you were introduced to Dan. If it wasn't for Louise, none of that would've been possible.

Although you've enjoyed every second of your family's company, you were feeling a bit homesick. You've grown so used to the freedom in your life that you so desperately craved for after all of those years of being imprisoned, it even felt abnormal to eat at the dining table with your family. You, Louise, and Darcy would just nuzzle up on the couch watching Dance Moms reruns whilst either eating something Louise or you prepared, or on nights when you were feeling sluggish, pizza.

Being away from Dan was your main difficulty, so you couldn't help but to feel a wave of happiness take over since you'd finally be able to see his gorgeous face after the long weekend came to a close. You felt pathetic for missing him when in reality you weren't away for that long, but you've been spending every last minute together since Florida, so you couldn't help but to feel disoriented not being woken up to All Star every single morning and Dan finding himself so witty for it.

This was your life now.

As you were finishing packing, your phone started to buzz in your pocket.

You nearly dropped your phone once your face appeared on the screen, scanning over the words danknowshowtomakemehowell would like FaceTime..

You rolled your eyes at the name Louise put in for him, swiping your finger across the screen and instantly being greeted with a skittish Dan.

"G'mornin sunshine." Dan grinned brightly, his collar bones popping out from under the duvet.

"Someone's a bit cheery this morning, what is there a new meme out there that's enticed you?" You questioned as you let out a small laugh, opening up your MacBook and propping your phone against it so your arm wouldn't give out. Before he spoke up you took in his appearance and noticed dark, heavy circles under his eyes, and what made out to be tear streaks from a few hours ago. You wanted to confront him to make sure he was okay, but Dan has mentioned to you before how much work he's been putting in lately to multiple projects and how stressful it's been so you were positive that was the case.

"My life doesn't just revolve around memes, Y/N. Well actua- Okay Dan shut up and get to the point, would you fancy going to a movie premiere tonight?" Dan's voice was filled with pep, the contagious smile not leaving his face.

"Is that even a question?" You sneered, squealing in excitement. This was your first time you and Dan would be seen in the public eye as a couple, and it was definitely going to be memorable for you. Sure, not everyone was supportive of your relationship, but you weren't going to let that get to you two.

"This is going to be wicked-Oh shit what am I supposed to wear! Should we match, what if Phil falls on the red carpet?" Dan began to ramble, nearly tripping over his feet to get up.

"You do look quite dashing in that leather shirt of yours, I reckon you wear that." You sniggered as you watched him dive into his closet, a timid expression on his face.

"I'm hanging up." Dan deadpanned.

"Wait!" You interrupted as he was about to end the call.

"What?"

You kissed the screen sloppily as he erupted into laughter, his cheeks burning.

"You're so precious." He shook his head before you two said your goodbyes, growing even more eager to see him.

You resumed packing, making sure to pick up the pace so you could catch the earliest train home.

"What do you think?" Louise twirled around in the dress you picked out for her, envious of how amazing she looked. Louise was one of those people who was able to pull anything off, which never failed to lower your self esteem.

"You look like a less blinding disco ball." Jack gave her a thumbs up, popping a tic-tac in his mouth as the room filled with laughter. Everyone who was attending the movie premiere met up at your flat, being introduced to some of Louise and Dan's friends who you instantly hit it off with such as Tom Ridgewell, Hazel Hayes, Dodie Clark, Charlie McDonnell, Chris Kendall and Emma Blackery. Of course Phil tagged along as well, so you had many people crowding around you.

"The fact that I didn't even find that offensive makes me question why I'm not sick of you yet you dimwit." She flicked him before pointing at you.

"Could you be a dear and go put on the dress I picked out for you so I can finish your hair?" Louise demanded before bringing her attention to Hazel and the curling wand.

"You are such a mom Louise." Emma chuckled, spraying a bit of perfume and coughing a second later.

"I'm a fun mom."

You swiveled through everyone and reached your bedroom, your fingers dancing across the silky material. You've only worn the dress once to a wedding, so it was perfect for an event like this.

"Could someone zip me up?" You peaked your head out the door, smiling awkwardly.

Dan practically jumped to his feet, a smug look on his face.

"I've got this." He popped his collar, starting to make his way towards you.

"Mate you'll be doing the opposite of zipping up her dress I'm not sure if that's a very good idea." Jack pulled him back, earning more laughter from everyone. You wanted to hang around this group of people more often.

Dan broke from his grasp and playfully flipped him off, waltzing into your room and causing you to flinch from the sudden contact. He slowly zipped up your dress, mindlessly pressing a kiss to your neck.

"You look absolutely stunning." Dan mumbled against your skin, your body tensing. It was mad how he could turn a switch from being adorable to charming in seconds.

"I don't have a snarky reply for you this time, I've let you down." You smiled crookedly, standing in front of the mirror.

"That is frowned upon." Dan played along, attempting to look annoyed.

"Alright guys it doesn't take 5 minutes to zip up a dress, get out here so we can leave!" Louise called out to you two, both of your cheeks turning pink.

Dodie was gushing to you about how cute she found you and Dan together as you all made your way towards the door, only for it to be opened.

"S-Sorry I'm late." PJ fumbled with his words, his eyes not leaving the ground.

You've got to be fucking kidding me.
