Waking up in Dan's arms was something you've wanted for so long, you pinched yourself to make sure it was real. As creepy as it sounds, you couldn't help but to watch him sleep. Small snores slipped between his lips and his hair was messily tousled to the side, he was simply flawless.

After last night, there was no point in concealing your feelings any longer. You wanted him.

No more games.

What did this meant for you two, were you finally going to take a bigger step?

You hoped you weren't sounding irrational and that it was on his mind too.

After a few minutes passed, Dan's eyes slowly started to flicker open, beaming up at you instantly. You giggled, not being able to tear your eyes away from him.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." He winked, his voice much deeper and raspier than you were used to.

"You're such a smart ass." You huffed playfully, his laughter being the only thing you could hear.

"How are you feeling?" His expressions changed quickly, scooting closer to you.

"I don't know." You honestly didn't, it didn't even occur to you how big of a deal it was until he acknowledged it. Marcus did unspeakable things to you, and was thrown in jail for it.

Coincidentally, your face started to ache.

All of a sudden, everyone crowded into Dan's room, bombarding you with questions. Nearly everyone was in tears about the situation, but you couldn't bring yourself to cry anymore. You just felt numb.

"I'm so sorry this happened to you." Louise pulled you towards her tightly, already sensing that she wasn't going to let go anytime soon.

Realizing how much people cared about you made you feel something inexpressible, and you couldn't be more happier with the people that were in your life to support you.

"We can go home right now if you want, we don't have to stay here." Zoe chimed in.

"No, absolutely not. I'm not going to let this ruin our vacation, so let's just put this behind us. Please." You shook your head, pleading.

That's all you wanted was to forget it ever happened.

"Are you sure?" Louise pulled away, eyebrows knitted.

"Yes, I'm positive. There's already been so much drama and we've only been here for 3 days. Let's just enjoy ourselves and have fun while it lasts, yeah?" You tried your best to sound reasonable, forcing a smile on your face.

"How about we go swimming?" Joe suggested, everyone agreeing in unison.

Everyone scurried out of the room to get ready, leaving you alone with Dan.

"You're strong, you know that?" He smiled wistfully at you, sighing heavily.

"You could say it's a strong suit of mine." You made sure the hint of sarcasm was obvious in your tone, making him roll his eyes.

"Am I ever taken seriously around here?" He frowned.

"Nope." You grinned, growing the courage to kiss his cheek and walk to your room to get ready for the day.

Wow, what a big step!

Standing in that room was almost suffocating for you. Memories from last night flooded your brain, nausea finally getting the best of you. You were sick for 5 minutes straight.

The next thing you did was look in the mirror, examining each mark Marcus left. They were scarcely noticeable due to the healing, except for a few small bruises.

Thankfully, there weren't any along your body.

Everyone was outside enjoying the sunny weather, diving into the pool and singing along to the blaring radio.

"Damn, I'm related to her!" Louise wolf whistled once you stepped outside, her and Zoe clapping. You waved her off, watching Alfie, Caspar, and Joe do flips into the water while Phil was cautiously dipping his toes in.

You laughed to yourself before locking eyes with Dan, his mouth slightly parted. (He was basically drooling.)

You strolled towards him as he rose from his seat, his eyes traveling up and down your body with a smirk.

"Stop staring, hypocrite." You returned the smirk, tilting his chin up.

"There's a huge difference between staring and admiring, love." He pointed out, smiling cheekily.

"Dan, hit the dab!" Alfie interrupted with his vlog camera, agitation written on your face.

"What the fuck, is that like new slang for smoking weed or something?" Dan's face was full of innocence, you and Alfie instantly roaring with laughter.

"Are you joking?" He said through his laughter, only making Dan grow more confused.

"No, I feel like I should be offended." Dan laughed, shooting you a side glance.

Alfie just continued to cackle and walked away, leaving Dan puzzled.

"Well why don't we go inside and hit the dab," Dan tried sounding seductive, cringing after the sentence.

"I'm going to go drown myself now." Dan pointed towards the pool and waved, your laughter continuing to grow.

"Dan Howell: setting standards high since the womb."

Dan turned to you with a mope before his eyes lit up, a devilish grin covering his face.

"Why are you-" Before you could finish he inched towards you, pushing you into the pool and jumping in shortly after you.

"You're going to hell!" You coughed a few times, splashing him repeatedly.

"Real mature." Dan sniggered, pushing his hair out of his face.

"Says the one who pushed me in." You stuck your tongue out, splashing him once more and laughing, swimming away from him.

You were humming along to a song as you dried off, making sure to do it a slow pace so Dan would suffer.

Sure enough, his eyes were glued to you, watching your every move.

The whole time you were in the pool, the tension was growing more and more intolerable, neither of you were going to be able to control yourselves for much longer.

You bit your lip as you dropped your towel, taking long strides up to your room. You wanted him to follow, but you knew he wouldn't.

You threw on the black shirt Dan let you sleep in the night before, letting out a shaky sigh.

Dan busted through the door a second later, pulling you by your shirt across the hall and into his room, kicking the door behind him.

"I can't take it anymore." He planted his lips on yours hungrily, the two of you stumbling towards the bed.

Let's just say that didn't end for awhile.
