A/N: this gif hurts my feelings so much im not even exaggerating

"For gods sake, not again!" Dan followed his eyes to where you were gaping, sighing disapprovingly.

AGAIN?

Phil and Louise pulled apart abruptly, acting nearly as dumbfounded as you were.

"Oh my god. U-Um this is the funniest thing, I came outside b-because I was having a nightmare right? And I just started choking, like right on the spot. Somehow Phil detected this and he started giving me CPR, right Phil?" Louise nudged him a little too roughly, causing him to groan and nod his head feverishly.

"Yes, that is one hundred percent factual information." He rubbed his arm shyly, too embarrassed to look at either of you.

"Right well Phil you're not very great at CPR then, and Louise you might need to see a doctor about that because this is the fourth time he's given you CPR this week." Dan quirked an eyebrow, an amused smirk on his face.

Their faces were priceless.

You almost wanted to laugh at how effortlessly he busted them, but the situation was too unreal for you to function properly.

"Now would you like to explain what's really been going on, because I just can't help but to be curious." The sarcasm rushing through your voice almost scared them.

"Phil it's time." (i cant even think of the word time without thinking of that annoying ass clock from dont hug me im scared going meh mEH MEH MEH MEH MEH ffs)

You and Dan turned to each other in confusion until you noticed a bruise starting to form right below his left eye, your stomach instantly sinking.

The four of you sat out by the pool so no one could overhear, the two of them glancing at each other hesitantly.

"So how did this happen?" You leaned forward, not prepared for any answer they were about to give you.

"Well we started to become closer due to our plan." You and Dan were intrigued, signaling for her to continue.

"Me and Phil created a plan to get you together, because we noticed changes in you two when you first met and knew instantly that you guys were meant to be together. That was until PJ came along and sabotaged everything, so we decided the only way we could fix this is if we force you two in a flat together in hopes that you'll rekindle your friendship. And then marry each other." Louise inhaled sharply to catch her breath as they searched your eyes for any sort of reaction.

"Well that's not happening." Dan spoke sourly, slumping back in his seat.

His words stung, but nonetheless you nodded in agreement.

"Where does this bring you two kissing into the picture?" You wanted to get to the bottom of this before you broke down in front of everyone, bouncing your leg impatiently.

"We weren't going to say anything until we were ready, but since we've hung out a lot more and grew closer we realized that we have something special." They looked into each other's eyes affectionately, huge grins plastered across their faces. You've never seen them look so happy.

You wish you could've had the chance to be that happy with Dan, but his big brown doe eyes that you used to adore soon turned cold and distant.

Dan seemed to be deep in thought as well, since you both went mute.

"Basically what we're trying to get across to you guys is that you need each other. You're literally the same person! It baffles me how you could be so in-denial towards each other's feelings. It's obvious you two are in love even when you're in a dispute like this, I see it in your eyes." Louise's voice was stern, but it was enough to get you thinking.

Phil placed his hand on top of Louise's, squeezing it lightly, the more you watched them, the more you've grown to love them together. That's when everything clicked.

You craved for that attention.

No, you craved Dan.

"We're not forcing you guys to speak right away, but you guys are suffering without each other. You both made mistakes and since you're both adults you can learn how to forgive each other for them. You guys have chemistry that I've never even seen before, and if you're going to continue to pretend that what you have is absolutely nothing, then that just shows how big of cowards you are." Louise proclaimed bluntly, eyebrows raised.

As much as you didn't want to believe it, you knew it was true. You were cowards, you were so scared of commitment that the only thing you could think of was to shut each other out.

"Lou don't push it." Phil spoke calmly, smiling apologetically towards you two.

"No, she's right." Dan concurred, nearly sending you in whiplash.

You watched Louise and Phil's expressions light up, whispering things to each other and giggling. They were such fangirls.

Your mind started to swirl from his words, standing up from your seat. If you didn't get out of there, you were going to be sick.

"I-I'm sorry I can't do this." You bolted through the door and to your room, locking the door and leaning against it, pounding your fist on it in frustration.

"God, I'm such an idiot!" You said between your teeth, tugging at your hair.

That night you barely slept.

The next morning everyone was up bright and early, ready to head out to the beach.

"Hun, are you coming?" Zoe popped her head in before noticing your distress. She shut the door behind her slowly and sat down on the edge of your bed.

"Spill."

You told her everything, bawling into your hands. Why did you keep doing this to yourself?

"Y/N, I'm going to quote something from my favorite movie. It inspired me to follow my heart and I hope it helps you do the same. You accept the love you think you deserve." With that she got up and flashed you one last smile before disappearing with the rest of the group, leaving you with your jumbled thoughts.

As you waited for everyone to leave and the house filled with nothing but silence, you relaxed.

That was until there was a knock on the door.

You knew it was Dan, already dreading the conversation you were about to have.

As you turned the handle you were instantly pinned against the wall, hearing the door click to indicate that it was locked.

"Finally, I have you all to myself." Marcus chuckled seductively and shoved a gag in your mouth before you could protest.
