19; Explain Yourself

"Q-Quinn? Wh-What? But h-how?" Mackenzie looked at the young girl- correction; make that woman, standing in front of her.

"I will tell you everything and more, but first I just-I just can't believe I finally found you." With a wide smile, Quinn rushed forward and wrapped her arms around Mackenzie.

Mackenzie stood frozen for a moment- as if she was afraid to move- like she was afraid if she did, this moment would disappear. She was scared this would be like any other time where she would wake up in the bed alone and realize it was all just a dream.

Once she realized her sister hadn't disappeared, she released the breath she had been holding and closed her eyes. With a dimpled smile on her face, she wrapped her arms around her sister and held her tight, a part of her never wanted to let her go.

This was the day- the moment, she had been dreaming of for the last two years. Any time she questioned or tortured a demon and didn't get the answers she wanted or the job became too hard, this is what kept her going- the dream of finding her sister and being able to hold her in her arms.

Snapping her eyes open, she pulled back to look at Quinn. She couldn't stop a small chuckle from escaping her lips. "I-I can't believe this...I can't believe you're actually here. Is this really real?"

"It's real. See..." Quinn lightly pinched Mackenzie's arm to prove that this was real and she was standing in front of her.

"Ouch!" She laid a hand on her arm and laughed. "Okay, point taken."

"Oh, it is so good to see you!" Quinn hugged her sister again. After she released her, she sidestepped Mackenzie to walk into the motel room. After removing her jacket, she tossing it and her big black purse onto a chair.

"It's good to see you too." Mackenzie shut the door, then turned around to face her. "You have no idea how long Dad and I have been looking for you."

"I know," Quinn said, a frown appeared on her face.

"You know? How?" Mackenzie asked confused. "And how did you get away? How did you find me?"

"Okay, one question at a time." Quinn chuckled as she plopped down on the edge of the bed and held up a hand to stop Mackenzie from talking.

"Sorry. I'm just confused." Mackenzie sat down beside her on the bed.

"I know you are and I'll answer any questions you have, but right now, I'm just really, really tired." Quinn yawned.

"Right, of course." Mackenzie nodded. As much as she wanted answers to the millions of questions that she had, she couldn't imagine the things her poor sister had been through. She probably hasn't had a full night of rest since she was taken, she was probably too scared to fall asleep.

"We'll talk in the morning," Quinn suggested.

"Sure." Mackenzie flashed her a smile.

Mackenzie stood up from the bed, while Quinn removed her blue jeans, then scooted back to the head of the bed and pulled the blanket back from under her. While she got comfortable, Mackenzie turned off the light and laid down beside her.

Minutes before, Mackenzie was tired and drained from the day, but now with her sister lying beside her, she felt like she couldn't close her eyes. All she wanted was to listen to her sister breath in and out and feel the warmth of her body as they laid side by side. She had thought her sister had fallen asleep until her voice broke the silence.

"I know I said we'll talk in the morning, but I do have a question for you."

"Hm?" Mackenzie turned her head to look at Quinn and saw her looking back at her.

"Who's Dean?"

"What?"

"When you opened the door earlier, you said 'damn it, Dean, I said not now'..." Quinn began to say, for a moment Mackenzie had forgotten the two had even talked before. Seeing that her sister remembered now, she asked again, "So who's Dean?"

"Oh, he's just, um...this guy that I've been hunting with," Mackenzie answered vaguely.

"You sure? Because it sounds like more than that." Quinn rolled on her side to face Mackenzie, then raised her head and rested it in her hand as her elbow rested on the bed.

"Okay, so, there might be more to that story...a lot more to the story," Mackenzie admitted.

"Tell me...I love a good story." Quinn smiled.

"I don't even know where to begin." Mackenzie groaned.

"Just start from the beginning," Quinn suggested.

She nodded her head, then opened her mouth to spill everything to her sister. Everything from meeting Dean for the first time when she was twelve, to seeing him again ten years later and their little fling. She even told her about how Dean asked her to leave with him and how she finally stood up to Michael and the fight they had before she left him.

Her voice became softer and quieter as she told her about finding Michael bleeding on the floor and then dying in her arms later when she returned to the motel room. She also told her about how earlier that day she showed up to meet Dean, but he never showed up. Then she told her about finding out that she was alive in their father's journal and how she spent the last two years hunting demons alone for information, which lead to her running into Dean and Sam again and how she began to hunt with them.

When Quinn asked her more about Dean, she tried to play it off, but one look from her sister, she sighed then finally told her about her confusing feelings for him. She explained how even though she was pissed that he never showed; she was finding it harder and harder to stay mad at him the longer she was around him. She honestly missed him and the closeness they had- that bond that happened instantly from the very beginning.

Mackenzie couldn't help but think she was a little amazed that she was telling her sister all of this. She wasn't the type to spill her thoughts and feelings to just anyone, but she was honestly tired of being alone and having the weight of the world on her shoulders. She had so much going on in her mind, that she honestly couldn't handle it all on her own anymore. Plus, in her mind, she wasn't just telling this to anyone- this was her sister, her last family member.

"Wow, that is a lot," Quinn said once she was done. She blew out a breath, then added sincerely, "I can't believe you had to deal with some much on your own. I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Mackenzie softly said with a shrug. She opened her mouth to say something else, but a loud yawn happened instead, causing the two girls to chuckle.

"Maybe we should get some sleep now," Quinn suggested.

"I think we should." Mackenzie nodded, then joked, "The second wind I had has now blown again."

"Night, sis." Quinn smiled.

"Night," Mackenzie mumbled back as she closed her eyes and felt herself falling into a deep sleep.

After seeing that her sister was out, Quinn reached out to brush a lock of hair behind Mackenzie's ear. An unreadable expression on her face as she whispered out, "Don't worry, sis, I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere."

Early the next morning, after checking out of their motel room, Dean and Sam tossed their bags into the trunk of the car, then walked over to Mackenzie's room. Dean hated to wake her up so soon after what happened to her the day before, but he had received another text from his father with more coordinates.

After looking up on the laptop where the coordinates were, he saw they had a several hour trip ahead of them, meaning they needed to hit the road now if they wanted to make it there before the end of the day.

Sam was annoyed that their dad was sending them on another case and Dean was jumping at the chance to do it when they should be looking for him and Quinn, but Sam was too tired to get into with him this morning. Instead, he walked slowly behind Dean until they reached the motel room number they were looking for.

Raising his hand, Sam lightly knocked on the door and waited a moment for her to answer, but when the door remained shut, he went to knock again but Dean beat him to it as he knocked loudly on the door and ignored the look Sam gave him.

Hearing the door crack open, the brothers turned their heads and was surprised to see an unfamiliar brunette standing on the other side in a pair of lacy boy short panties and a too tight tank top. She didn't seem fazed by being woken up by strangers and being seen in revealing sleepwear, instead, she just looked annoyed.

"Can I help you?" Quinn pushed her brown hair out of her face to get a closer look at them. Her eyebrows shot up and she bit her bottom lip before flashing them a smile. She honestly didn't know which was one hotter- the taller one with the shaggy hair and nice eyes or the bad boy in the leather jacket and bowlegs.

"Sorry, we-we must have the wrong room," Sam stuttered as he went to take a step back- he could have sworn he got the room number right, but maybe he was wrong. There have been so many different rooms throughout the months they have traveled, it was an easy mistake to make.

"Or maybe you have the right room," he heard the stranger say, grabbing his attention. She folded her arms across her chest, pushing her breast up- her tone flirty as she asked, "Who are you looking for?"

"We're looking for Kenzie Cole." Dean lowered his eyebrows in anger. He had no idea who this girl was, but he wasn't in the mood for her games or her blatantly attitude toward him and his brother.

"Well, you are in the right place then. I'm Quinn, her sister." She dropped her arms, then held a hand out for the brothers to shake- which Dean ignored. It seemed weird in his opinion that the girl they had been searching for had suddenly tracked them down out of the blue.

"You-You're Quinn?" Sam asked, not being able to hide his shock.

"In the flesh," she said, her tone breathy as she leaned slightly toward them and rested her hands on her hips. Her eyes roamed over them again, not even trying to hide the fact that she was checking them out. "And you two must be Sam and Dean Winchester. I know all about you two."

Sam blew out a slight chuckle, unsure how to respond to her brazen attitude. He couldn't help but compare her to Mackenzie- other than their similar features- the two girls seemed to be nothing alike. He turned to look at his brother for a moment, seeing his eyes narrowed as he looked at Quinn- from that one look, he could tell Dean was not a fan of the younger Cole sister.

Quinn opened her mouth to invite the brothers in, but before she could utter a word, they heard the bathroom door open, followed by a billow of steam as Mackenzie left the room with only a white towel wrapped around her body. She had another towel in her hand as she was drying her hair with her head lowered. She had not noticed the brothers standing in the doorway yet.

Sam quickly turned his head in respect for her, but Dean couldn't tear his eyes away. He had almost forgotten how she looked right after a shower with beads of water dripping down her naked body. He remembered licking a few droplets from her body years ago after her shower.

He had stood in front of her once she walked out, the towel she had wrapped around her that day was a dark tan one with the motel logo on it. He had placed a hand on her hip to stop her, then leaned down to press his lips against hers. When she tilted her head back with a moan, he had placed his lips against the front of her neck, then kissed over to her bare shoulder. When he had seen a drop of water fall from her wet hair and onto her shoulder, he pressed his lips against it and ran his tongue down the trail it would have made.

When he thought about the moans she made that day after he removed the towel and used his tongue in a few more places, he felt a tightening in his pants. He could faintly hear Sam clear his throat beside him to get his attention, but he found he couldn't look away from her until Sam finally slapped him in the stomach, breaking the moment as he blew out a breath and leaned forward slightly.

"Okay, Quinn, shower is all yours." Mackenzie dropped the towel from her hand, then raised her head and gasp in surprise when she saw Dean and Sam standing at the door.

"You might want to get dressed, sis, we have company." Quinn laughed as she turned to look at her sister.

"A little warning would have been nice." Mackenzie grabbed some clean clothes from her bag, then stomped back to the bathroom, slamming the door shut in anger.

"Sorry!" Quinn couldn't stop a chuckle from escaping her lips. Turning back toward the brothers, she pushed the door further open. "Come in."

As Sam and Dean walked into the motel room, Mackenzie walked out of the bathroom dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a simple black tank top. She gathered her long hair to pile it on top of her head in a messy bun. "So what are you two doing here so early?"

"We got a new case," Sam answered.

"Although that kinda takes the backseat for a moment, because the more important question is; what the hell is going on here?" Dean glared over at Quinn before looking back at Mackenzie.

"Right, that," Mackenzie breathed out, then smiled over at her sister. "She just showed up last night."

"How?" Sam asked the question that everyone was wondering.

"I was just about to explain all of that." Quinn grabbed her blue jeans from the floor and slipped them on.

"What are you waiting for then...explain away," Dean said, his voice gruff as he folded his arms across his chest.

"Maybe this should just be a conversation between you and me." Mackenzie looked over at her sister. She didn't know what all her sister had been through, but she wondered if maybe it would be too hard to talk about with a crowd of people surrounding her.

"No it's okay," Quinn said, brushing the idea aside, then glanced over at the brothers. "Besides, the Winchesters are on Azazel's most wanted list, they deserve to hear this."

"What are you talking about?" Dean questioned, a confused look on his face.

"Azazel, the demon, he knew all of you were looking for him and he wasn't happy about it," Quinn answered.

"So how did you get away?" Sam slowly sat down in a chair near the door.

"It wasn't easy, trust me." Quinn scoffed. "He had me locked up for years...trying to break me, trying to get me to join his side. Until finally I told him okay. I told him I would work for him, not against him. So he began to trust me with things."

"Like what?" Mackenzie asked.

Walking across the floor, Quinn grabbed her purse out of the other chair. The trio watched her in confusion as she dug around inside the purse to find something.

Pulling out a handgun, she held it up. "This. He trusted me with this."

"Is that-"

"The colt," Quinn cut Dean off as he stared at the gun with wide eyes.

"Oh, my god," Mackenzie breathed out as she took a step toward her, her eyes on the gun. She was worried if she looked away, they would lose the most important weapon out there- the only thing that could kill the yellow-eyed demon.

"You don't have to worry about killing him anymore though," Quinn said- as if she could read her sister's mind and knew what she was thinking.

"What do you mean?" Sam asked, the confused look on his face matching the other two.

"'Cause I killed him." Quinn smiled as she held up the gun proudly.
