Ah, Valentine's Day.

A day where romance is in the air, roses being picked and placed in baskets with pink laced bows wrapped on the handle, and the occasional sayings of 'I love you' from various people. To many kingdoms in the land of Brittania, the day of love was celebrated as usual, but in the kingdom of Liones was a special occasion for the citizens.

A place where love blooms, many people from all over the land would often visit the kingdom since Liones is special with its Valentine's Festival. It's a special day indeed, very special too for the third princess in line of Liones, the young and beautiful Princess Elizabeth. As a princess, she had many suitors, the same goes to her two older sisters who often wear disguises in the streets at Valentine's Day to avoid staring eyes of men, just so they can be with their guards or lovers, Griamore and Gilthunder.

Back then she didn't really have a Valentine to be with, so much so it took a small toll on her, making Elizabeth think that maybe she'll never have a special someone to be with. Margaret and Veronica, her two sisters would comfort her when she would show signs of loneliness, even asking her to accompany them. Elizabeth declines their offer every single time, worrying that she might end up being a burden.

Her hope for a Valentine's seem to stuck, until she had met and encountered a notorious ex knight after the Holy Knights' coup, the legendary captain of The Seven Deadly Sins, Meliodas the dragon sin. Never had she thought she would fall hard for someone who looks like a young boy with an adult man's heart and mind. After her many adventures with Meliodas and the Sins was the time she had real friends who stuck by her side, people who are there for her and tend to her when she is hurt or in pain, especially Meliodas.

The thought of him alone makes her whole face turn red in an instant.

All of those events are now in the past now that it's been a year since the defeat of the Demon King and Valentine's Day is closing in once more, the people of Liones never felt more alive. Since the Sins' last mission was successful many citizens has high hopes and cheered for the Seven Deadly Sins, this includes Elizabeth.

Tonight, for their victory the team had many drinks at the Boar Hat while laughing as Ban rid on Hawk a couple of times to the point where Elaine has to resort to restraining Ban. Elizabeth giggled and laughed along with them, her hands holding a tray with drinks on them, "Here you are! " She said, placing the tray down on the table in front of Ban, Meliodas and King.

"Thank you, Princess Elizabeth. " King thanked her, calling her formerly and grabbed a mug, chugging down the booze while Ban almost smacked Meliodas with a bottle, laughing and swinging in his chair wildly.

"You don't have to call me princess, Sir King. I'm perfectly fine being called Elizabeth. " She kindly replied, swiping away Ban's bottle from his hand and placed it on the now empty tray.

King smiled and nodded, placing his mug down and ruffled his head in pain, he must've drank too much.

"How about you Elizabeth? You look a little down, is something the matter?" Meliodas cuts in, looking sober and didn't seem to be affected by the alcohol, and he had ten drinks tonight, which didn't exactly surprise Elizabeth since learning of his alcohol tolerance.

"Oh nothing to worry about Sir Meliodas." She then took the tray and walked away to the counter, while Meliodas being the pervy captain everyone knows watches Elizabeth swing her hips as she walked away. Ban then swings his hand towards Meliodas, which the latter dodged by ducking.

"I saw how you looked at her Captain! Haha seriously, just ask her out on a date already! " Ban cackled grabbing his cup and drank his drink in one go, making Meliodas chuckle and cross his arms. King fell asleep on the table, bonking his head in the process while he snored quietly.

Seeing a rare opportunity, Ban took out a vial of octopus goop he stole from Merlin earlier inside his pocket and decides to write something on King's face all the while Meliodas tried telling Ban off but the Fox Sin of Greed didn't hesitate and never bothered to listen to Meliodas. Suddenly, his concentration was disturbed when someone hits him on the head with a wooden tray.

"Hey, what gives?? " He complained annoyingly, scratching his head in pain since he's still drunk as a skunk. Ban looks up to see Diane, wearing the tavern uniform, her free hand on her hip while giving Ban an angry look.

"Just what do you think you're doing? " The giantess asked Ban brashly, her cheeks puffed as she held the tray on her other hand. Ban then laughed her off, facing her with his drunken state, appearing to not care about her fury and for an obvious reason.

"I don't know, what's it look like I'm doing? " Ban says without shame, earning a glare from Diane and unluckily for him, this earned him a beating from Diane. While everyone in the tavern all laughed at their brawl and all yelled with rowdiness, as Meliodas sat there enjoying the view while King was still swirling from the alcohol.

But soon, he thought of something. Valentine's Day is tomorrow, and almost most of the sins have a Valentine now. With King and Diane already an obvious one, Gowther not really making it a big deal, Ban and Elaine, and Merlin being asked out by Escanor. Knowing the kingdom well, Meliodas decides to take advantage of the day tomorrow. As he plots, King can see the captain's deep in thought, but was too drunk to even acknowledge it and simply fell back asleep.

Bonk!

"Hmm? "

The sound of a bottle falling and hitting the ground awakened Meliodas, he opened his eyes groggily and finds himself and most of his friends sleeping on the floor or on the chairs, save for Diane and King who are sleeping soundly on Chastiefol. He realized that the whole bar is a complete mess and stood up,

"Well, well, well. This doesn't look good. How are customers gonna come here now this place is filthy?" He said to himself, looking around the tavern with a dissapointed look on his face.

But just as he was expecting, the door opened and came in Elizabeth wearing the new uniform with Hawk just behind her, "Good morning, Sir Meliodas. How was last night?" She asks politely, ignoring the uncontrollable situation that happened yesterday night.

"It's always been the same, but it's always fun, " He says with a chuckle and walks up to Elizabeth, he notices the many bottles she's carrying in her arms and was a little disappointed he's not seeing what he wants to see, being pervy like always. He stopped in his tracks and sat at the nearest chair near Elizabeth. " So what are you doing for Valentine's Day?"

Elizabeth froze in place with a nervous look, she couldn't believe what Meliodas just said. She didn't want to tell him she's not going to attend the Valentine Festival or even participate in the holiday itself and just work quietly at the Boar Hat, "U-um, well... Nothing much.. " She spoke nervously, looking at her left, blushing.

Meliodas took his time to note Elizabeth's cuteness, chuckling as he got off the seat and walked up to the princess, patting her head gently which got her attention, " If you don't have any plans for today then I'll accompany you, do you wanna be my Valentine? " He asks and Meliodas was calm and bold in his question, making Elizabeth blush from it in the process.

She was stumbling all over the place, her face started turning really red, "I-I couldn't possibly... I mean--! Is... It okay with you? " Meliodas snickered at Elizabeth's bashful and red face, seeing how his question affected her both positively and negatively.

"Of course, besides, we can all have some fun nowadays, am I right? "

Elizabeth clutched onto the bottles she was still carrying, her hands were shaking and her cheeks felt warm. But not because of being shy and nervous, but because that finally, someone who she truly loved with all her heart is being her Valentine. Knowing Meliodas though, she suspects that he'll be too focused on many other things like having fun instead of love itself.

Nevertheless, having someone at your side instead of being alone on Valentine's Day sounds much more better than being cooped up inside a castle for a whole day, " Yes! I'll be your Valentine! " She answered in a cheerful tone, finally losing her nervousness and accepted Meliodas offer.

"Awesome! But first, " Meliodas and Elizabeth paid attention about the several drunken people in the bar, all still sleeping. "Let's wake them up and clean this place. "

Diane yawned and stretched her arms, still feeling herself in a daze making her feel awful that she drank too much last night, but was glad that she looked after King when he was drunk as well. She giggled at those thoughts as she rose her head up, her eyes glimmering at the all the hearts and red in the kingdom, Diane knew exactly what day it is.

And just as she was ready to get King, he came out the bar holding Chastiefol in his right arm, scratching his eyes with his left hand and moans in pain from all the consumed alcohol in his system making him feel sick to his stomach. Diane notices this but smiles and decides to ignore it, walking up to King and pulling him down by his leg.

King was startled and faced Diane once she pulled him down, making him blush madly and his grip on Chastiefol deepened, "Hey King! Guess what day it is??? " She squealed excitedly, jumping up and down eagerly.

King raised his head up in realization and looked around the kingdom, seeing all the love themed decorations, stalls and many tourists visiting he immediately blushed at the thought of Valentine's Day. Diane sees that King had figured out what today is about and giggled adorably, to which King took pretty bashfully.

"Well we best get ready for our date, on Valentine's Day! " Diane proclaimed and then sprinted inside the tavern to change into a new outfit, leaving King there with a slight bloodied nose, eye twitch and all.

Meliodas spots Diane come in the tavern, "Hey Diane! What's the rush? " He asks her, not noticing her rushing to her room.

"Me and King are going on a date today, now I gotta go! " She replied, but she really didn't have time to have a chat with the captain but just one step up the stairs she stopped herself when Meliodas chuckled mischievously that got her attention,

"Too bad, I was thinking we can have a double date, right Elizabeth? " Diane sprinted towards Meliodas and holds his hands together,

"Really??? " Both Elizabeth and Diane said in unison, Meliodas smirks and chuckled.

"Yes yes yes, yes!!! " Diane cheered happily, King comes in covering his nose,

"What's the commotion about? " He asks the first thing that came in his mind, Diane giggled and went up the stairs, "Captain and Elizabeth are tagging along, it's a double date! " She said before sprinting upstairs, King was taken aback and his face turned red in an instant.

"King, I didn't know you can change the color of your face, nshishishi! " Meliodas snickered at King's blushing that immediately brought a tear of embarrassment to the Fairly King.

"Are we really? Going on a double date with Diane and King?" Elizabeth asked with a small smile, Meliodas responded with a nod and a toothy grin while King's jaw dropped in disbelief.

The four started their double date by parading around the streets of Liones, seeing a couple new sights and built attractions and games made by the passionate citizens. Diane laughed with excitement, holding King's hand as well, King took this quite well though since he was finally getting used to being bold with Diane. Meliodas has been teaching him a few tricks, fortunately none of em involves being a big pervert.

Elizabeth waved goodbye to a shopkeeper as she holds onto some candy apples and walks over to the group who sat down on a bench, with them is a bunch of Valentine souvenirs they've picked up along the way. "Hey everyone! "

They all greeted her and takes the candy apples Elizabeth handed over, which they all laughed and chatted in enjoyment as they continued their date all the while enjoying each others company. Elizabeth giggled then looked at the three of them, smiling. A giant and the Fairy King, who had known each other for so long finally got the love they both lost, and the Captain of The Seven Deadly Sins, who lost many upon many of lovers over 3000 years and shed many tears among them all. But now the curse that had held back Meliodas and Elizabeth is now broken and the two finally can live a happy and loving life together.

Meliodas notices Elizabeth smiling and grins, "I'm glad you're feeling happy again, Elizabeth. " He said, holding her hand tighter, never wanting to let go. The silver haired princess had her mouth slightly cracked open and soon turned into a smile, tightening her grip too.

Then, out of the corner, Ban and Elaine saw and waved at them. The two lovebirds walked over to the group and sees what the situation is already, well Ban at least. "Well, well. Looks like a double date, which one of you dogs planned this? "

Diane, King and Elizabeth smiled at each other and already looked right at Meliodas, who wore a cheeky smile. Ban chuckled while Elaine giggled adorably, "I could tell you all what he's planning, but his mind is a blur. " She said with a smile, which sort of disappointed King who really want to avoid what Meliodas was planning.

"Well we'd love to tag along, but me and Elaine prefer our Valentine's Day alone. " He said before running off with the love of his life being carried on his shoulder unexpectedly.

"Nobody asked you moron!! " King yelled angrily, while Elaine blushed by the sudden turn of events and went off with Ban.

King huffed and gripped onto Chastiefol, but Diane's sudden touch on his arm calmed him, also making him blush. "Come on King, we can't let them ruin our Valentine's Day now can we? "

"Diane's right, besides, " Diane and King looked over at Meliodas who immediately went under Elizabeth's skirt and she screamed in embarrassment as the two other sins were left there with their jaws dropped. "I get to do this all day as well. "

"S-sir Meliodas!! " Elizabeth stuttered, her words stumbling and her face blushing instantly as Meliodas removed his head from under Elizabeth's skirt and stood up smiling as if he didn't do anything wrong.

"What is going on here? " The gang looked behind then and sees Gowther approaching them wearing a rather girlish outfit, a skirt and leggings looked good on his though, any outfit in particular.

"Oh hey Gowther! Do you have anyone accompanying you for Valentine's Day? " Diane asked him, smiling.

"I do not. " He said bluntly, taking the four by surprise. Since he had finally recovered his heart and memories back, the rest of the sins thought he'd be making some friends at least but he was still adjusting to this new experience unfortunately.

"Well, why not ask someone to be your Valentine?" Elizabeth suggested, but Gowther shook his head, disagreeing.

"I don't wish to embarrass myself in front of someone. " He said, Meliodas can finally feel Gowther's emotions coming into place. Elizabeth pitied Gowther and hoped that he'd have someone to be with in Valentine's Day.

King though seemed to look down in sadness, looking like he knew something that the other sins didn't. "You wanna see her again, do you? "

Gowther looks up at King in an emotionless way, "Yes... " He answered slowly, but he sounded very quiet so Meliodas and rest didn't quite hear what he was saying, but King knew his answer, since he was reading Gowther's mind.

"Nadja is always here with you Gowther. Even if she is dead, she'll always be with you. " King said to Gowther reassuringly, to which Gowther responded with a smile and a tear.

"Thank you, King. Perhaps I'll ask Guila, I'll be off then. " Gowther said before walking away to look for Guila, leaving the four there shocked that Gowther would decide to ask the one girl he manipulated back then. But Meliodas brushed it off, sighing.

"Well, that's that. It's getting a little late though, how about we all go watch the Heart Fest Fireworks up that tower? " Meliodas said, pointing towards the tallest tower of the castle, Diane gasped and jumped excitedly holding King's hand tightly.

Elizabeth responded with a blush by Meliodas' suggestion, it was the most romantic thing he ever tried to do before. So they all traveled inside the castle as the sun slowly sunk down, the townspeople getting the fireworks ready below while finally being atop the tallest tower, Diane, King, Meliodas and Elizabeth looked over the horizon and the sunset as the waited for the fireworks.

With Elizabeth busy looking at the wonderful view, Meliodas took this opportunity to look at her beautiful face. Her white hair, her dazzling blue eyes and perfect body had reminded him of his first ever love. The one who showed him the beauty of life, the one who shaped all of his decisions, always making everything all right in the end.

Finally, when the sun is no longer seen and the moon shined brightly up in the sky, the people below all set off the fireworks, the light of pink and red shined throughout the kingdom gave everyone such happy vibes. Gowther, with Guila sitting next to him with a smile, looked at the fireworks along with Ban and Elaine ago decided to tag along with them.

Merlin and Escanor looked up at the colored sky as well, Escanor and Merlin chuckling at each other as they held each others hand. As many lovers alike all watched the fireworks, they all slowly leaned in for a kiss. Including all of the sins and their lovers, except for Gowther and Guila who respected each other instead of being lovers.

King sees all of this and blushes, but when he turned his head Diane faced him with a smile and in a matter of seconds, she leaned in to his lips and kissed him. The fairy was shocked and surprised at this, but knew he had to be bold so he kissed back.

Elizabeth saw the two love birds kissing romantically and a smile crept on her cheeks, before turning around seeing Meliodas facing her, leaning his face closer to hers. "S-sir Meliodas! "

"Looks like everyone is having fun. Let's join them." Elizabeth was taken aback when Meliodas, without hesitation, leaned in to her and kissed her slowly. Her eyes grew wide with surprise, she can feel her body shaking and her cheeks feeling warmer and warmer. But she pushed all those thoughts away from her and held Meliodas closer, he took this quite well and the two kissed slowly but lovingly, only parting when they needed air.

And as they let their love flow, Diane and King sees them and both chuckled.
