Hi all. It's been a long time since I have updated a story. As a valentine's day's special, I want to dedicate this story to all the abhigya fans. I was about to update it on 14th itself, but due to some work, I was not able to do it. I hope you would enjoy it. 

This story would be like Sacrifice OS's season 2. 

Let me start the story...

We can see a tall dark and handsome man getting inside an office. Everyone working there, gets up and wished him good morning, whereas he nodded his head in return. He entered into his cabin and sat on the chair, signing. Another man entered his cabin and saw him sitting on the chair.

Man: Abhi, you came?

Abhi turned his grace and saw his manager cum friend.

Abhi: Ya Ravi. What about today's appointment?

Ravi: Ya, you have an appointment with Metha at 12. Till then you are free.

Abhi: Good. What about tomorrow?

Ravi: That...

Ravi felt hesitant to say it, whereas Abhi gave a confused look.

Abhi: What's the matter?

Ravi: That... Tomorrow is Valentine's day.

Abhi's face became brighter, hearing it.

Abhi: Why are you getting hesitated to say it.

Ravi: That... I want a holiday.

Abhi: Why?

Abhi asked with a naughty smile.

Ravi: You know it.

Abhi: But say it.

Ravi: That... I want to spend some time with my girlfriend.

Abhi: Don't you feel scared to ask like this to your boss?

Ravi glaring: Abhi

Abhi: Ok Ok, half-day leave and...

Ravi: Han?

Abhi: Cancel all of my appointments tomorrow.

We can see a girl running fastly with excitement and nervousness. She went towards the results board of the college and tried to get inside the crowd. With much struggle, she got inside and started to search the name. Her eyes became brighter, after seeing the result.

On the other side, Abhi was sitting in the parking area on his bike along with his friends Ravi and Rishi.

Ravi: Why are you not going inside to see the result?

Abhi: Wait let her say.

Risha: She didn't even reach the college.

Abhi: She is here only.

Ravi: What if she didn't come? At least leave us to see our results.

Abhi: Not. Don't dare to move.

Abhi roared, whereas both signed in frustration.

Abhi: You both know na that she is the one who used to see my result. For every semester, she is the one who used to see my result and inform me and this time also should be the one. So, just shut and sit you both.

The girl, after seeing the result, came towards Abhi running. Ravi noticed her.

Ravi: Pragya is here.

Abhi turned and saw Pragya running towards him.

Pragya shouted: Abhi, you have cleared the exams with distinction. 

Abhi shouted: Yaaaa

Abhi jumped in happiness, whereas Pragya came and stood in front of him. He lifted her in happiness, whereas she laughed happily. The other two saw them with happiness.

Abhi: Chashmish, I won

Pragya: Yes rockstar...

Abhi let her down, whereas she composed herself.

Ravi: What about our results?

Pragya: I didn't see it.

Rishi: Why?

Pragya: Your results. You should only see.

Pragya said teasingly, whereas both gave a deadly glare. They left from there angrily, whereas Pragya chuckled.

Pragya: What about my treat?

Abhi: Ya sure. Chicken biriyani

Pragya: Yes...

Pragya saw him with excitement.

Abhi: Then

Pragya: Ya... I would love it.

Abhi: You have to buy all this for me.

Abhi said with a naughty smile, whereas Pragya gave a deadly glare.

Pragya: Madhu

Madhu: Congratulations Abhi

Abhi went towards her smiling and hugged her, whereas Pragya felt her heart squeezing. She composed herself and plastered a smile. Abhi and Madhu broke the hug.

Madhu: I'm soo happy about you.

Abhi: Thank you. What about you?

Madhu: 95%

Abhi: That's great

Madhu: And I saw Pragya's mark also.

Pragya smiled outside, but inside she felt hell nervous.

Abhi: What is her mark? At least did she cleared this time?

Pragya felt hurt hearing him, but she didn't show it outside.

Madhu: No yaar. Again three arrears.

Abhi turned and gave a deadly glare to Pragya, whereas Pragya pinched her throat.

Pragya: I swear rockstar. I really read very well. Maybe the examiner didn't correct well it seems.

Abhi felt her cute, as well as he was angry with her.

Abhi: This is not the first time. You are always doing this only. Don't come and ask for my help again. Because it is a waste of time for me to help.

Abhi said angrily and went along with Madhu, whereas Pragya's eyes were filled with tears. She saw a hand giving tissue paper. She turned and saw a girl standing.

Pragya: I'm fine, Gauri.

Gauri: No, you are not. You can hide your tears from him, but not from me.

Pragya got the tissues and wiped her tears.

Gauri: Why you didn't say to him that your mother had a heart attack during the exam time? I'm getting hell angry on him for hurting you.

Pragya: If I told him then he would have been with me the whole night in the hospital without studying. Then he would have lost his rank. It is not new for me to get a fail mark, but for him, it is not like that. I don't want to a reason for his failure. That's why I didn't say him.

Gauri: You and your answer. Why are you this much good? Don't be too good.

Pragya: I love him Gauri.

Gauri: I can see it. Now come, let's go to class.

Pragya: Hm...

Pragya and Gauri went to their class. 

Pragya and Abhi were friends from childhood. Both used to roam together and used to share all the secrets with each other. Abhi's parents died in an accident when he was 10 years. After that, his uncle became his legal guardian. Even though he has his uncle as a relation, Pragya is everything for him. He treats Pragya and her mother as his family always. 

Pragya's first crush and first love both are Abhi. She used to steal a glance at him without his knowledge. She didn't have guts to say him about her love thinking about their friendship. She doesn't want to lose her friendship with Abhi because of her love. So, she suppressed her love for Abhi within herself.

Pragya doesn't like studying. But, she took this course only for Abhi. Recently, Abhi got committed to his classmate Madhubala which broken Pragya's last hope. Pragya's friend Gauri used to force her to confess her love for Abhi, but Pragya is not ready to do it.

On that day night

Abhi came to Pragya's house.

Abhi: Hi beauty

He commented with a wink, seeing Sarla.

Sarla: You are calling me as beautiful, but your friend is calling me as bubbly. Whom should I believe?

Abhi: Don't speak about her, auntie.

Sarla: Why? What's the matter?

Abhi: She again got the fail mark. I'm hell angry with her. Before night only I sent her the important questions and I thought her everything. But then too she didn't do her exam properly.

Abhi said sadly, whereas Sarla remembered about the situation.

Sarla: It's not like that, Abhi.

Abhi: Don't support her, auntie.

Sarla: I'm not supporting her. I'm just saying the truth.

Abhi: Truth?

Sarla: Actually, I... I had a massive heart attack before the day of the exam.

Abhi became shocked, hearing her.

Abhi: A... Auntie

Sarla: Ya, she was there with me the whole night. And once she completes the exam, she used to come to the hospital and she used to stay there with me. That's why she didn't do her exam well.

Abhi felt guilty for scolding her.

Abhi: How are you feeling now, auntie?

Sarla: I'm fine now. She is in her home. I think she is upset with you. Go and consult her.

Abhi nodded and went to her room.

Pragya was sitting in the room alone with a doll in her hand.

Pragya: Fuggy, this time if he comes, I won't speak with him. I won't even see him. This is my promise. Let me see, what he is doing without me.

Abhi entered the room and saw her speaking with the Fuggy doll.

Pragya: No

Abhi came towards her and cupped her face.

Abhi: Don't ever do this again. You are my first preference chashmish. When my parents died, you both were the ones who gave me a reason to live. You both are my everything and I'm nothing without you both. I may scold you but it doesn't mean that you are nothing for me. You are my everything and I care for you a lot. That's why I scolded you.

Abhi said with a guilty face, whereas Pragya became sad, hearing him.

Pragya: Ok

Abhi: So, I am forgiven?

Pragya: Only 50%

Abhi: What about the balance of 50%?

Pragya: Only if you complete your promise

Abhi: Matlab?

Pragya: My treat...

Abhi chuckled hearing her, whereas Pragya smiled seeing him. Both completed their dinner together and had a lot of fun together.

The days started to move like this. Even though Abhi loves Madhubala, he spent his maximum time with Pragya which disturbed Madhu a lot.

On such day

Abhi was sitting in the canteen, whereas Madhu came there.

Abhi: Hi Madhu

Madhu: Hi Abhi. What is the plan for you tomorrow?

Abhi: At present nothing.

Madhu: Shall we go somewhere for a date?

Abhi: It's a nice idea yaar.

Madhu smiled hearing him. Pragya, who came to the canteen along with Gaurib saw Abhi along with Madhu. She felt a pain in her heart and her face became sad which was noticed by Gauri.

Gauri: Go and speak with him.

Pragya: What to speak?

Gauri: Such a stupid question. He is your friend and you are asking me what to speak. Pragya, don't run from this feeling. At least say a hi to him yaar.

Pragya: He is busy.

Gauri saw Abhi and turned her grace towards Pragya with a sign.

Gauri: Look, I'm really very hungry and I have to eat now. I don't have time to advise you. So, better come with me.

Pragya nodded and both were about to take a seat, but Abhi noticed Pragya.

Abhi shouted: Oi Chashmish

Pragya turned hearing Abhi's voice. Abhi gestured her to come, whereas Pragya went towards him.

Abhi: How rude?

Pragya: What?

Abhi: How could you avoid me? I feel hurt.

Abhi said dramatically, whereas Madhu gave a stern look to him.

Pragya: You both were discussing something. That's why I didn't disturb you both.

Abhi: Is there is any secrete between us?

Abhi asked whereas Pragya nodded as no.

Abhi: Then why are you speaking as if you are a third person? She asked me whether I'm free tomorrow or not. I said yes and we are going for a date tomorrow.

Pragya: Oh

Then only Pragya remembered Sarla's check-up.

Pragya's pov: Tomorrow bubbly's appointment na. Abhi said that he would also accompany me. What to do? Should I say?

Abhi snapped in front of her to bring her back.

Abhi: What are you thinking in your small brain?

Pragya: Wo rockstar, tomorrow is bubbly's appointment...

Then only Abhi remembered about it.

Abhi: Oh shit, I totally forgot about it. Wait... Madhu, sorry yaar I can't come tomorrow. Let's go next week.

Madhu became angry hearing him.

Madhu angrily: Then why you assured me?

Abhi: I thought that I would be free but I have to go with her to hospital. It's an important yaar.

Madhu took a deep breath and composed herself.

Madhu: Ok

She said and went from there, giving a stern glare to Pragya.

Pragya: Abhi, we can go next time also na.

Abhi: I can go next time with Madhu, but auntie is not like that.

Pragya took a deep breath and was about to go, but stopped by Abhi.

Abhi: Where are you going to?

Pragya: Class

Abhi: Did you eat in the morning?

Abhi asked whereas Pragya gave a sheepish smile.

Pragya: I got late so...

Abhi: Sit down

Pragya: I'm not hungry, rockstar.

Abhi: I said to sit down.

Pragya sat with a pout, whereas Abhi served her.

Pragya's pov: How it would be if you care for me like this till lifelong. But it is not possible. You care for me only like a friend and one day I have to leave you. I'm trying to get distanced from you but in the end, I'm failing in it. I want you to be always with me like this.

Abhi: Nowadays you are dreaming a lot chashmish...

Pragya came out from her thought, hearing Abhi.

Pragya: W...what?

Abhi: Why are you suddenly getting silent at times?

Pragya: Nothing.

Abhi: Sure?

Pragya: Han baba

After eating in the canteen, Abhi went to his class. Pragya was about to move, but stopped, seeing Madhu.

Pragya: Madhu

Madhu: We need to talk Pragya.

Pragya became nervous, seeing her. Gauri, who came out, saw Pragya along with Madhu.

Madhu: Pragya I know that you and Abhi are very close friends and you are his only relation. But it doesn't mean that he should spend his maximum time with you. He is avoiding me for you and I don't like it would be good for our relationship.

Pragya in a low tone: I can understand.

Madhu: It would be better if you give a space for us. Abhi is also having his personal life and he has to live it. He can't live your life. I think that you can understand.

Pragya's eyes were filled with tears, but she suppressed it.

Pragya: I'm sorry Madhu for disturbing you both. I would ensure that I'm maintaining a proper distance with him.

Madhu: Thank you so much

Madhu said and went from there, whereas Pragya burst into tears. Gauri, who saw all this went towards her and hugged her.

Pragya sobbing: It's tough for me to leave him, Gauri. I don't know what to do.

Gauri: Pragya relax. Everything will be fine.

Gauri consoled Pragya and took her to the class.

Days started to move. Pragya maintained a good distance with Abhi so that he could spend time with Madhu. Abhi's relationship with Madhu went to the next level. Abhi spoke with Madhu's parents and got their permission for their marriage. Even though he is happy about it, he is missing something in his life. His chashmish. It's been a long time since he spoke with her properly. How much ever he says that he is just her friend, that much ever he loves her which he didn't realize. 

Before the day of Engagement

Abhi came to Pragya's house to give his invitation. Pragya saw him through the window.

Pragya: Ma, Abhi is here. If he asks about me, say that I'm not feeling well and I'm sleeping.

Sarla: Why are you avoiding him? Do you know how much he misses you?

Pragya: I would speak about it to you later. Now let me go.

Pragya went from there, whereas Sarla signs. Abhi entered the house with a bright smile.

Abhi: Hi auntie.

Sarla: Abhi. Come and sit.

Abhi smiled, but his eyes were searching for Pragya, which was noticed by Sarla.

Sarla: Are you searching for Pragya?

Abhi: Han... Where is she? Whatever she says today, I'm not gonna leave her. Today I have to spend some time with her. It's been a long time auntie.

Sarla felt bad seeing him.

Sarla: Abhi, she is sleeping.

Abhi: Sleeping? At this time? It's ok, let me wake her up.

Abhi whispered: I know that you are pretending like sleeping. I don't know why you are avoiding me but I would wait till you feel like talking to me. And I missed you a lot, chashmish. This is my invitation chashmish. I want you to be in my marriage became you are my only relationship. Take care.

Abhi said kissing her forehead and went from there. After Abhi went from there, Pragya opened her eyes, whereas tears started to flow from her eyes.

Pragya: I'm sorry Abhi. But I can't see you with another girl. It kills me Abhi.

Pragya thought, wiping her tears. Abhi came to the hall and saw Sarla standing. He went towards her.

Abhi: This is my invitation auntie. I want both of you to be there in my marriage and I hope you both will come for me.

Abhi said giving the invitation and went from there. Sarla went to Pragya's room and saw her crying. She went and hugged her.

Sarla: Why are you doing like this? Why are you hurting him as well as hurting yourself?

Pragya sobbing: Ma, if we are in his life means, we would be a hurdle for his happy life. He would always care and concern only about us which is not a good one. He has to live his life, not us.

Sarla: Pragya, I'm afraid about your life.

Pragya broke the hug, wiping her tears.

Pragya: Ma, I would be fine and you are there with me na.

Sarla: What will you do after me?

Pragya: You will not go anywhere. I know.

Next Morning

On the day of Abhi's Engagement

Pragya woke up and came to the hall.

Pragya: Where is bubbly?

She searched Sarla in the kitchen and finds no one there. She went to Sarla's room and saw her lying on the bed.

Pragya: Nowadays you are becoming too lazy, bubbly... Bubbly, wake up.

She shooked her mother many times, but Sarla didn't wake up. Pragya's heart-beat started to rise faster.

Pragya nervously: M... Ma... Ma

She checked her pulse. There was no pulse and her body was cold as ice. Pragya's world stopped seeing it. Tears were flowing from her eyes controllably and she didn't know what to do at that moment. The one and only name that came into her mind was Abhi. She took her mobile and immediately called him.

On the other side, Abhi was in a mall, selecting his dress, whereas Ravi was standing away from him, along with Abhi's phone. He heard Abhi's phone ringing.

Ravi: Oi Pragya

Pragya crying: Ravi... Ravi, where is Abhi?

Ravi: What's the matter? Why are you crying?

Pragya: Ma... Ma... Where is Abhi?

Ravi: He is checking his marriage dress.

That time only Abhi's marriage strikes into Pragya's mind.

Pragya: Ravi, can you come here soon?

Ravi: What about Abhi?

Pragya: Don't say to him that I'm calling you. Say some other reason and come here soon. Please.

Ravi: Ok.

Ravi said some lame excuse to Abhi and came to Pragya's house. The shock was an understatement for him after seeing the sight in front of him.

Ravi: P... Pragya

Pragya: Don't say about it to Abhi, pls.

Pragya: If we say him about it, then his engagement would get cancel and I don't want it to happen. Pls, Ravi.

Pragya pleaded Ravi and without any choice, he accepted it. Both completed the funeral work of Sarla. Pragya was broken beyond repair seeing it.

On the other side, Abhi's engagement took place. Ravi came to the engagement at the right time and acted as if he doesn't know anything, whereas Pragya was not able to come. Abhi felt hurt and angry at Pragya for not coming.

At Night at 11 pm. One hour before Valentine's day...

Abhi's pov: How could she do this to me? She knows how much she means to me. After that also she didn't come for my engagement. I didn't expect this from auntie. I thought at least auntie would come and be my side, but she also cheated me. Now, I have no one for me.

Abhi's eyes became wet. Ravi came inside Abhi's room and saw him.

Ravi: Why are you looking dull? That too on your engagement?

Abhi: Ya, it's my engagement and I had no one to say as my relation.

Ravi: Uncle was there na.

Abhi: Ya, but you know how much I meant Pragya and her mother. But they didn't come na. I went and asked them personally, even then they didn't come. I didn't expect that they would cheat them.

Ravi felt guilty for hiding the truth from Abhi.

Ravi: Abhi, I have to say you the truth.

Abhi: What truth?

Ravi: Today morning I left you in the mall and went na. I actually went to Pragya's house.

Abhi shockingly: What?

Ravi: Tha... That, when I was standing alone, I got a call from Pragya from your phone. As she asked, I went to her home and...

Abhi: And?

Ravi: Pra... Pragya's mother has passed away, Abhi.

Abhi's heart skipped a beat hearing it. His eyes were pooling with tears and he felt as if his heart has been squeezed by someone.

Abhi: Why she didn't say about it to me? I'm I have become a third person?

Abhi said bursting into tears.

Ravi: She knows that you would stop the engagement if she says about it. Abhi, can I ask you something?

Abhi: What?

Ravi: Do you really love Madhu?

Abhi became confused about his feelings for Madhu.

Abhi: I don't know. At this time, my chashmish is only important for me. I want to meet her.

He said and went from there, leaving Ravi.

Abhi rushed to Pragya's house. In Pragya's house, Pragya was packing her bags and was about to go, but stopped seeing Abhi, who was standing there. His eyes were bloodshot and his face was rigid because of his anger.

Abhi came towards her, whereas Pragya became nervous seeing his anger. He raised his hands to beat her, whereas she closed her eyes. Feeling nothing in her cheeks, she opened her eyes and saw Abhi glaring at her.

Abhi sternly: Why you didn't say about it to me? 

Pragya: Ab...

Abhi roared: Say me

Pragya jerked hearing his voice.

Abhi: Do I become an outsider? Don't I have rights even to know about your mother's death.

Pragya's eyes were filled with tears, hearing it. Abhi signed and gripped her shoulders.

Abhi: I want an answer to all of my questions today. Why did you start to avoid me? Why you were avoiding me for these days? Why you hid this matter to me. Tell me.

He saw her being even more silent. His grip on her shoulders became even tighter.

Abhi: I want an answer.

Pragya composed herself and looked at his eyes.

Pragya: Because I LOVE YOU.

Abhi was taken aback, hearing her.

Pragya: You were a good friend but soon that friendship turned into love. I was not able to stop myself from loving you. If I treat you as a friend with this feeling, it would be cheating which I'm doing for our friendship. And once you got into a relationship, you had got a new life and I don't want to be a hurdle in it. Today was your engagement. If I said this matter then you would have left your engagement and would have been with me. I don't want to be a hurdle in your life and I don...

Before she could complete, her lips were sealed with Abhi's lips. Pragya's eyes became wider and everything became blank for her. Abhi broke the hug and whispered into her ears.

Abhi: I LOVE YOU...

FLASHBACK ENDS

Abhi was sleeping in his bed. His lips curved to a smile, hearing the giggling sound of a baby. He opened his eyes and saw his one years old baby girl playing with his wife.

Wife: Did she wake you up?

She asked whereas Abhi nodded as no.

Abhi: Good morning baby.

He said kissing his baby's hands. He went towards his wife and kissed her cheek.

Abhi: Good morning chashmish.

Pragya: Is this is a morning gift?

Abhi: This is a normal one. If you want a gift, then I'm always ready for it.

Abhi said with a wink, whereas Pragya hit his chest.

Abhi: Ok, what's the special today?

Pragya: You have to say.

Abhi: Let's go somewhere. Somewhere special.

Pragya: Someplace where you can manage your daughter. She is really naughty.

Abhi: She would be good, with me. 

Abhi said carrying his daughter. He came towards Pragya and kissed her cheek.

Abhi whispered: HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY MY LOVE...

Abhi said whereas Pragya smiled with a blush.

Seriously, I lost the touch of writing a story in these days. I don't know whether the story came well or not. I hope you all would like it.
