Chapter Two

Caity got up from her chair and harshly grabbed one of Kaira's wrist. It stung yet Kaira knew better then complain. She just let her girlfriend pull her into her car and quickly buckled. The words fell faster than Kaira could keep up with.

"You stupid stalker, two faced cunt bag. You are so useless and you can't trust me, can't you? Do you think I want our fucking relationship to be built on fucking bullshit? No, I fucking don't. So why are you stalking me? Huh, bitch? I'm asking a fucking question! I can't believe you would embarrass your girlfriend like that. I thought you loved me but you are turning out like every one else in my life. A stupid motherfucking two faced bitch! I can't believe you even lied to me!" Caity ranted, not even giving her girlfriend a chance to answer or defend herself.

"Sometimes I wonder why I'm here. Everyone on this fucking planet doesn't trust me or love me! I can't believe you sometimes! You are so fucking stupid! You are the reason I cut myself!" Caity finished. Kaira began to cry, apologies flowing from her mouth automatically. Caity pulled to the side of the road and turned around.

"Babe? Oh my god, babe, please don't cry. I'm sorry for saying that stuff. I've just been really stressed," Caity said softly.

"It's okay, I understand," Kaira breathed out. Caity leaned down and captured Kaira's lips in a sick, forced kiss. Kaira knew better then complain though as she quickly invaded her lover's mouth with her tongue. She felt so nasty as Caity moaned but she couldn't pull away. Caity was holding her girlfriend against her and, since Caity was bigger and stronger than Kaira, she physically couldn't move.

Kaira couldn't even pull away when she couldn't breath. She didn't dare fight either. Caity finally pulled away and Kaira sucked in a deep breath. Caity closed her eyes and placed her forehead on Kaira's.

"I love you," Caity muttered.

"I love you too," Kaira told her not sure if she was lying anymore.

-

"Mommy," the taller woman squealed. Kaira inwardly sighed but smiled anyways. Of course her girlfriend had slipped into head space. Don't get her wrong, she loved her Princess but she was so mean when she was a little.

"Hi Princess," Kaira cooed through the phone. This made Caity giggle and Kaira smiled softly. Though her parents were yelling downstairs, she still managed to smile.

"I did some stuff today Mommy," Caity squealed. Caity was wiggling nervously, Kaira could sense it. Kaira heard the door open and slam shut twice making her sigh.

"Tell me all about it," Kaira told her. So Caity explained everything that she had done that day. While this was happening, Kaira slipped out of her room and into the living her where her three year old sister played, unknowing that both of her parents had left. That both of her parents didn't care if she lived or died. In fact, Kaira was more of her parent.

Kaira picked up Emma Lee and the baby rested against her shoulder. Emma Lee repeated the same word over and over again as Kaira swayed back and forth. Caity had just finished talking and was waiting for her girlfriend to answer.

"That sounds like a fun day," Kaira said excitedly although she had heard none of what Caity had said.

"Mhm," Caity said.

"Listen, I have to go. Mommy will talk to you later and remember, no sweets unless you ask," Kaira told her.

"Okay," Caity said easily. Kaira hung up as they said goodbye.

"Chicken, chicken, chicken," Emma Lee chanted. Kaira giggled and kissed the girl's forehead.

"Yes, you're right. It is a chicken," Kaira giggled. She envied her sister's innocence. She would never act out on her envy though. She loved her sister very much. It confused her when her mom told her she was pregnant. Her parents could barely support her and were very unstable. How could they support another kid? The answer was they couldn't.

Kaira set Emma Lee down and sat on a couch. She thought about how much she loved her mom and dad. She loved them to bits but somehow she rarely could get through a conversation without crying. Not in front of them, god no. Kaira would die before that happened. She just had to be a good child and take it.

"Why sissy cry?" Emma Lee asked. Kaira lifted a hand to her face and indeed, there was tears. Kaira laughed and wiped them.

"Silly Emma Lee. Sissy doesn't cry," Kaira declared with a smile. The tears came down though. Not many, not enough to count as sobbing, but tears none the less.

"Sissy has tears," Emma argued.

"Sissy's eyes just hurt. Sissy doesn't cry," Kaira sniffled. Emma Lee, innocent Emma Lee, just nodded and returned to her cartoon. Kaira covered her mouth, trying to muffle her cries, and violently wiped her eyes.

"Sissy would never cry," Kaira said mostly to herself. She wanted to be liked her sister. She wanted to believe her own lies. Yet there she sat, Emma Lee watching cartoons in front of her, crying on the couch.
