31st December 2017:

10am:

Shrenu was sleeping and Kunal was already awake, reading some script. He entered the room only to find his sweet wife sleeping.

Kunal: arre pagli, wake up now.

Shrenu: no.

Kunal: please?

Shrenu: but why?

Kunal smirks at himself and goes on the bed. He lies down a bit and brings Shrenu close to him by grabbing her by the waist. He started to kiss her ear and Shrenu smiled a little. Soon he started to kiss her neck and Shrenu realising the condition she was in and Kunal had no idea about it yet quickly woke up.

Shrenu: ok I woke up now. Stop your sweet romance.

Kunal: meri jaan, I have a license to romance you. We are married.

Shrenu in mind: arre yaar, Sanjay was right! This Kunal takes forever to realise.

Kunal: what are you thinking sweetheart?

Shrenu blushes and says: nothing patiji.

Kunal: now what is this patiji? 

Shrenu: ek joke hai.

Shrenal get out of bed and Shrenu quickly changes. They go down and finds Sanjay making food for the New Years party.

Kunal: finally meri bhai is doing cooking.

Sanjay: I felt like it as you two were probably romancing like always.

Kunal: accha?!

He pulls his ear and Sanjay squeals.

Shrenu: you two always act like 4 years old.

Voice: arre if they were kids again then you would see the drama.

Shrenal and Sanjay look behind and see shraddha.

Shraddha: when these two were kids, they were a nightmare Shrenu.

Shrenu: really?

Shraddha nods and both laugh whilst Kunal and Sanjay looked confused.

Sanjay: in reality, there is always saas bahu drama and in our house there is never saas bahu drama but a saas bahu team!!!

Kunal: for once I agree with you meri bhai.

Shraddha: you two cook, me and Shrenu will talk.

Brothers: fine....

Saas bahu go and Kunal and Sanjay cooked.

Shrenal's room:

Shraddha: look what I got for your baby.

She shows small pink dresses.

Shrenu: arre so cute!

Shraddha: so when  you planning to tell Kunal the good news?

Shrenu: very soon. He hasn't realised and now I have to tell me.

Shraddha laughs.

Shraddha: this is the problem with all husbands. Their minds work very slow!

Shrenu: tell me about it.

She blushes thinking of this morning. Her and Kunal's sweet morning romance.

Shraddha: arre what happened?

Shrenu: nothing. Just this morning.

Shraddha: oh ok. Tell me.

Shrenu: a bit embarrassing you see.

Shraddha: oh I wonder.

Both laugh.

Shraddha: anyway let's go and buy some supplies for the party.

Shrenu nods and both go.

After a while they came back.

Kunal: where did you two go??

Shrenu: shopping for party.

Kunal: oh nice to know. Anyway Mum, did you take Shrenu to the doctors?

Shraddha: yes. 

Kunal: what did he say?

Shraddha: just some headache and tummy ache. Stop worrying duffer!

Sanjay: ha!!! For once Kunal bhai has been called duffer by Mum.

Kunal: not fair Mum.

Shrenu: see maaji, how they act like kids??

Shraddha: two grown up sons but still duffers??

Brothers: Mum...

Shraddha: what Mum? Kunal, look after Shrenu. Sanjay, today you are under my control!

Brothers: fine...

Shrenal goes upstairs.

Shrenal's room:

Shrenu was ironing clothes when Kunal came and back hugged her tight.

Kunal: missed me?

Shrenu: where were you?

Kunal: downstairs to give Sanjay some stuff.

Shrenu: oh ok.

Kunal: just wondering, these days you have been acting strange.

Shrenu: matlab? 

Kunal: like dizziness, vomiting, you have fainted a few times.

Shrenu: no no like what Maani said earlier. Headaches and tummy aches.

Kunal: accha? Do one thing, you rest and I will do work.

Shrenu: arre Kunal, no need.

Kunal: really?

He lifts Shrenu up in bridal style and puts her on the bed carefully. Then he kisses her forehead. Ther  faces were near to a lip lock when Sanjay called from downstairs.

Kunal: this Sanjay!!! Always gets in between my romance.

Shrenu: arre Meri nandi, go down na.

Kunal: fine.

He kisses her cheek and goes down.

Shrenu smiles at her sweet husband as she heard him complain downstairs to his mother. She thanks god for a sweet husband and puts her hand on her not visible as of yet baby bump.

Shrenu: baby, soon your papa will realise that you are in the way but ek warning, your papa and Sanjay Chachu are always complaining so try not to get annoyed by that.

Shrenu closes her eyes and a few hours later:

9pm:

The party started and all was waiting for shrenal soon they came down:

Lady 1: shraddha, you were right. Your son and bahu are perfect for each other. See how cute they look together?

Shraddha: yes I know and I hope that they stay like this forever.

Sanjay whispering to her ear: even when they begin to think of children?

Shraddha whispering: chup Karo!! Your bhai still hasn't realised that he is going to be a father and you are rubbing it in again!!

Sanjay: sorry yaar.

Shraddha: good!

Shrenu goes towards shraddha and Sanjay.

Shrenu: Sanjay, what are you up to now?

Sanjay: nothing Bhabhi.

Shrenu: really?

Sanjay: just saying bhai has not realised yet.

Shraddha: what did I do to get sons who realise when they are told??

Sanjay: at least your sons were born handsome.

Shraddha and Shrenu laugh. 

Soon surbhi came with her daughter Anya.

Anya: Shrenu aunty.

Shrenu: hello Anya baby.

Anya: how are you?

Shrenu: fine. You?

Anya: very good. Today we had fun at the fair.

Shrenu: wow.

Surbhi comes and hugs Shrenu.

Surbhi: thank you for making me an aunt.

Shrenu: arre no problem.

Surbhi: you telling Kunal?

Shrenu: let 2018 come.

Surbhi: ok, you  are full of surprises these days.

Shrenu; am I?

They both laugh.

Three hours later:

It was new year and all were dancing, hugging, celebrating with drinks 😂😂😂. Soon Kunal came towards Shrenu and hugged her very tight.

Shrenu: I have a surprise for you Kunal.

Kunal: what surprise meri jaan?

Shrenu: give me your hand.

Kunal confused did as she told. She puts his hand on her baby bump and says in a sweet voice: hello papa, I am coming very very soon.

Kunal was shocked and it took him a few minutes to come back to reality. He was going to become a papa! So his entire family knew this and he was a fool not to realise.

Kunal: is this true?

Shrenu nods smiling.

Sanjay goes up to shrenal.

Sanjay: happy bhai?

Kunal: yes this is the best news I have ever received. I........I am going to be a papa. 

People started to congratulate shrenal, Sanjay and shraddha and Sunil.

Sanjay: finally he realised!

Kunal: tu chup Karo!

Sanjay: arre careful what you speak else my niece or nephew will get bad impressions of their chachu.

Kunal: accha?

He chases him around the room and all laughed.

4am:

All left and the house was cleaned.

Shrenal's room:

Shrenu was brushing her hair when Kunal came and sat on the bed.

Kunal: Shrenu, come here.

Shrenu drops her hairbrush and goes to Kunal. Kunal pulled her close and made her sit on his laps.

Kunal: you know nothing has ever made me happy than this news not even when I found out that I got the spot for OSO. I am going to be a papa and a choti Shrenu will be in this house.

Shrenu: unless it's a boy.

Kunal: hahaha, it will be a girl. A choti Shrenu. Beautiful like you. Cute like you.

He kisses her cheek and Shrenu blushes.

Shrenu: and I want a small Kunal. Handsome like you. Naughty like you.

She hides her face in kunal's neck and Kunal laughs.

Kunal: but regardless of the gender, we will love it forever.

Shrenu brings her face from hiding and says: yes. Forever.

Kunal: happy new year jaan and meri baby.

Shrenu: happy new year meri hippy.

Both get into a liplxok.
