"ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS" Cross and Nightmare shouted outside Dream's window, who was looking down confused. Blue was laughing behind him as Ink glared at them.

"Food." Error said, munching on a chocolate bar.

"... Actually, yes. I want food. Later bird!" Cross commented before leaving.

"I'm going to make a pie. Come on Nighty." Error said, leading Nightmare away.

"Yes! Your pies are the best!" Nightmare cheered, chasing after Error.

"... How did it change from them screaming at us to food?" Ink questioned.

"It's them. What did you expect?" Dream sighed as he entered the house again.

"I'm off to bed! Night guys! Also look up Hehe!" Cross giggled as they finished eating. He ran into his room, making Nightmare and Error confused.

"Okay...?" Error wondered, as he and Nightmare looked up. They made shocked sounds as they noticed the mistletoe above them. Error's face turned blue and Nightmare's cheeks went purple.

"W-We don't have to if-" Nightmare started, knowing of Error's haphephobia. 

He was cut off when Error kissed him. Nightmare stared in surprise before kissing back. Error wrapped his arms around Nightmare's neck. They pulled away before realising what happened.

"S-Sorry!" Error exclaimed, pulling his arms back and standing up to leave.

"No No, it's fine. ... I liked it..." Nightmare said as he stood up.

"R-really?" Error asked.

"Yeah..." Nightmare answered.

"C-Can I...?" Error stuttered, both his and Nightmare's cheeks brightening.

"Y-Yeah." Nightmare replied.

They leaned in and kissed. Error placed his hands onto Nightmare's chest as Nightmare pulled him closer by his waist. They pulled away, staying like that for a bit. Error's hands on Nightmare's chest and Nightmare's arms around his waist.

"So... does this mean we're dating?" Nightmare asked.

"If You want to." Error responded.

"I'd Love to." Nightmare smiled. Error smiled back before yawning.

"Let's Get you to bed, love." Nightmare chuckled. 

Error nodded as he laid his head on Nightmare's shoulder. Nightmare picked up the glitching skeleton and carried him to his room. The negative skeleton placed his newly found lover onto the black bone skeleton's bed. 

'I should get to bed too.' Nightmare thought as he let out a yawn. He turned to the door and began to make his way to his room when a hand grabbed his wrist. He looked over to his boyfriend to see him grabbing his wrist.

"don't... go..." Error muttered. Nightmare smiled softly and climbed into the bed.

"I won't." He whispered as he put his arm around the other. He slipped into the realm of sleep as Error cuddled into his chest.

"Nighty..." Error whined, embarrassed as he covered his face.

"What? You're too adorable to ignore~." Nightmare flirted, a large smile on his face. 

He resumed planting kissed all over his boyfriend's skull, his left arm wrapped around the glitching skeleton's waist. Meanwhile, Dream, Ink, and Blue were staring in shock as Cross threw wrapping paper at them. Cross's face could only be explained as an angry cat.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Cross yelled, throwing presents at them before yeeting himself away. 

"Y-You're... dating?" Dream stuttered. Nightmare smiled happily.

"Yup! This cutie is my boyfriend~." Nightmare purred, making Error hide his face in Nightmare's chest. 

Even Ink and Blue could feel the loving aura around Nightmare for the glitching skeleton. Anybody realized Nightmare and Error loved each other with their entire SOULs. Dream wouldn't admit it, but that hurt a bit. Nightmare had practically raised him, learning everything he wanted to know, then teaching him. Taking on both of their responsibilities when he went out to the village. Gave him his food when they barely had any... They had lived by the tree, despite what others thought. He started Justice Regins so he could pay it back but Nightmare didn't agree. For what reason, he wasn't sure. There was one memory that he couldn't seem to make out. It was just a blur. No matter how hard he tried, it was just muffled voices and a blur. Yet now... Nightmare seemed so much happier without him...

"I'm going home..." Error huffed, his entire face was blue. He left through a portal.

"Erry wait!" Nightmare laughed, chasing after his lover. As he jumped through the portal, he turned back to the trio.

"Merry Christmas little bro, Ink, and Blue!" Nightmare chirped, sending a short wave.

The last thing they saw before the portal closed was Error come over and kiss Nightmare, who happily kissed back. Dream stared where the portal closed, in shock. Hope filled him again as Nightmare calling him his little brother again repeated in his head like a broken record.
