"Okay, is everyone at places?" Miss Jenn called out as her voice was heard by the Wildcats throughout the school.
"On it, Miss Jenn!" Natalie called out, going around to make sure everyone was in their correct places.
Soul was waiting in the Cafeteria on the stairs with EJ while Gina waited at the bottom of the stairs for the dance break with Soul and the dancers.
"Carlos, are Soul, Gina and the dancers warmed up and limbered?" Miss Jenn asked the club's choreographer. "I don't want any injuries or lawsuits before the break."
"We're good, Miss Jenn!" Gina and Soul called back.
"Okay! I'm gonna hit record, and then we need to get this all in one take." Miss Jenn announced.
...
"Ladies, gentlemen, or however else you identify, welcome to the East High Drama Club's brand new Instagram page." Carlos said, starting off the video, before Kourtney took over as she started the song.
I've been waiting for this moment
It's a start of something great
And a chance to turn the page
It's my year, I'm gonna own it
Gonna take more care of me, put myself first
'Cause I deserve to be
Hanging 'round the fire when it starts to snow
Bumping into someone under mistletoe
I can't wait to see what the future holds
All around I'm feeling it, I'm feeling it
There's something in the air
About to go off right now
Line up all around
I feel it coming
Something in the air
A time to look forward to
Get ready for something new
I feel it coming
Something in the air
Something in the air
Getting comfy in my onesie, yeah
Let's kick back and take a break
I hope we're snowed in every day
There's no time to relax
Got moves to make, got ground to break
Get the reindeer out the way
I'm gonna make this season's sleigh
The end and the beginning of another year
Takin' in the memories that we've made right here
The tree is goin' up and my roots are goin' down
All around I'm feelin' it
Are you feelin' it?
There's something in the air
About to go off right now
Line up all around
I feel it coming
Something in the air
A time to look forward to
Get ready for something new
I feel it coming
Something in the air
Something in the air
Holding your hand when it gets cold
Promise me you'll never let go
It's winter break, but we'll never break apart
The season of celebrating
The memories we'll be making
Making a change, makin' a start
I'm gonna make my mark
There's something in the air (air)
About to go off right now (right now, ayy)
Line up all around (oh)
I feel it coming
Something in the air (ayy)
A time to look forward to (c'mon, c'mon)
Get ready for something new (new)
I feel it coming
Something in the air (ayy)
Something in the air (c'mon)
There's something in the air (yeah)
Something in the air (ayy, ayy)
I feel it coming
Something in the air
"We are excited to announce that behind these doors the theater is being restored to its full, resplendent, 1960s-era glory over the holiday break," Carlos explained to the video.

"Hey!" Mr. Mazzara called, gaining the group's attention. "School let out an hour ago. Get outta here and enjoy the vacation."
"Happy Holidays, Mr. Scrooge." Miss Jenn calls out, causing the man to send a small smile before going back into his classroom as he shut his door behind him.
"New Year's Eve party at Ashlyn's! Everyone's invited!" Carlos announced, causing everyone to cheer.
"Gina and I are co-hosting!" Ashlyn announced, causing everyone to cheer once again as Gina danced in her spot.
"Aw, we love happy roomies," Soul joked, causing everyone to chuckle as Gina joking bumped her shoulder with a big smile.
"You guys, wait," Miss Jenn called, gaining everyone's attention. "I don't think I was recording the song."
"Miss Jenn..." Carlos said in disbelief.
"Are you serious?" Nini asked.
"Go back to places?" Miss said with a sweet smile, causing everyone to groan as they turned around. "What? I thought I pressed it."
After finally getting the video recorded, sound and all, Soul made her way towards the door with Gina and EJ on either of her sides.
"Finally, winter break," Soul said, letting out a breath. "I think if I had to wait another day, I might have exploded."
"Yeah okay, Soul," Gina said, causing them all to laugh. "How come Sarah didn't come."
"She's at home packing," Soul explained, "You know, New Year's day is coming quicker than I expected."
"Speaking of Sarah..." Gina said, dragging out her name, causing the two girls to turn to face EJ. "How was your date?"
"Don't even bother asking, he and my sister say the same thing every time I ask." Soul explained.
"It was fine," EJ and Soul say together, causing Soul to roll her eyes playfully.
"Well it was," EJ said, shaking his head as he smiled at the two girls.

'How do you tell your best friend that
the date you went on with her sister
that you thought you were into didn't
go well because all you did was
think and talk about her... Is that bad?'
🎥
"Boring, E" Soul explained to her best friend, looking up at him. "Can we at least know if there will be a date number 2?"
"I don't think so. Don't get me wrong she's great and all but I guess she just wasn't the person I was looking for." EJ explained, causing the girls to nod in understanding.
"I just don't get the understanding of male feelings," Soul said as they walked past Ricky and Nini being all lovey. "I mean one minute they seem like they're totally into you, the next minute you see them kissing their ex in the dressing room and they're back together."
"Is this about Ricky?" Gina asked, stopping at the end of the sidewalk as Gina and EJ turned to face Soul. "I thought we were over him?"
"I am! I've decided that I will no longer chase after a guy who clearly isn't into me," Soul said, causing her friends to smile at her. "My person will come when the time's right."
"Good for you, Soul!" Gina exclaimed, smiling at her friend before she started walking backwards. "Well I have to run but I'll catch you both at the party?"
"You can count on it," EJ said, answering for both of them as Soul nodded.
"Great! See ya!" Gina said, turning around making her way to Ashlyn as they made their way to Ashlyn's mom's car.
"I don't know about you but I'm starting to feel like a popsicle," Soul said, sticking her hands deeper into her pocket, causing them both to laugh. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah. Come on, let's get you home before you turn into an igloo." EJ jokes, wrapping his arm around the girl, leading them to his car.
Not even 10 minutes later Soul was dropped off at her home as she rushed inside into the warm air.
"I'm home!" Soul called, taking off her coat, putting it onto a hook by the front door, leaving her shoes by the door as well.
"In the kitchen!" Mom called, causing Soul to make her way to that direction as the smell of cookies and cocoa filled the air.
"It smells so good," Soul said, entering the kitchen, noticing her mom taking a batch of cookies from the oven while Sam and Sully sat at the island. "Hello family."
"Hey Bug!" Mom said, making her way over to her younger daughter, pressing a kiss to the side of her head. "How was the Drama Club meeting?"
"It was good, we just had to record a video for the club's Instagram page to get people excited for the new theater." Soul explained, taking a seat on an island chair between her brother's as she was passed a glass of cocoa and a few cookies. "Thanks."
"That sounds exciting!" Mom said, excited about the girl's hobbies. "Any idea of what the next musical will be?"
"I heard that it's going to be High School Musical 2," Sully said.
"I also heard that too," Sam said, causing everyone to look at him. "What can I not look into what my siblings are doing? Also EJ was talking about it."
"I don't know, I feel like HSM2 would be too obvious of a choice," Soul explained, shrugging her shoulders. "Knowing Miss Jenn anything is possible."
"Well I'm sure whatever you kids put on it's going to be incredible," Mom said, causing her daughter to smile.
"Thanks Mom." Soul said. "So where's Sarah?"
"Right here," Sarah said, making her way into the kitchen sitting beside Sam. "Why is packing so stressful?"
"It's not unless you make it stressful, sweetheart." Mom said, causing Sarah to give her a look. "It is very stressful."
"Did you ever find out who recommended you to YAC?" Sully asked, causing Sarah to shake her head.
"No and I've asked pretty much everyone I can think of. I even called up my old theater teacher Mrs. Sanders." Sarah said, taking a bit from a cookie. "Did you guys know she moved to New York?"
"I recommended you," Soul announced as if it wasn't anything, causing everyone to look at her.
''Wait you?" Sam questioned, causing his sister to nod. "How?"
"Well after the musical, Dean Patel offered me a spot at YAC," Soul said, causing their mom to let out a giant gasp. "But I declined her offer."
"You don't want to go to YAC?" Sully questioned.
"No, I never really wanted to be this big Broadway star like Sarah, I've always wanted to make music and I only act because it's fun to do, besides I love it here in Salt Lake, everyone I know and love are here." Soul explained. "I told Dean Patel that Sarah would be much better at the Conservatory than I would."
"Thank you so much Soul!" Sarah said, bringing her sister into a tight hug. "This means more to me than you know."
"Just go out to Denver and kill it for the both of us," Soul said, sending a smile to her sister as they both laughed.
"Can you guys believe I'm going to be roommates with Nini," Sarah said, sitting back, causing Soul's eyes to go wide. "And some girl named Emily, but at least it's someone I know."
"Nini's going to YAC!?" Soul exclaimed.
